When we brought the car in, it was a tiny small area, the size of a mole. After getting resin in the area, the chip looks way worse. There are whisker like lines coming out now in two different directions. I called and they said to bring the car in. So I did. They said there was nothing they could do since the resin was already in. My issue is that these whiskers or whatever the technical term for these lines on the glass were not there before the repair. And since having the repair, they are getting longer. The whiskers reflect the sun in a horrible way. The tall guy with reddish hair (name ????) was an a--hole. Excuse my language. They worked with my neighbors to obtain payment up front and had my car complete within 4 days. They kept me updated on my car throughout the whole process, which was so nice. And, not only did they fix my car, they cleaned it! The outside was so shiny and the inside completely vacuumed and the floor mats looked beautiful. I was so impressed!! At that time I set up an appointment for January 26, 2023 to have my car repaired (minor incident involving the rear bumper, right side); no other damage to any other body parts. I was also told it would take 4 business days to repair (replace) the rear bumper; I also paid $832.45 for parts (did not use my insurance since it would be less than $2,000). Please remember all this was done on December 19, 2022. On January 25, 2023 I dropped off, to McCarthy Collision in Olathe KS, my Rogue. On January 31, 2023 (the day I was told it would take 4 days to repair my car) I called, since I had a doctors appointment on February 1st, and was informed that McCarthy Collision did not have all the parts. The major question I have .."why wasn't I told by someone, anyone when I dropped my car off on January 25th and gave the keys to the receptionist that all the parts weren't in?" Please remember i paid for the parts on December 19th. I had to spent extra monies to rent a car to get my doctors appointment (canceling was not an option since it takes months to reschedule a doctors appointment). This is piss poor customer service. Before anyone says anything, I don't believe Covid-19 had anything to do with McCarthy not getting all of the parts in. People are to eager to blame everything on Covid. Ok, let's say not getting the parts were Covid related. That should have not stopped them (McCarthy) from calling me on the phone, or even emailing me that they did not have all the parts and not to bring the car in until they were ready to repair the car. My car was finally done on February 7, 2023. Needless to say, if I am in need of any bodywork on any vehicles I own I will not be taking them to any McCarthy Collision centers in the metro area.

When I arrived, the service manager was good at talking with me and understanding what I needed. He arranged for a shuttle back to my house and I only had to wait about 15 minutes. When I picked up the truck the service manager was able to take my payment without me having to stand in line at a cashier. They removed all their paper floor mats and tags when they gave me the truck. Improve: I am always surprised that they do not do a better job on their out briefings. They just take my money, and send me on my way. I would expect that they would review the work order and the result of their inspections, as well as go over when my next service will occur. They also did not have my tire air pressure set identically though this was on their checklist, but the service manager fixed that when I brought it to his attention.
