Without a doubt they were some of the most knowledgeable and straightforward people I have spoken with on the phone in quite some time. It is very hard to find honesty in that business. I have done all my own oil changes for years so it's refreshing to find someone who's honest when you know the answers your listining for. To the extent I actually found myself calling them back even after I disqualified them! I found mysyelf wanting to drive almost 20 miles outside of my way just to give them the business,. ...ie: making an attempt to find a coupon online from Valvoline. Which sadly you cannot use at their location because apparently corporate has screwed them over in the past I cannot blame them for that! it's just a shame because I would have loved to give them my business.

The dealership found that there was no oil showing on the dipstick and that the gasket had not been installed correctly during the oil change. We contacted GULF Auto, and Mike initially stated that they would reimburse my daughter for the oil change she had paid for on August 24th, as well as whatever costs she incurred at the dealership. However, they are now refusing to pay for anything. I spoke with Trish, who contacted the manager, Sam. We were told that they are not going to pay for anything, despite the issue occurring immediately after their oil change. This is extremely disappointing, especially when dealing with a brand-new vehicle. If you are trusting a shop with your vehicle, you should be able to expect the work to be done correctly and for the business to stand behind its work when something goes wrong. I would not recommend GULF Auto based on this experience. I strongly encourage others to double-check their oil level and the work performed after using this shop.

The transmission is a known issue and I'm worried. Vehicle: 2017 Colorado My expectations: Medium to low; things like sorry sir can't duplicate, battery is fine, oil changed, and pay up. I needed a loaner car. The actuality: First of all I'm not going to name any names because everything is a team effort and the team in the service department were all fantastic and exceptional. There is enough information in my post for the management there to identify who I am and who worked with me if needed. I was checked in quickly and my loaner was ready when I arrived just had to do some paperwork of course. That night my loaner had major issues, but by 0800 the next morning my loaner was swapped out like no problem. They had my truck for a couple days to check it out. I went to get my truck and was told everything was fixed and good to go (they confirmed the problem and repaired my truck!). I was in and out very quickly and at a very reasonable price for the service they provided. I ran my truck hard on the way back to my place and drove it normally trying to duplicate the issues I was having when I took it in. Everything worked perfectly and actually better than when I first got it. I had to take my car back to them and they accused me of bringing my car in with a bad fuel gauge to begin with. After going back and forth with the rude guy at the counter and insisting that there was NO WAY I would ever drive around town without knowing how much gas is in my car, they finally looked at my car again and realized the part they put in my car was defective and they had to replace it again. That proved I didn't bring my car in with a bad fuel gauge. No apology or anything to me. Unfortunately, after the final repair and them explaining that the new part was an aftermarket part, my car now sounds like crap with constant hissing sounds and gas smells even months after the "repair." They are rude, have terrible customer service, and are overpriced. I will NEVER take another vehicle to this place ever again!!
