The owner Angela is very proactive in assuring the children are taught to get along, while reading and general play. Romper Room feeds a nutritious lunch and snacks. She is very loving, especially if a child is upset. She is good at calming a scared child who might be new. read more

Do not send your child here!! They are understaffed and your child suffers as a result. My 4 yr old daughter had a beautiful head of hair. She never had a hair cut. I received a call saying she cut her own hair. When I asked how this happened, they could not give me an answer. As it turns out another girl cut her hair. I understand that this happens with children,but this was not a little bit of hair. It was almost all of it!! The teacher that should have been supervising was not in the room at the time according to my daughter. I tend to believe her since nobody else had an explanation. The supervising teacher didn't even offer an apology and blamed me for not allowing to speak. The owners claimed there are cameras in all of the rooms, which is great if they actually worked. In my opinion this teacher should be let go. As per the owners in a perfect world she would be however they are understaffed and can't afford to lose a teacher. So the children are put at risk instead. At the end of the day I know it's only hair and it will grow back but her 1st hair cut should not have come from a 3 yr old, due to negligence. read more

I love this daycare so much! #1 - The teachers and director have amazing communication with me. #2 - My son is learning so much and is always happy when he gets dropped off and picked up. #3 - My son is pretty independent and likes to figure things on his own, but I was truly impressed by how quickly he potty trained. I put a lot of praise on his teachers for helping him reach that milestone at 2 years old. #4 - The art projects I love that he is getting creative with different materials and making handprint/footprint art for us to take home. I have a collection of his best stuff and it brings me so much joy knowing he is having fun at school. #5 - I called around to many daycares before deciding on this school. Their personalized approach to everything is what sold me. I'm a new mom and knowing my son is getting the love and attention he needs while eating away from me means the world. My child was at Romper Room since he was two and he is now in Kindergarten. Because of them, he was beyond prepared and ahead of the other children in his class. At the open house before school started, my sons teacher had all of the children attempt to read, so she could find out who COULD read, and my son was the only one in his group that opened his book and read it with no problems. I was SO proud of him and I know it was because of the work that the teachers did with him over the years that he was there. I HIGHLY recommend that you take your children to Romper Room.
