When I first set up the rental, we were supposed to get it from Lee summit and I got a phone call saying that I had to go to the Olathe location, which is a much farther drive for us. I was not excited about the extra long drive, but it is what it is. I had schedule to pick it up at noon but the Olathe location closes at noon so that would have been impossible to do so we showed up a little early. When we picked it up, we were surprised by a extra $300 deposit that we were not told or aware of ahead of time. The manager was the one that gave us the rental and offered to split up the payment so that we didn't have to pay out so much that day. He said that he would call me halfway through the trip to pay the other portion and it could be paid with just our debit card. It did not have to be the credit card on file. I never heard from him so I called the next day and when I did, I was told that that was incorrect, it had to be paid with the card that was on file. They could not take any card information over the phone. When I returned the van to the lee summit location, we were told it was going to be more than what we had been quoted originally, but they didn't know why. They told me I had to reach out to the Olathe location to find out what the extra charge was for. When I called them, they said it was because I picked it up earlier than I scheduled. So they charged me for another day. The guy that I talked to about it said that he would talk to his manager about what they could do about reimbursing me and he would call me back. A week later I still have not heard anything from them and when I try calling them, I'm waiting for over ten minutes for someone to even pick up the phone. Instead of hearing back from them, I received another charge for the toll roads that we drive through, which was warranted, but was charged to my card with no warning. On the top of all of that, there is such a thing as crosswind assist on the Sprinter van and that thing is, the most terrifying thing I have ever experienced. It is supposedly a safety feature that keeps you from drifting into the other lane when there's a high crosswind. How it prevents you from doing that is it locks the front and back tire while you're driving down the highway at 65 miles an hour. Nobody told us about this feature and we were blindsided by it, and it is extremely scary when you're driving and all of a sudden, your van just breaks out of no where on a highway. We will definitely not be using enterprise ever again in the future. If you choose to use them, please be aware and pay attention to your bill.

moving is hell…read more rider is a little pricier than u-haul, but it's worth it. they had 500 free miles through their web site as well as an online discount which gives you a "metro van" or whatever for roughly $75/twenty-four hours. the vans are similar to what you see ups + fedex drive around. although they're huge, they drive like an SUV or van instead of a clunky truck. i was worried there wouldn't be enough room in this van, but they're very long and tall. the people working at this location are also very nice. during what should be a stressful time, they are relaxed and professional.

For starters, the price was about a third less than what U-Haul wanted to charge us. The entire process what extremely easy, and the employees were all very nice. As a passenger in the truck, it rode very smoothly, considering it was the "City Van" and my husband, who drove it, said it handled much better that the U-Hauls he's driven in the past. Within 10 minutes, they had me hooked up to a nice covered trailer, checked all the lights, whipped through the paperwork and it was all at a great price. I gave up and left without the truck. I am very frustrated and pissed. U-Haul will never get my business again.

They had the equipment I reserved and it was always in good working condition. Checkout and checkin were easy and the staff was always friendly and helpful. I purchased a Groupon Featured Deal coupon for storage space at Wise Moving Company and U-Haul…read moreCenter in Lee's Summit, MO. The coupon stated the following "Choose Between Two Options *$11 for one month of storage (up to a $116.95 value) or *$39 for three months of storage (up to a $350.85 value). For both options, customers may choose between 10'x10', 10'x15' or 10'x25' units. I called the company to use my coupon for a 10'x25' storage unit. The manager told me that I could only get a 10'x10' storage unit as this was the only size available. I asked if I could get two of these at the same price as this would equal a 10'x20' size. The manager stated that I would have to purchase another Groupon coupon if I wanted more space or for me to contact Groupon for a refund. At this time the company has sold 50 of these coupons and is offering only the 10'x10 size unit. This is a classic example of what I consider to be a bait and switch offer. The store manager also stated that the Groupon sale webpage for this offer stated that these units were on a first come first serve basis. This is absolutely false as no such information was stated in the offer. I contacted Groupon and told them how this company had not fulfilled their promise in their ad and therefore I cancelled my order. Groupon looked at the ad placed by Wise Moving Company and U-Haul Center and agreed that the company indeed did not have any such information in the ad stating that this was a first come first serve basis. I received an e-mail from Groupon stating that my credit card would be credited for my purchase. The Groupon representive I spoke to also offered her apology for having been treated badly by this company. I will not be recommending Wise Moving Company as a company to patronize.
