I am writing this for my friend who JUST got home & had help from Distance Tow. 1-23-19 1:07pm (I had to call for him because his phone had no service where it went into the ditch. So he walked and called me and asked me to find a tow service for him). I found Distance Tow on Google. I called them, then they called my friend....He is so impressed with the service he received!! He's So happy and thankful. Said the (owner) was very nice, easygoing and knew exactly what to do to get the truck out of the ditch without a scratch on it!!! He said he'd recommend Distance Tow to EVERYONE in need of a tow!!!! I don't know why it is saying San Francisco under my name I'm in Raytown MO lol read more

DO NOT USE! I wouldn't recommend them let alone use them! They operate this tow company out of their home in neighborhood company. They use there personal property as a tow lot or use church parking lots. They are a blight on our neighborhoods. They are Trashy people to deal with and run a trashy business out of their home! read more

My brother in-laws was in an accident on the interstate and this company came to tow his car. He asked if he could come get it from there facility later that day and the driver on scene said yes. Later that day he tried to contact the company to get access to his car and he had to call multiple times just to get someone to answer. Once he spoke to someone they told him that he could not come get his car from the facility. He finally decided to just have this company tow it to the repair facility for him. They kept his car for 3 days before finally delivering to the repair facility all while charging storage fees. While they were holding the car for those days he tried multiple times to contact the company and no one answered or would return his calls. He didn't hear from anyone until he threatened to get police involved. I wouldn't recommend this company for towing, and there charges and fees are ridiculous. The tow bill and storage fees were ridiculous and cost way more than any other company I have used in the past. read more

Horrible slow experience and very rude owners, prepare to get the phone hung up on you if you speak to Ashley who is one of the proud owners of the place. They kept my car in their outdoor lot for 4 days when it was supposed to be delivered on the first day, and according to Ashlee this happened because she was out of town and one of her drivers had said that my car had already been delivered to the desired location. Needless to say I was quite frustrated when I found out that my car still hasn't been delivered to the Bodyshop but Ashlee refused to speak to me and hung up the phone, I had to call 6 more times to get her to pick the phone up again. When she picked up I informed her that keeping a customer's car for this long is unacceptable and that I have no idea what could have happened to my car in that time she had the most astounding reply I ever heard from a person in the service industry. "WE OWN A 2019 DODGE CHALLENGER WE DON'T NEED ANYTHING FROM YOUR 2015 CHARGER". I was quite surprised that the owner of a tow service is talking down to me for owning an older car then she does, I have spoken to my State farm about this and they were just as surprised when I told them what happened, they found that the owners of the company they hired bragging to the customer about her new car was especially interesting. According to the comments on yelp they're one of the cheapest tow services out here and with service this horrible, I can't say I'm surprised. read more

I'm responsible for selling my Dad's car. Problem? The battery was dead. We tried charging it, to no avail. The vehicle is a fully warrantied 2014 KIA but it's dead in the garage. I called KIA and there's literally a secret to getting the car into neutral to push it out of the garage. KIA roadside assistance dispatched DISTANCE TOW to help me get it out of the garage and towed to KIA. The guys who came were FANTASTIC! They were life savers, turning a very stressful day completely around. I'm extremely grateful. I was given a window of time that wasn't long (the garage door company had kept me waiting for four hours, had to fix the door before the car was going anywhere) Did I already say stressful? Anyway, I didn't have to wait long, I got text and call updates on times and everything went very well. I would recommend this company to anyone. They were prompt, friendly and very efficient.
