After about 5 years of looking for a new dentist, I finally found a place I could trust with my…read moresensitive dentition! After retiring from my job, I realized that my previous dentist that I loved, didn't take my newly acquired insurance plan through Delta Dental that was included free through my Kaiser Insurance. I tried out another dentist, who gave me a questionable estimate that included redoing my entire mouth! She was on Delta Dental's list of approved dentists. My teeth were quite comfortable the way they were. That's when I questioned just about all the local dentists on their list, who, by the way, had mostly low ratings on Yelp! I decided to put my dental health on the back burner for as long as I could. Until the dreaded broken crown happened! Then I had no choice but to continue my stressful search. Out of the blue, I remembered that my boyfriend, (before he passed away), had been a patient of Strawberry Creek Dental. I checked them out on the Delta Dental listing and there they were! I was excited and hopeful that I found a new dentist who was close to my house! Despite their current 3-star average rating on Yelp, (including some recent 1-star reviews), I was desperate for a new doctor! I had no problem getting a next day appointment and even becoming a new patient to Dr. Min, who was also my boyfriend's dentist from many years past. The staff and Dr. Min were all very friendly and made me feel welcome. I was given a new estimate of charges that weren't covered by my dental insurance and given options of a reasonable financing plan to help me space out my payments with no interest for 24 months! Everything was explained to me, and I felt comfortable proceeding with the other recommended things that needed to be done. I also want to mention that the RDA's were so nice, gentle, and patient while working in my sensitive mouth! I did wait after a few more visits before writing this review, just to get a better feel on how I would rate them. And yes, I had some long wait times. But keep in mind, that this is busy facility with some of the most current and high-tech equipment on the premises. They appear to be well-staffed from front office to medical support, including dental specialists. Meaning, that you can probably get just about all of your dental needs in one location without having to be referred elsewhere! They also have their own patient portal website that is helpful to some extent, but don't bother sending messages on there, because I found out later that nobody seems to read or respond to your posted questions! All in all, I have no problem giving them a 5-star rating! I didn't get the bad experiences that some other previous patients got. (I hope I never do)! But in the meantime, I can comfortably say, that this place is going to be my new dental office of choice!

My family has been going to Strawberry Creek Dental for several years, and until now, we have…read morealways been very happy with the care we've received. We all love Dr. Min, and their previous hygienist Ari who was phenomenal--knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly exceptional. Unfortunately, our experience today was very disappointing. I brought my 82-year-old father, who has dementia, to his appointment. He has been a patient there for years. As soon as we walked in, something felt different. There were several new staff members, and the person at the front desk was rude and lacked basic customer service. We were then taken for X-rays. I mentioned that my father only has X-rays once a year unless there is a specific concern. He has never had ongoing dental issues that would require them more frequently. When we were taken to the treatment room, the basic hygienist, Carina Sanchez, came in. I was finishing an important phone call from my father's doctor's office that lasted less than 10 seconds. Instead of waiting a brief moment, she abruptly said, "I'll come back when you're off the phone." I ended the call before she even left the room. It quickly became clear that she had not reviewed my father's chart. I explained that he has dementia, is 82 years old, and that I am his Power of Attorney, so I would answer any necessary questions. She insisted he answer for himself. Even after I explained his condition again, she continued to speak down to me. During the periodontal probing, my father was clearly in pain. He has never experienced pain or discomfort during this part of a dental exam before. I told her she was being far too rough with him. Rather than adjusting her technique, she insisted he needed to be numbed before the probing and cleaning. Again, I explained that this had never been necessary in all the years he has been treated there. Her bedside manner was insensitive, and she showed very little patience or compassion toward an elderly patient with dementia. I asked to speak with Dr. Min. When she came in, I expressed my concerns and mentioned the recent negative reviews I had been seeing about changes in the office. Dr. Min was empathetic and listened to my concerns. I also made it clear that I did not want this hygienist treating my father. I was offered another cleaning appointment at 2:00 p.m., but that did not work with my father's schedule. I then went to the front desk to reschedule his cleaning. I waited for over 20 minutes, and no one acknowledged me or offered assistance. This experience was completely unlike the care we had come to expect from Strawberry Creek Dental. My biggest concern is not simply customer service--it is the lack of compassion, patience, and respect shown to an elderly patient with dementia. Healthcare providers should take the time to review a patient's history, communicate respectfully with caregivers, and treat vulnerable patients with dignity. I sincerely hope the office addresses these issues so that other families do not have a similar experience

Me thinking I'm getting my whole mouth done with a deep cleaning and he stops after he's done with the right side just to tell me he's done and that I have to come back to do the left side....never had this happened to me before. They've always done deep cleaning on the whole mouth. The receptionist said when I come back to do my left side I have to pay $105. That is awful. Go somewhere else don't go here!

I was left sitting there for an entire hour past my scheduled time with no explanation and no apology.I only went there to get an implant referral--I was not getting a cleaning or any other dental work done. I was literally there just to pick up a piece of paper, yet I still had to wait an hour. The Filipino dentist kept explaining that they were not the one doing the implant. I already knew that, and he kept repeating it. Then his assistant barged in and said that the long wait "depends on the dentist." If that's the case, why have a check-in book at the front if you're not going to follow it? It is not my fault that you overbooked patients for the day.Do not offer appointment times if you are not going to respect them. You wasted my time, were unprofessional, and showed no accountability.
