Toyota Owners Beware…read more I found out my original struts on my 2008 FJ were shot and had to be replaced. I used KYB ready struts that raised the front back to original height. I took it to a local alignment shop and they adjusted toe and said camber and caster were "in spec" but I did not like the look of positive camber. Sorry if I care about how my ride looks but I want my camber at 0 which is still in spec. I shopped around and asked a local facebook forum if they had any recommendations that dealt with SUV's and someone said Justice Off Road. They were only 30 minutes away so I gave them a call. I figured this place is an off road shop so they deal with custom requests seeing how they do custom work... When I called Justice I told them how I already dealt with an alignment shop and only the toe was adjusted and that I wanted an alignment and my camber set to 0. They said no problem and that they could do it for me and I set up an appointment. I dropped the FJ off the night previous and received a text the next day saying my 2008 FJ was ready for pickup and the total is $176. My jaw dropped but I assumed maybe they had to do something special to get it aligned. I arrived at the shop and went and looked at the FJ and most of the adjustment points were untouched. It still had positive camber. I went into the shop and sked if their alignments were always this high and the guy behind the counter said there was an extra charge because they had to use a torch to loosen the tie rods because they were seized. That's hard to believe since they were adjusted less than a month ago and even if they did alignment shops are always having to use a torch for alignments. This is normal not extra. He also said they had to remove the factory skid plates so that's why there was an extra $60 charge. He handed me the alignment sheet and the camber and caster remained unchanged. I told him I specifically said when I set up the appointment that I wanted camber to 0. His response was I didn't talk to him. This was also the owner I was speaking to. He called his tech into the office and the tech said he was unable to get any movement on the control arm bolts but it was still "in spec". I said I didn't want positive camber and my request was for camber to be zeroed and their response was its a Toyota thing. They seize up which makes it unable to align. Okay so that means an alignment was not performed. They said if I wanted to spend extra money they could use oil to get them loose but it would be extra. I'm already paying $176 and this can't be done? If I wanted to get ripped off I could have just went to Pep Boys but at least get ripped off for $80. I paid to get out of their because their responses were so dismissing like its a Toyota thing. If you know this is a thing why can't you fix it? Why don't you have parts in the shop or at least call the customer and make them aware that extra work will be needed. If you're not going to fix it then why still charge for something you can't do. This is like a customer bringing their car in for a full brake replacement and when they pick it up the shop says we couldn't get one of your wheels off so the brakes weren't done completely, but were still going to charge you full price. I emailed the shop later that night and the owners response was I didn't talk to him. He was out of town and even though its his shop and they said they could get it to 0 its not his problem. (((just a note that the original guy on the phone and the owner I spoke with while there sounded the same so he was most likely lying))) Also he said they spent time on getting the FJ on the alignment machine so that's why they can still charge for alignment. Even though a full alignment wasn't performed they still wasted time getting it on the machine so that counts for full charge and extra charges on top. An extra note my FJ is white. When I went to get in the car this morning what do you know. Oily hand marks on my drivers side door. Thanks Justice Off Road.

Dan and the staff at Justice Off Road are very professional and knowledgeable. I bought my Jeep…read moreparts online and made an appointment to have them install it and the entire process was flawless. They're very familiar with popular companies that produce aftermarket Jeep parts. Installation prices are very reasonable compared to competitors.
