This 52,000 sf multilevel Ron Jon "One Of A Kind" Surf Shop carries lots of beach apparel, swimwear, bikinis, surf boards, beach & surf gear, footwear, signature souvenirs, decor, accessories, and much more for the whole family! Some clearance items and the surf boards are located on the upper level. Many of the signature Ron Jon t-shirts have very colorful artistic designs. I love those shirts!! Last weekend, I definitely picked up a lot of items including some very "rad" Limited Edition Spring Break 2008 t-shirts, Hawaiian shirts, board shorts, sunglasses, mugs, postcards, and sandals. The prices here are very reasonable including lots of sale items and deeply discounted clearance items. I spent a good hour here browsing and shopping. I think Ron Jon surf shop is one of the most recognizable businesses in the state of Florida. They've been around forever, and when you walk into one of their stores you'll know why immediately. If there something they do not have when it comes to the water or beach then it probably does not exist. This place has you covered from head to toe literally. They carry lots of brand name merchandise which is usually top of the line. You can wander around in the store forever and still not see everything, it's just that big and exceptionally well stocked. They do not sell cheap here, everything is good quality from the t-shirts to the shoes or even the key rings, they all look great. The interior of the store is mind boggling and the music in the background makes you want to dance as you shop. There's a Ron Jon in about every city in the sunshine state. I've been in many and this last visit was as good as my first visit. But don't be surprised when you check out...I dropped $400.00 in less than an hour. I'll gladly do it again. read more

This Ron Jon Surf Shop is massive and feels like they have everything, from the Ron Jon brand to other surf and surf life needs. The clothing is kind of separated between men and women, with plenty of opportunities to buy their classic t-shirt, in many designs. They carry other products in addition to t-shirts and surf brands and apparel. You can also find home decor, bags and drinking vessels among many other things. The collection is pretty comprehensive, but unfortunately, almost everything has a high markup. It's two floors and they have restrooms on the second floor, which is super helpful. I've been in love with this place my entire life. Where do I begin!? Sales scattered all throughout the store. The Natural Life selection downstairs is so cute. I love all of their heartfelt items. The t-shirts still sport the best graphics in town. I know one of the locals who does the silk screening for them. There are so many local brands sold here. I love that. This place always smells pleasant, and the cleanliness is immaculate. Cora (cashier downstairs) should get both a raise and a promotion. She's wonderful. Dealing with so many tourists, yet still asks everyone where they're from, and if they found everything okay. Pam (upstairs in the women's clothing department) is a total genuine gem. She's great at conversing with customers. This RJ has everything. Super top quality items: Sun Bum, Roxy, Billabong, Sanuk, Cobian, etc... You name it, they've got the best beach brands. This RJ in Cocoa beach is the place!! casual beach attire/wear, souvenir merch runs the gamut: Florida topics, select Nasa stuff, surf gear, oodles of Store t-shirts, and a few other partner stuff. from time to time there is/are holiday themed clothing. for example, there are surfing Nasa astronaut shirts. also one time a surfing Santa shirt. once a long time ago, I got the manatee shirt. and even a surfing teddy bear shirt. my fave shirt is the space shuttle launching from the store. a reasonable amount of store parking nearby. street parking enforced 0~` 24 hours daily. one block from the beach/seaside. the included decals with purchase; along with the ones purchased seem to be every where. I under stand that one of these stickers was placed inside a Concorde jet; the MIR Space station; Skylab space station; a few on the Berlin Wall... amongst many other places!!! a must see. Sure it's a surf shop but this place is really all about beach supplies and souvenirs. And the place is huge! Wonderfully air conditioned to a crisp refreshing chill, you'll get lost in the land of summertime merchandise as you escape the smothering heat outside. You can't miss the building coming from either direction on the main drag. You have to stop in at least once. The size of the building and pretty colors will pull you in like a moth to a Bunsen burner (named after Robert Bunsen). Plenty of parking. Keep those windows cracked because it's hot! They carry everything you might need from swimsuits (you forgot?) to plastic sand bucket pails and shovels (you know, for castle building). Maybe a sunshade umbrella. Also take into consideration you get what you pay for. Ron Jon makes some quality items. If you are visiting/vacationing in Cocoa Beach, you absolutely cannot miss coming to this store. It's like seeing the ocean for the first time and saying you didn't at least put your toe in the water. Coming here is a MUST! Also, in my humble opinion, doesn't everyone need to own at least one thing with the Ron Jon logo on it? I mean, c'mon! Honestly, if you're in need of sunscreen, sand buckets & other toys for the kiddos, floaties for the kiddos, etc., then head to Walmart or Target before coming to the beach. You don't want to pay sky high items for those little necessities. And believe you me, you will pay dearly for sunscreen here. But if you do forget it, buy it. I'm a firm believer in always wearing your sunscreen! I'm not going to go into all the items the store has because you've probably already read it in one of the other many reviews. Is it a tourist trap? Yes. Is it worth it? Absolutely. You can seriously get all your beach needs taken care of here from sunscreen to clothes to surf lessons and home décor. Even the locals shop here. One surfer told me that, being open 24 hours, mean they stop in regularly when leaving for early morning competitions and they've run out of crucial parts or supplies. Super cool store! I have been here many times when visiting my parents. It's HUGE, bigger than a Bass Pro Shop and has the biggest selection of beach and surf gear I have ever seen! The staff is cool, I always leave with bags of cool nautical decor, gifts for the family and clothing. They have basically everything you would need for the beach but their customer service in store is seriously lacking. I asked a simple question where an item might be and the girl gave me the rudest looks like I was bugging her in even asking. I have done over 12 years customer service and was appalled. Then there is no clear understanding of where to do a return so after waiting in lines - which by the way NONE of the registers were open even tho many employees just standing behind them like they should be open- I was then told I had to go wait in the customer service line back in the corner. Seriously next time I'll just find things myself and not even bother asking for help. Kindness can go a long way in shop, FYI. read more

My family went to Cocoa Beach, and we were very surprised by how "run-down" the area appeared to be compared to Melbourne nearby. This surf shop is the saving grace of this town, and it is honestly the only thing we enjoyed in Cocoa Beach. They have a little bit of everything - clothes, surf boards, accessories, home decor, beach supplies, Yeti items, toys, & tons more. Florida residents get 15% off with proof of residency so keep that in mind too! I found a pair of very comfy, lightweight & loose shorts on sale for just $9, which couldn't get the extra 15% off since they were clearance but it was still a great deal. I was found two anklets I loved & my boyfriend got a new pair of board shorts. There's multiple levels though so be sure to head upstairs for women & kids & stick around downstairs for men & general accessories & surfing items. read more
