Ron is great, friendly and extremely helpful. Good value for his time as well. I'd use him again for anything that comes up.

Both times he was quick to find the problem, explain and make the repair. With the dishwasher he was honest right up front and said repairs would be very costly and was talked thru what was the best solution. He didn't try and convince me to make repairs and waste money. Very honest and good at what he does. Will call them every time! I hope not to talk to them any time soon though!

First, they tell you that you have to be available all day for them to come do the repair. I'm self-employed, so if I take a day off, I don't get paid at all for that day so this was incredibly frustrating. I also ended up having to be home multiple days for the repair to be done. They also did not notify me ahead of time when they were planning on coming the first time, so I just got a phone call while I was at work on Thursday telling me that they would be there in 20 minutes. I wasn't home (nor was I notified so that I could make arrangements to be home), so it had to be rescheduled. They told me that they would come out on Monday. I came home from a camping trip specifically for this repair just to be told on Monday that they did not have time to come do the repair. So I left my vacation for no reason and drove and hour to and from Muskegon for no reason. They rescheduled for Thursday and someone was coming out, but they did not have the right address on file so that was a hassle as well. Overall, the company seemed pretty disorganized and did not have great communication. I will say that the guy (Felix) who actually did the repair was great. He was friendly and understanding about my frustrations. He did the repair quickly, and cleaned parts of my stove that can't be cleaned unless it's taken apart. He did also explain that they recently changed software for their scheduling stuff, and that was part of why there were so many issues getting someone to come out to do the repair. While the situation was frustrating overall, I am hopeful that this was a one off and that they take steps to improve both communication and organization with scheduling. I do hope they gave my landlord a discount on the service though.

He gave me recommendations of what I needed to do to fix the problem and showed me what filter I need to order! After a quick 20 minute look, the technician concluded, "Yeah, you need a new motor..." As an engineer, I found the assessment incomplete; there was no access to the motor, no terminal isolation, no resistance checks on the windings, and no inspection of the blower wheel. I mentioned I was getting the E65 error code, which manufacturer documentation links to a high limit thermostat trip, yet there was no check for restricted airflow, clogged venting, a faulty heating element, or a blown thermal fuse. Just a blanket statement that the motor needed replacement. Providing additional information to the techs is just irrelevant, I guess. I hired a professional because I don't have time to do the diagnostics myself. After paying $110 for the visit, I was quoted nearly $1,000 to replace the motor--and contrary to what their website states, the $110 was not applied toward a possible repair. Very disappointing.

Called after New Year's and left a message. Drove to their store in a snowstorm after no return phone call to be told parts were on backorder. Finally called to schedule install, when the installers showed up they didn't have all of the parts needed to make the living room fireplace safe to operate. Install finally finished two weeks later. Installation crew was great, everything else was so thoroughly unacceptable that it seemed like we were in an episode of punked. There are plenty of places to get fireplaces in the area, I wish we had read reviews prior to picking this terrible excuse for one.

I ordered a gas log fireplace set with glass doors in the fall of 2022, and they completed the installation this spring just in time for warm weather. The gas log set was available, but according to the Flame Center, they have to wait until the glass doors arrive so they can make one installation trip. The doors were on backorder. I asked to have the logs and gas installed, and they said NO, it's not our policy saying we have to wait for the doors to arrive. Subsequently no fireplace all winter. It's a backwoods organization with no idea about customer service, so go elsewhere.
