We had Ron's Goode BBQ cater one of our first responder trainings, and they knocked it out of the park! We went with BBQ sandwiches and chips, and everything was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious. The pulled pork was so tender and flavorful, and you could tell it was cooked with care. They made the ordering process super easy, had everything ready for pick up on time, and had everything ready to go. Our group of first responders went back for seconds (and maybe thirds!) and kept talking about how good the food was. I had rons buffalo chicken fingers today for lunch and 100% satisfied. I love the buffalo sauce that Rons and the huge tenders. I ordered it with the nicest voice over the phone who recommened the chocolate chip cookies which were PERFECT! I'm glad I tried it because it'll be my go to for a quick little snack midday. That's the level of service we've come to expect at this place. The food is fantastic. The collard greens are some of the best I've eaten anywhere, and their desserts are to die for. Pro tip: they do run out of desserts, so if you hear about one that you want when you first sit down, order it ahead of time to make sure you get some. I always do this for their banana pudding, which is scrumptious. Another clue that the food is terrific: the okra is hand battered and fried. No frozen okra that every other place has. This is the real thing.
