Tiny undercooked cheddar muffins on chicken breast for scale

They got rid of the dark chicken completely. So you need extra barbecue sauce, with their dry white chicken. So I specifically added for extra barbecue sauce-- the woman working the drive through repeated it back to me when I ordered. And repeated it when she told me what my order was. She repeated it when she gave me the food. There was one small styrofoam to go ramekin half full of sauce for 2 dry chicken breasts. They have dropped the fried green tomatoes off the menu as well. And the 2 tiny cheddar muffins were underdone. Dads has been going downhill for a while now, but they just don't care anymore. Will never eat here again. Addendum: my mom usually likes her smoked turkey sandwich, but she said it just wasn't very good this time. So I looked at the other half that was left. There's a picture-- can you tell why she wouldn't like it? If I could give zero stars, I would.

Having grown up in Anniston, I've been a fan of Dad's since I was in middle/high school. Of all the years I've gone there, I always do takeout/drive through and rarely dine in. While I've ordered quite a few of their food items, I almost always stick with my go-to - the fried chicken finger salad. The salad always has fresh ingredients, comes with a generous amount of chicken, and is very filling. I also love their skin-on French fries. No matter what I order, I almost always add on a side of fries. The service is consistently good, the restaurant is always clean...they even recently built an entirely new building that's much more modern than the old one. Though Dad's has two locations, this one is my favorite. Whenever I come back home to Anniston, I try to stop at Dad's and get my beloved chicken finger salad. This place is a staple!

If I could give this place MINUS stars I would !! I just got a horrible hamburger in which was way over priced. If the burger had been a good hamburger it would have been ok to pay the 5.25 for a nice sandwich. What I received however was awful. First off it was cold, the meat and bun had been sitting for a while. After trying to eat this burger before leaving the parking lot, I decided to take it home and warm it up to eat it. When I got home and started to deconstruct the burger to warm it, I noticed what was on the inside. Obviously a tomato that looks like it was sliced and left over from a day or two ago, the lettuce( I guess it's lettuce) is chopped and has the texture of cabbage, there is only ketchup as a condiment on the burger, and no other condiments other than ketchup in the bag. I asked for a burger with everything. This was a horrible mess, I had to warm this sandwich up, throw away the old tomato and add lettuce, and mustard. All of this after paying 5.25 for this burger. NEVER AGAIN !! DAD's you should be ashamed to put out this product....

Chicken & Dressing plate. Comes with your choice of texas toast or cornbread and two sides.

Weeks in advance, reservations were made for six persons at 4:30 p.m. in the main dining room…read more When I arrived, I was shown to a table in a small room adjacent to the service area; nevertheless, the table was too close to a naked wall for my visitor to gaze at throughout supper. "Well, if you want to wait, I can seat a table in the main dining hall at a much smaller table," the hostess said after asking. There goes the first item. I had boasted to my guest about how the restaurant was decorated. Then came the seating. No server, no server. Finally, STOPPED two of the many servers rushing past just to ask for water. The first server told us it was not her area. The second server rushed through, saying, "Yes, I will get you drinks." We asked if wine or cocktails were available; the response was that she would need to get an "adult to help." No adult ever came to help. No information/greeting of any type to welcome or on how to proceed with getting the food. Now for the $40 food. The appetizer of boiled shrimp tasted mushy, as it had just been poured from a container of water. Buffet: Did not know it would be an almost attempt at a country-type food buffet. Failed at that attempt, and not what would be expected from a fine dining restaurant. Black-eyed peas tasted like they had just been poured from a can, with no flavor. Dressing and mashed potatoes were good, and BBQ ribs were good. The ham had a large bone and gristle, the turkey was thick but dry, and the grease was starchy and had no flavor. The dessert was good, but we did not believe it was made at the restaurant; we ate some from Costco, and it tasted and looked the same. Very rushed and chaotic atmosphere. Staff running past 5-foot aisle along the back of our table and not once looking our way, without us waving them down to help. Used plates on the table were picked up much faster at other buffet restaurants. Maybe just a bad day for their business, but the customers paid for the fiasco. Not sure we will return; it was very disappointing and embarrassing for me to have guided my guest to the restaurant. Made me look and feel embarrassed. Do not believe this is the fine dining restaurant the Mashburns had intended. Classic on Noble Street in Anniston, Alabama, is closing permanently at the end of 2025 after 30 years in business. This was by far the best bagel we have had in the state of Alabama since we have been here…read more Let's start off with the hospitality, it was amazing. We were greeted by the owner himself on arrival and were thanked that we came! And was also curious of how we heard about this place. Staff: The staff he has working for him are professional, super polite and knowledgeable about there items they sell. Facility: super clean and tidy Bagels: fluffy and dense with a smooth soft bite. Great flavor. If I'm being picky, I like my bagels with a little more crunch on top and a little tougher bite. The wife for a salt bagel, deff needed some more salt on it. Cream cheese spreads: assortment of spreads with great flavor. Cream cheese is a little more dense than my personal liking. Our orders: steak, egg and cheese bagel with sun dried tomato cream cheese spreads on Asiago bagel. Con's: wasn't much steak in it and it was more small pieces of cheesesteak style meat cooked into the eggs. Sausage, egg and cheese on salt bagel. Con's: lack of salt on bagel and not much sausage. It was also cooked into the eggs. Jalapeño cheddar bagel with plain cream cheese. Overall: I would recommend to any bagel fan! Also, I forgot to snap a pic of the bagels but I can assure you they did not last long. The man himself said these bagels were good and we were certainly not let down!
