As an engineer, I found the assessment incomplete; there was no access to the motor, no terminal isolation, no resistance checks on the windings, and no inspection of the blower wheel. I mentioned I was getting the E65 error code, which manufacturer documentation links to a high limit thermostat trip, yet there was no check for restricted airflow, clogged venting, a faulty heating element, or a blown thermal fuse. Just a blanket statement that the motor needed replacement. Providing additional information to the techs is just irrelevant, I guess. I hired a professional because I don't have time to do the diagnostics myself. After paying $110 for the visit, I was quoted nearly $1,000 to replace the motor--and contrary to what their website states, the $110 was not applied toward a possible repair. Very disappointing.

The tech said he couldn't fix it so he took it back to the shop where the "PRO" could look at it. I was told it would be 2300 to fix the machine. I told them to just return my machine and the equipment they took with it (that they shouldn't have taken) and I would just use the machine for other things and use my back up machine for our bread dough. The service tech then said it will cost a lot more money to get it back to working order like it was because they took it apart and went on to say it needed a bunch of work to get it back to that level of operation (even though it went in to the shop in that condition?) Well a month later and I still don't have the machine or the equipment they took with it back and never a phone call or any contact explaining why. seems because I decided not to use their service and they can't fix it they think I will just go away. Not gonna happen Midwest. I want my mixer back in the condition I gave it to you in with my equipment you took. I paid you 307 dollars to take my machine and give me an estimate.. well I turned it down as another company I have been in contact with said they would rebuild the whole thing for 1400 dollars (well under your bid) This company is a sham and will screw you too. I have also spoken to a couple other business owners that will never use their service again because of some similar type situations.
