I can see the bend in my spine and the whip lashed curvature in my neck due to years of snowboarding, skiing, sports in general, car accidents, waitressing I'm sure! My primary care physician sent me for an MRI which did show some nerve impingement but he didn't think it was bad enough to recommend surgery and neither of us wanted to start down the road of constant painkillers. My problem had been going on longer than I realized and I was looking forward to non-ending pain if I did nothing. It was my doctor that suggested a chiropractor might be able to help. I was very impressed by how nice and helpful Lisa was before I even got to the office. Both she and Dr. Cucci are VERY personable and it went a long way to assuaging my anxiety. I love that Dr. Cucci took the time to listen and then thoroughly explain everything, both before and during the treatment. He's got a fantastic bedside manner. These are people who care about the patients and the practice. I didn't expect much after the first session but I was pleasantly surprised that I could raise my arm again after only one visit. I also started sleeping better right away because I wasn't waking up every time I moved my arm or neck. He always asks about the progress and where things are hurting before he starts working on me and with every subsequent visit I have found myself with less and less pain and more range of movement again.
