Brought my truck in for 100K servicing and to get my brakes replaced. Picked up my vehicle a couple days later and noticed that the brakes didn't feel like they were worked on (having to push all the way to the floor). I contacted the owner, who then had Jonathan in the service department contact me (he was the guy who I initially dealt with). I had to come back in a different day, having to take off work, and they couldn't even provide me with a vehicle because of their mishaps. Jonathan could see my frustration and didn't even seem to care. If you have a better option to take your vehicle to, I would recommend it. I will update if anything actually happens. read more

This place is practically a junkyard. Chris Smith was horrible to us, and treated us like we were peasants. He's an absolute trashcan. They didn't even bother to say that we were there close to closing hours. So we didn't even get to test the car. Big shoutout to Ronnie Watkin's "Quick Lane" service. I took our Lincoln here for an oil change, tire rotation, and to check on a few of the basics like battery, brakes and alignment. I was greeted by Shawn who was helpful. I had put off coming here for maintenance for some time as the prices weren't clear to me on their website. There's a way to schedule service online, but oddly "Lincoln" isn't a Make on the drop-down menu. I'm assuming if it was, the price would show. Out the door, I paid $72.99 for the oil change, tire rotation and multipoint inspection. No one tried to sell me on any services I didn't need - pretty fair price for going to the dealer, IMHO. Normally, I go across the street for a 10 minute oil change and pay around the same, but don't get the tire rotation or any of the checks I mentioned. Total side note - I was also super impressed with how clean their restrooms were. Quick Lane is open for service 7:30AM-5:30PM Monday-Friday and 8:00AM-3:00PM on Saturdays - no appointment necessary. While I wasn't sold on the "quick" aspect, I do believe my service was thorough and worth the price. read more

The quickest easiest automotive experience I've ever witnessed. We got a great deal on the vehicle. We got a great loan term/rate. Took my 2010 F150 in to Ronnie Watkins Ford to get a minor leak on the transmission bulkhead connector fixed at a cost of $513.19. Picked up my truck and less than 2 miles down the road it started grinding and shifting funny. Turned around and went straight back to the dealer. Was informed they had previous problems with new transmission filters from Ford not passing enough fluid for the transmission. They changed the filter again only to inform me that I needed a new transmission at an additional cost of $4300.00. I bought my Escape from Joseph Fountain a year ago. Great salesman. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I live in the Knoxville metro area, and on Sunday, due to a family emergency, had to travel back to the Gadsden area on the fly, pick up family and spend a miserable day at a hospital in Shelby County where we lost a loved one 36 hours later. The ride back to Gadsden took over three hours, heavy rain and interstate crashes were everywhere. After dropping off family and arriving in my Gadsden driveway, the power steering went out. With a funeral to prepare for, I was upset. It was after hours for RW, but I found the website and tried the chat feature. I was answered immediately and assured my issue would be addressed by Don Higdon, the service manager ASAP. The next morning, Mr. Higdon woke me with a call, helped me get a tow, and line up a nice loaner car. Charles came to my home and drove me to the lot where I got my loaner car in minutes. I took my 2021 Ranger STX Special Edition to Ronnie Watkins Ford's Service Department on 9/8/2021. The Ford Blue Oval had fallen off the truck tailgate when I was opening it. I was told by the Service Manager that my Ford Warranty does NOT cover the broken/defective part falling off of the exterior of the vehicle. My Ranger has only 5000 miles on it. I am a long time Ford Owner and I have never had a problem with Ford standing by their products. Is it now Ford policy to abandon the customer after the sale? The last time I was in Ronnie Watkins Ford's Service Department was 2 years ago and I had not returned due the terrible customer service. Brought my F150 in for a differential issue. Left it with them for a week. They replaced the clutch pack which I hope has fixed my issue. I will see after test drive and update the review if warranted. However, after going though the hassle of picking up in Saturday (not plug and play), I opened the door and had grease all over the floor and door jam. Also, the cashier could not find the report card that you normally get after a service call. The mats were brand new. Although my truck is not "new" I expect when I pay full retail for repairs and service (nearly $900) that my truck be treated as well as a brand new one. I found the service technician I originally worked with (Joey). He apologized, had my mats shampooed, and the door jams wiped down. He also located the report card. Good save. We purchased our Edge from them in 2008. My husband insures all maintenance is done and we never had a problem...until now. We just got back in town the day we had a terrible hail storm, which damaged his truck (and many others.) The backup warning system wasn't working properly so I had made an appointment for the Edge on 2 April to get it repaired. They scheduled it for the 7th at 8 AM. For once, I had to take it in, as my husband was busy. I was "assisted" by Don, who told me they would have to determine the problem, which was most likely just a loose wire, and then would call me. I received no such call all morning, so I called Service and asked around 1 pm. I was told it was not ready yet. 3 PM I again called, and was told the mechanic had gone to lunch so they were not sure what had been the problem but it was not finished...same answer. I got a ride at 4:30 PM since it was near closing hour and when I got there, Don starts telling me what they found and I have to tell him its not my vehicle. Then he says there was another Edge exactly like mine in too. He then informs me that they can't find out what is wrong on my Edge without removing the bumper, which they haven't done without my approval, and if it is a sensor rather than loose wiring the part ($250) will have to be ordered. Then he says the "Sinc" comment on vehicle health report he said would easily be fixed could only be fixed by replacing the entire module, so it was going to cost $1060.00 for the corrections. I said I could live with the health report comment, but wanted the backup warning system repaired. However, this was the only vehicle we have since the truck was going to the body shop. I asked how long it would take to fix the backup...and was told they would have to keep it through at least Friday because they hadn't done anything to it yet as it was a "busy day." I told them I couldn't just leave it for days when it should have been a small repair, in and out in half a day. They charged me $69 for them to have me drive from Ashville to them, have to be picked up and driven back there at the end of the day, keep my vehicle during that time but not accomplish a darned thing. I wonder if my husband would have been treated in the same way had he been the one to take it in. What bothered me the most was they lied throughout the day that my vehicle was being worked on. They made the appointment for that day, there is no excuse available for not getting it done in a reasonable time and as icing on the cake, I had to PAY $69.00 for them to do nothing...I won't be back... read more

I took my Ford Super Traq there after a motor change. The wire test was run and found ok. They told me the brain was bad. They had taken it out, thrown away the cover and moved the grounding strap to another location. I have been driving this vehicle for 5 years and the under the hood metal and hardware had its natural amount of dirt and soot grease and grime. Rub your finger around and you get it dirty. But the area of the brain where the cover was supposed to be was clean as a whistle. I know for a fact they tampered and put a bad brain in and now want to sell me one for 1100 bucks. These folks are crooks..when I left it there it was running fine..when I picked it up it was bad.... read more

Service department has no clue what customer service is, left 2014 car at dealer to repair GPS, smoke coming out of left exhaust pipe and change oil, I called 2 day later and was told they needed more info on problems, I asked why someone had not called me she was told someone did. I waited 2 more days and call and had to leave message and was told would be call back when tech came back from lunch this was 11am at 4pm same day I called again and asked if car was ready and was put on hold for 14 min, when he came back to call he was not sure if car was ready he would find out out and call me back no one ever called back the next day at 5pm I called to see if car was ready and was told he was not sure and would call me back I told them have been told that before and wold be there to pick up car in 15 min. Pick up car after 6 working days at dealer and said could not find problem with car I told them thats ok problem comes and goes thanked him for at least getting oil and tires rotated during 6 day stay he informed me that that forgot to do that line item, so six day no time to do 15 min oil change. I am moving to Alabama trying to find ford dealer to repair and purchase new truck from. Well looks like I will be filing a large complaint with Ford Motor Company and find a new dealer my be time after 40 years of Ford to go GM.
