    Warren's Boom Boom Wrap
    Leslee B.

I won't lie, I am sad to write this. I was really hoping our last visit (which was our first) was a one off. However, after tonight's visit, I see that it is not. Unfortunately, because of that, I can't rightfully spend my hard earned money there again. When we got there & got our orders in, the place was not busy... shortly thereafter, yes- it popped off. Like I said, we were there & ordered before. Our poppers were ice cold & inedible, first issue. The waitress was great, apologized & let us know she would take them off the bill when we stated we didn't want them re-done. I got my food, no joke, 9 MINUTES before anyone else got their food. 9 minutes when your food is already luke warm is a LONG time (granted, my wrap was good). Next came my daughter & son's burgers. They were cooked well & the fries were hot! That was a win. Until the waitress came out & said it would be ANOTHER 10 minutes before my husband & youngest son's pizzas came out! So, now that's 19 minutes since I first got my food! My husband's pizza comes out 10 minutes later (he did not enjoy his supreme pizza due to too many olives- but that is a him problem. He did mention that the dough was very good), but not my son's... it doesn't come out for another 5-7 minutes! Now we're damn near half an HOUR passed when I got my food. The waitress at the very least brought him out some complimentary cheese fries while he waited, which I appreciated greatly as he's only 6 & he was hungry. She didn't introduce herself, but what I imagine was the manager or a senior server came over & apologized- she did make it right by removing some of the items off our bill. Which, I appreciated. Having been in the food service industry in multiple capacities for over a decade, I find this inexcusable. At what point do you as the manager or the owner decide, "hey- we're clearly too busy to keep up- let's shut it down for a minute until we CAN keep up. Let's stop take out orders & bench incoming diners. I'd rather put quality food out in a well timed fashion than put my name on garbage." The way they time orders also is severely lacking! If you know the wrap is going to be a quick make- then make it last... not first. I also watched another patron have to go up to the register to ask for a refill of water. That should never happen. As I stated at the start of this review, I really wanted to love this place, as I love the atmosphere of a "hole in the wall" type place... but after being severely let down not once, but twice, we won't be back.

Wings were good, service was good, staff was awesome, area was cool and clean. However, the Buffalo Shrimp was horrible, didn't even eat but one each. And it was only 2 of us.

Definitely a hidden gem, that everyone knows about. If it's your first time - driveways are both one way. 2nd driveway is the one you pull into and big parking lot is in the back. They are known for their wings - but the toast Philly cheesesteak sandwich is where it's at. Wings are the best and big. Fries are my favorite. Booths up front and tables with tv in the back. 3 people can eat what they want, with beverages and tip for under $50. They have a pizza and wing special too.

Our annual pilgrimage to Ronnie's was delicious as always. Usually we're with our whole family but it was just the two of us today. We got a "12 supreme and it hit the spot!! It also looked like the had done a refresh to the walls and floors!! It looked great inside. And of course the staff was friendly and helpful as always!!

In my opinion Ronnis has some of the best wings you will ever put in your mouth. I've been eating here with my family for as long as I can remember, The service is always great!

Great staff and ice cold beer. Always leave with a full belly and greatly satisfied with our food. Wings are the best in town. My fiancé is a big fan of the flat wings and onion rings. 100% recommend Ronni's!!

The first time I came here was in the very early '90s, and little has changed - the building is a bit worn, the interior is plain, a touch rustic. The seating is functional, not built for comfort. They offer pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and some appetizers (can recommend the Potato skins, Poppers, Battered Mushrooms, and Buffalo Shrimp),but this place is about the wings, and it has always been that way! They offer nearly 15 sauces for the wings from traditional Buffalo to Mango to Bourbon to Sweet Chili Thai. I've tried a number of the sauces, but I always come back to Crispy Buffalo, medium hot! These are very good wings, and the quality is consistent. A 10 count (mix of flats and drums) with dressing and celery goes for $13.95. The price is in line with other spots that emphasize wings, like Buffalo Wild and East Coast, but it about $2 less than Waldo's. The value spot for wings, with very good quality, is Wingstop at over $5 less for a 10 count! Ambiance - 3 Food - 4.5 Service - 3 Value - 4

Been hearing great things for years about the wings here so finally tried it out. My husband said the place was packed when he got there at 4:50 pm on a Saturday to place our order. The wings were good but not my favorite. Definitely Buffalo style but I prefer them a little less buttery and more crisp. Being from New York we thought we'd love the pizza but we were not impressed. The dough is very chewy/doughy and that's just not our favorite style. If you like that then I'd definitely recommend this place for you. I prefer more of a crisp to my dough/crust. My husband got the fried mushrooms which he said were good. Overall just not our favorite style but it's worth a try if you like this style of wings/pizza.

Two dogs, fries, and drink $6.95. One dog, fries, and drink $5.50.

Ronnie's is known for it's wings, and they are good. However, I am on the search for the best hot dogs in Forsyth County - and there are a lot to choose from. Everybody knows Pulliums, Kermits, and PB's but all are closed on Sunday. We figured, why not try Ronnie's. I have said before "the worst hot dog I ever had was good" and this one was decent, but not among the best. First, buns were not very fresh. In fact, one separated at the bottom and the dog and all the fixin's spilled onto the plate when I picked it up. Our server got it repaired, but the new bun was a bit stale. Onions were tasty, but could have been chopped more finely. The slaw didn't have much flavor. Chili was decent. Their fries are GREAT! Hot, and crispy like fries should be. As I said, Ronnie's is known for wings, and they are good. But this dog won't make the top ten list. BTW, they charge extra for using plastic. Service was great. We recommend Ronnie's for wings, but there are way better choices for a hot dog.

We decided to stop in and try Ronni's pizza. We called them on New Year's Day to ensure they were open. We had driven by quite a few times and knew the building itself was pretty small. When we arrived there were several cars in the parking lot and a few people seated inside. There were also folks picking up to go orders. We were told we could have a seat and were provided menus and our drink orders were taken. My wife and I both decided we wanted to share a pizza and also ordered their potatoes to start. We ordered the medium meat lovers pizza with extra sauce. The inside is modest but appears clean. This is very much a small, locals spot that has been there for over 40 years. The servers all sound like they have been there for years and are very accustomed to each other and their regular customers. Our potatoes arrived quickly and were hot and yummy. We had dipped the in ranch dressing and enjoyed. Our pizza arrived shortly after and was huge! It also looked delicious. We both commented on how tasty the dough was and they were generous with the toppings. We stuffed ourselves and packed up a few pieces to go. Our bill was very reasonable and we felt taken care of. We will definitely return and this would also be a convenient location for us to call ahead and pick up food to go.

I know this place is known for its wings but they officially have the best chicken tendies in the triad lol. When I think of homey small town restaurants this place definitely fits the bill. The inside is just what you would expect of a local place that doesn't take itself too seriously but puts out seriously good food. The people behind the counter are friendly and treat you like you're a regular which is great! The wings were definitely on point. Crispy and spicy and the Pizza was pretty good. They have a really good dough that's almost sweet and it's crispy on the bottom but the crust is soft and fluffy like a bread stick. Thats the best way to describe it. Decent ranch and blue cheese dressing. All in all will be back again!

Ronnie's has been on the try list for a long time. We were in the area and also saw they had kids eat free on Monday. My family enjoyed an early dinner. Our waitress was so amazing. She was very friendly and took good care of us. My son had the kids burger and fries which he really liked. We also shared the fried mushrooms, Hawaiian pizza, and chicken wings. The fried mushrooms were so good. They were perfectly fried, and not greasy. The wings were also a stand out of our meal. They were well cooked, and the sauces were very good. We tried the garlic Parmesan and honey barbecue flavors. We also enjoyed the blue cheese dip. The pizza was pretty good. Next time we want to try other wing flavors and other appetizers.

Since it was Valentine's Day and we knew many restaurants would be packed, we decided to give it a try, thinking a place like this might not be too busy. We were so wrong. It was overcrowded. Apparently, they were also offering a Valentine's Day buffet and hosting karaoke night on top of that. Because it was so crowded, tables were even set up in areas where people would normally walk through. We definitely didn't want the buffet but one of the staff members gave us a menu and told us they were also serving from their regular menu. We still considered leaving since the only available seating was at two small tables in the aisle but since we were already there, we decided to stay. It was very loud so we couldn't really ask the staff about the dishes. Not knowing what to order, we went with the combo plates. I got the Pork Sisig combo, and my husband ordered the Beef Tapa combo. The food was good overall. The flavors reminded us of a mix of Japanese, Chinese and Korean cuisine which was interesting. My sisig was a bit too salty, though. The only thing we weren't big fans of was the veggie rolls. We're still curious to try some of their other dishes so we'll probably give it another shot.

I chose their original sauce, by far the best selection for the brisket. As usual the to go order was out quickly, just over 10 minutes, and I was on my way, with my meal securely packaged. These folks do a great job filling your order quickly and accurately, and for a reasonable price - things that used to be so common at restaurants stretching from hot dog joints to steak houses - pretty rare these days! This was the typical excellent meal from Honky Tonk - the brisket was very nice, made very special by their original BBQ sauce; the Brisket Chili had its own full smoky taste, with beans included, but apparently no onions; and the collards are good but not great - more sweetness than I care for, no sign of meat onions, or cabbage. I drain the liquid that comes with the collard and add a healthy doses of red wine vinegar and Texas Pete. The sausage included cheddar and jalapeños, and packed a nice spice level. This would be nice served a full length on a hot dog bun with a stout mustard. This Tue and Wed promise to be rather cool, will consider another visit for the Brunswick Stew, more good stuff!
