Anyways, after trying one dentist in town last year and having a horrible experience, I was very hesitant to try again. Luckily, a family friend recommended Dr. Zander at River Bend dental group. I mustered up the courage to book an initial appointment and was able to get in fairly quickly. Dr. Zander and his team were some of the kindest, most honest, and upfront professionals I have ever met. They explain all of your options to you and are never pushy or try to upsell you on something you don't need. I am so looking forward to being a patient of Dr. Zander's at River Bend dental group. And hopefully I can even convince my fiancé to come here someday.

At my first appointment on September 22, 2025, the hygienist only cleaned half of my teeth in about 30 minutes and told me to come back later in the week to finish. Then the office claimed that this second visit would count as my "second cleaning." So basically, they tried to count one cleaning split into two sessions as the two cleanings I paid for. That's like paying for two burritos and being given one burrito cut in half -- it's absurd. This whole situation was incredibly stressful, frustrating, and felt like a complete scam. It honestly ruined my week trying to sort it out. Their own brochure clearly states "two professional cleanings," yet I only got half of one. The experience left me feeling deceived and taken advantage of, and I would strongly warn others to stay away or double-check everything before paying.

I had a terrible bad experience last year with another dentist. And I was so nervous that I didn't even know if I was going to get through it. Actually didn't get through the first appointment because I was too stressed out and my blood pressure was too high. Which they took which I find that is awesome. So the second time around they were amazing absolutely amazing. I don't speak Spanish and they do mainly in that office and it doesn't intimidate me in one bit. The whole entire office is made up of people that are truly a caring people. I literally feel like it's a blessing.

I have definitely waited a bit before being seen but the office staff does try and check in with the back staff (through a walkie talkie). The first time I met Dr. Padron he mentioned this and apologized for the longer wait but its worth it for getting a job done right.

My Blood Pressure is normal when I arrive but recently I have developed the White Coat Syndrome when they take my blood pressure. Dr.Yasuda and his staff follow the Covid-19 rules, we call when we arrive and wait in our car until they are ready for us. If we're capable, we complete our forms online and if not, I'm sure they have the hardcopy forms for us to complete and sign. We wear our masks, (they also have a disposal mask for us to wear or we could wear it over our own masks) They take our temperature have us sanitize our hands as we walk in. Cleaning appointment went well. They do offer dental insurance, for ones that do not have insurance. Unfortunately, I've had to call Dr. Yasuda for an Emergency Appointment a couple of times!! He calls back immediately and meets me at the office! Or when I call in the morning because of a dental accident, Cindy and Debbie were able to fit me in the same day!
