My car started overheating when the weather turned hot. I got a new water pump, thermostat, fan relay, and resistor. I had him replace all parts. He did a great job. After narrowly surviving an assassination attempt by my dog, I desperately needed my brake lines replaced and bled. There was also so tampering to a wiring harness under my rear number. I am not sure what exactly it controlled by I imagine it had been rigged by my dog to explode should I slow below 50mph. Ronil came out the next day with all the needed parts and fixed it quickly. He was so confident he even worked without wearing an EOD suit. Against my advice. All in all I have no complaints about Ronil and only the highest praises to offer. In response to my review, he is claiming that I am lying and he quoted me $400 from the beginning and I want to get service for free. I think credibility and trustworthy is invaluable and I am sorry that this guy sold it for only $100. He told me himself he owes me $100 and he will give it back to me. I am attaching my text messages with him showing that he quoted the total price as $300 from the beginning and he said himself to me that he will give free service on fixing the steering hose since he has already worked on my car. For the steering hose he sent me a website showing the price as $230 then he told me he can buy it for $150 from eBay and fix it for me for free. I checked the eBay and saw the most expensive one is about $110 and the cheapest one about $45. I told him I will buy the part as I had credit with the eBay and tried to be nice and not accusing him for his lies. After I told him I got the part, he has never responded my calls or texts back again. So to me he has NO reliability and credibility and I hope other people learn from my experience and not fell in his trap. He seems nice and knowledgeable at the beginning but actually he is planning to push you in his trap, taking your money without fixing your car's problem. I paid $400 for nothing and I still have to pay more to fix my car. BTW all these stories happened in late June and I posted a review on end of July. I was driving around Venice when my bronco all of a sudden wouldn't get in to gear. I called Ron at 9pm on a Saturday and he made an hour trip to come help me out. I had him take it back to his place because I was going to get some work done to it anyway. But he let me know that there wasn't anything wrong with my transmission. I have found my mechanic. Ron came to my job and fixed my brakes for me in less than 15 minutes. My car hasn't stopped like that since i bought it. No call, no show and no call or text back. I called Ron based on the positive reviews on Yelp. He stated he was quite busy at the time on December 10th but had an opening on Dec 17th which I stated would work as I didn't need the car until the 20th. I explained the repair needed on my Mercedes ABC system and that it would be a bit of work. He quoted me $150 which I thought was low and let him know I would pay him for his time. Well come the 15th I called to confirm but no answer, then again on the 17 and again and again and a text stating again I expected to pay far more then the quoted price. I guess working on a Benz is not his skill set...That's fine if so or if your schedule changed or whatever but at least communicate. That is not acceptable and puts me in a bind now. my brakes gave out on me while driving. my roadside assistance never came to help so i googled any mobile mechanics in the area and decided to try my luck and texted ron. he was so incredibly helpful in asking questions and completely willing to work with me in any possible way as far as payment and anything else i needed. even though i was a frazzled mess, he kept his persistance professional in finding where i was and helping me no matter what i needed and what i had. he showed up with his proverbial cape on EARLY, completely fixed my brakes annnddd jumped my car all the while keeping me informed on what he was doing and giving me the ulrimate decision as far as what needed to be done and what could wait. he really worked with me on the cost and seemed more concerned about my safety than emptying my wallet. such a great dude, super chill, really flexible and reliable. pretty much the batman i needed to save the day. ive already told everyone i know to call him if they ever get stuck in a rough situation and everyone on here should too. thanks for saving the day ron you ruleee! read more
