The local diner I needed! The vibe is very homey and divey. Love the service - just some nice folk looking to make sure the diners are satisfied. Salsa is good! Had it with my eggs - french toast is good and country fried steak fulfills the general craving for it. The food isn't spectacular but fits the bill of a divey local diner & the price points are fair. Totally satisfied knowing that the diner had a mom and pop vibe and the photos are accurate to my expectations.

Hobo breakfast with biscuits and gravy

Super cute old-school diner. They have so many good looking specials, that It was really hard to choose. I ended up going with The hobo breakfast. That includes your choice of toast or biscuits with gravy, so course I got biscuits. The register was down so it was cash only so this was the perfect plate to split with my wife with the cash we had on hand. This breakfast is definitely a two person meal or a very hungry person's breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were simple, but definitely worth getting again. Oh and you have to try their salsa. It is so damn good! And I especially appreciate the fact that the service is really great as that's not the case for so many restaurants in the Bay Area as of late. I can't wait to come back when their card reader is running again so I can try even more items on their menu.

Yummy can't go wrong diner food. You can enjoy breakfast & lunch until 1pm. The service is great, the servers I had were nice, and you can't go wrong here especially for breakie I usually get the country fried steak and eggs with hash browns extra crispy. Today I ordered that steak extra crispy, hash browns extra crispy, and eggs over medium with a pancake on the side. The pancake is alright its probably better if you add a lot more butter- if you prefer fluffier pancakes though, this is for you. Everything was cooked to perfection and my bf usually gets the Sam's scramble with chorizo added. He also orders two poached eggs on the side. The house made salsa here is the bomb and my bf swears by it lol price range is average Bay Area prices but the portions make up for it!

We wanted a quick simple breakfast. It was about 6am and not all the local joints were open yet. I remembered having seen Ronaker's in passing and they were open. We were greeted as we walked in. There were counter seats as well as tables. We opted to sit away from the other patrons so we could converse in private. Several other customers came in after us. Some ate in while others took their orders to go. This is an industrial part of town so it appeared that most of the customers were local laborers and truck drivers. Service was quick and efficient. The coffee was decent and we got the breakfasts that we ordered. Nothing fancy, no fuss, no muss. We got warmed up and filled. Got the job done!

Dined at Ronaker's on a rainy, but busy, Monday morning. We were promptly greeted and told to sit anywhere. The ambiance is very homey and quaint. Traditional diner vibes. Our server was very friendly. I ordered Sam's Scramble with wheat toast and hash browns. The food did take a while, granted, I later that saw there was only 1 cook-- props to them! Sadly, my food was lack luster. It was lacking flavor. The salsa verde that our server gave us on the side helped the taste. My colleague ordered an omelet, and he had the same consensus. However we both agreed the toast was well toasted and buttered!

Ronaker's Coffee Shop 2123 Doolittle Dr, San Leandro, CA 94577 · ~5.9 mi (510) 357-3960 November 24, 2023 * After an epic failure "computer crashed" at the USPS Passport center in Alameda, 2 hours in between covid19 update vaccination at Kaiser and getting "hangrier". Breakfast asap. * I have been a residence of San Leandro for many years and finally trying out Ronaker's. * Simple diner food but pretty tasty. Portions were great and cooked perfectly. *Menu was simple, basic. Overall great service. The staff were very friendly, and our server checked on us frequently. We will be back, their linguica plate looked delish.

Customer service was awesome immediately we were attend to, food came out with in 8 mins. EVERYTHING IS FRESH!!! Wife is Latina she was definitely stoked that they brought out green salsa homemade. Not overly season just right. Fresh pressed OG too. They went above and beyond. Most certainly fond a new hidden jewel. They been here for 16 years by the way. Thank you for the awesome food. Gricelda kept checking on our table I like when they do that it shows attentiveness. Most important about customer service. Thanks again

Kind of a divey diner-looking place. The server was real nice and ready to take our order right away, but being our first time wanted to look over our options. Lots of good-looking breakfast options - wife and I both like omelets so we both chose the "kitchen" omelet. The omelet was OK, not bad but not great. Hash browns on the soggy side and the English muffin not really toasted. Good service, OK prices and OK food. Still we'd come back.

Place was clean and friendly. Love the staffs friendly and welcoming service and food was yummy. Made me feel homey! Coffee kept coming in hot which was my expectation! A little disappointed in the hash browns because it tasted bland and mushy. Me and my party ordered bacon omelette, an avocado and cheese omelette and a Joe's omelette with fruit. Let me tell you, it was super delicious! Oh and the green salsa they provided has a slight kick but so good! Otherwise great place to eat locally. I want to try their French toast and many more food options. Will definitely come back!

Omelette with Basque sausage and cheese - sourdough toast and hash browns. Great coffee too from the Bay Area - Peerless' grind! ;-)

Enjoyed a great breakfast omelette - sourdough toast and hashbrowns. Be sure to look at the daily specials written-up on the white board. Once you eat here you know why many of the regulars are from the neighborhood or come over from the marina. Great food and cheerful staff.

This place is huge and very busy, but they clearly have their process down because everything came out efficiently and exactly as ordered for everyone in our party -- which is impressive for such a large table. I had a side salad, a virgin Bloody Mary, and the ham, egg & cheese breakfast sandwich. My husband ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, and we shared a strawberry-topped pancake. Everything we tried was delicious and the drinks were great too. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the long wait to be seated, but honestly it's worthy of the wait. Once you're in, the service moves quickly and smoothly. If you're in the area and looking for a spot that can handle big groups and still deliver good food, I definitely recommend giving Elio's a try.

The menu is big and caters to an American diner type of taste; eggs, sandwiches, burgers and similar fare. The service was prompt and friendly, and the food came out at a reasonable time. They're quick to accommodate dietary needs and preferences as well. The food itself was only alright. I ordered one of their specials, the Petrale Sole, and it was under seasoned and a bit too oily for my tastes. It also comes with your choice of soup or salad, along with a separate dinner side (rice, spaghetti, some form of potato, etc.) as well. All of these were also just okay. The pricing is reflective of the plethora of sides, which I personally dislike, as I would prefer lower pricing with no sides if given the option. Overall, this does feel like classic American diner fare, which has never really been my cuisine of choice. It's not bad, by any means, but it doesn't stand out to me.

The wait to order wasn't too long, maybe 15 minutes? While you wait, you pass by a display of cookies and they even have samples out for everyone to try. The staff was very nice, even though they were super busy! We tried: - Free chips & salsa: These are a must everytime I visit denica's. They are a great snack while you wait for your meal. 9/10 - The ube pancakes: These were pretty solid. I didn't think that the pancakes themselves had a very strong ube flavor, if any. I think all of the flavor was in the ube coconut sauce that they come with. However, there is only sauce on the first layer so you might want to get extra! It is an additional $2.75 or so to get the extra side of ube sauce, though. The pancakes themselves could have been a little more moist and fluffy, as they were a bit dry and dense. I loved the fruit and sauce, so that definitely made up for it! I'm glad that I got to try, but I don't think I'd get them again. Instead, I would get a regular pancake and a side of the ube coconut cream! 8/10 - The chorizo burrito: My bf said that this was also a pretty good option. He thought that it could have been a bit more flavorful, but was still satisfied with his meal! 7.5/10 - The side of hash browns: These were good, as to be expected! The portion was a bit small in comparison to other diners in the area. 7.5/10 Overall, I always enjoy my experiences at denica's! The vibes are always there, and they are such a convenient place to grab breakfast or brunch.

The meat itself was just okay. * Rice Vermicelli Bowl - 4.5 stars - not sure why it is called a bowl when it was served more in a plate.
