He has built frienships and had teachers that have taught him so much over the years, its like a second home to us. Their application for updates and pictures through the day is nice also (when the teacher uses it). But after the baby age, this place stays very expensive for what you get. It's $350+ more a month than other centers in the area for ages 3+. I don't think it's worth it. The turnover since covid hit has been crazy as well. We started here in 2018 and the director was Summer. Then it was Cheryl... Then it was Nicole... Now it's Faith. That's four directors in three years! And all the teachers seem to have changed. And since you're not allowed to go back to the classrooms anymore, it's hard to know what's going on or communicate with the teachers. Overall the atmosphere took a turn for the worse, and there are now many better and cheaper daycare options in the area.

I have to now focus on people walking by the equipment I am working on, have hit two people and nearly a third person while doing the sitting fly machine. I am almost afraid to do the reverse option as I cant see someone passing by. This cant be proper spacing between machines! Also, hand grips on upper body workout machines are HUGE, I am Unable to use them now as my hands are smaller than a huge man, thus very uncomfortable. I am also wondering if weights on machines are calibrated properly? Why could I move 80 lbs on old hip abductor but now only 60 lbs on new machine. It's a mess! I visit YMCA's all over the country while traveling and this one is now one of the worst rather than one of the best! I will use a treadmill occasionally during hot summer but no more workouts on lower/upper body equipment.

The Values they hold are just money money money. They suspended my son for a week with no notice I didn't get notified or anything when I went to pick him up. didn't get an incident report or anything. mind you the child, who has autism for running up the hallway not responding when he never responds. He has autism mind you. and because I asked for a paper to notify my job she put on the paper the family is not returning! because I got upset for not being informed that my child was suspended until I brought him back the following day. As a parent I think that is something that should've been discussed at the time of incident when I picked him up at 11 on Tuesday the day of the situation. not when I am bringing him in on Thursday morning. Talk about lack of communication. It's Insane I'm even going through this. Horrible experience. if your child has any kinds of special needs I would stay far away from this place. From someone else also, Terrible Experience at Bay Vista Learning Center I am extremely disappointed and concerned about my child's recent stay at Bay Vista Learning Center. During their time there, several alarming incidents occurred: Misidentification: My child was nearly given to another parent, which raises serious concerns about the center's safety protocols and attentiveness. Physical Harm: My child came home with bruises, and there was no explanation or communication from the staff about how this happened. Allergic Reaction: Despite providing clear instructions about my child's food allergies, they were given incorrect food, resulting in a delayed allergic reaction. When I addressed this with the owner, Diane, her dismissive response was, "it's not a big deal." These issues indicate a severe lack of care and responsibility at Bay Vista Learning Center. I cannot in good conscience recommend this facility to any parent. Please be cautious if you are considering sending your child here.
