If you need a propeller for an RC plane and this shop doesn't have one it must not be made. But, I was hoping they'd have plastic models, which they do, but it looked like the usual stuff you see at a Hobbytown or Hobby Lobby so that was disappointing. Good selection of parts, wood and paint and building supplies. Looked like the staff was taking care of customers pretty well.

Today, we visited because Tim needed a very specific green paint. After looking for awhile, I found it and it was a good price. The only downside is sometimes the paint prices are way higher that what you will get online (a difference of $5-10$), so we will check forst, and if we can get the same paint for $6, it'll be like $17 here. Which is kinda weird to me because the store is so big, and always pretty active, so it doesn't make sense to have such a significant difference in price. That's my only issue. otherwise, the place is clean, the customer service reps are all very knowledgeable and helpful, and you can expect to have a friendly conversation regarding your purchases. We left satisfied and we always come back!

I had toys that I wanted to sell, so I tried this place to see if they would sell my toys for cash…read more I called them before determining if I should commute there. When I was on the phone with the customer serivce representative he did not give me an assertive answer on if they take trade toys for cash. Instead his answer was "I only collect toys that are like in the box". After having that uncooperative call I decided to drive down there the next day. When I arrived the customer service representative told me the wholesaler will be with you in a few minutes. While I was waiting I had to go to the bathroom. I asked this customer serivce representative where the bathroom was. His reponse was "he( the wholesaler) will be with you in a few minutes". After not getting a reponse from him I decided to go back to the warehouse section since the bathroom is apparetly not in the shop area. Once I went back there he said "don't go back to the warehouse". I then said "I have to go to the bathroom". He then responded "we don't have one open to the public". After that he told me the wholesaler is not here and pointed at me to leave. WTF they don't a have bathroom for the general public? What are people who have small bladders or take laxatives(I don't take them) that are kickin in suppose to do? After leaving the store I then go to the place nextdoor, which is a place a male would only walk into if he is being accompanied by his girlfriend or getting her a dress. I thought about asking the receptionist how often people come in here just to use the bathroom, but I instead just proceeded to the bathroom without asking her that question. If you are a geek for toys you probably would like this place very much. For that reason I am giving this place one star, but the customer service zero stars. Oh! And thank goodness I was not in the mood to be a male karen there.

This red beauty is a beginner's RC helicopter. I call her Red Fandango :) You walk in and you can't get your eyes off the remote control model planes that are hanging from the ceiling. I was really taken back by the amount of model aircrafts Bob carries. From state of the art jets to war plane replicas, they have hobbies to meet every budget. My heli was about $49 and my boyfriend purchased a higher-end for about $129. A week later, we're still flying our toys just about every day for kicks. The best experience was their customer service. David and the rest of the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell this is their hobby as well since they take time to answer every question and provide a wealth of information. I had zero knowledge and didn't want to spend too much and David pointed out the perfect beginner's heli. When it's time to upgrade, I will definitely give them my business again.

While I have noticed minor inconsistencies in grading in the past and chose not to make a fuss, my most recent order crossed a line where I felt the need to reach out. One of the cards ordered was advertised as "Near Mint," but I received a card with physical damage, including deep pen indentations When I contacted customer service about the misgraded item, the only resolution offered was a $2.00 credit or free shipping on my next order. This offer is completely inadequate--it neither compensates for the significant drop in value nor provides the expected remedy of a replacement card in correct condition as per their website's return policy. Coolstuffinc needs to honor its grading standards and provide fair resolutions to long-term customers who receive damaged goods. Buyers beware: "Near Mint" may mean "Damaged." Given their quality control and refusal to make it right, I strongly recommend finding another card store for your purchases.

I showed them the figures I had, and they searched eBay for the value of my figures. Now, when I said "searched eBay", I mean searched for the absolute lowest prices that things weren't even selling for. A figure that sells for $70? They say it sells for $30, and will give you $10 in credit for it. I dealt with a younger gentleman, more of a boy (Couldn't have been older than 20, wasn't even wearing a uniform), who was too busy on his iPhone to really help me. Another employee said this child was the manager. He insisted my $500 worth of figures was worth $100 and he'd give me $40 in store credit. It's not like they were even opened, they were mint figures. When I said I'd take my business elsewhere, he remarked "Fine, not like we needed your s**t here anyway." Absolutely terrible service, overpriced items, and staff that has no idea about the value of things they're selling. Take your business elsewhere, I recommend Acme Superstore. May be a bit of a drive, but they'll actually make it worth your while unlike this poor excuse for a hobby store.
