    Indoor space

Another awesome bar in Portland, this place is huge, and does indoor/outdoor seating. I loved the ambiance indoors, very dark and moody! We ended up sitting outside, since there was more space for our large group. There was a really warm fire place with tables to sit at, and both areas had bars! Everyone really enjoyed the drinks they got here. I also ordered food and it was all very delicious. The Spring Wonton Nachos were incredible and the Pear&Gorgonzola Salad also hit the spot! It was pretty busy after 9pm on Friday night compared to when we arrived at 8pm. Tracking down a server to get our food order in was a bit difficult but it all worked out. I would definitely come back here again and recommend this places to others!

Phenomenal location, fantastic bar program, cool space and food was incredible. Staff was super friendly and was so grateful we came in. Will definitely be back.

Cute vibe, definitely a more chill bar, good for conversations. Pretty easy to get drinks and they come out fast. I love that they have a fireplace and good music playing.

Extremely mid food. This is a hot spot for drink and their night ambiance because the lighting is gorgeous, music can be a bit on the louder side depending on the night so sometimes it can be difficult to hear the folks you came with. But the food is something that was very disappointing to say the least. There was nothing spectacular about the service either, the food was quick to come out along with our drinks.

Recommendation from a local and we were very happy with the experience. Stopped in at lunchtime while apartment hunting. Love the inside vibe. The tomato soup/grilled cheese sandwich was delicious. My husband got a beer on tap and I enjoyed a cider. Lots of choices. Service was quick for lunchtime. The guy taking our order and serve was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go again and recommend.

Great place to stop on Burnside for a fun happy hour. It's good for groups. Has a cute patio too! We had the shrimp ceviche and it was fresh, decent portion. The chips were fresh - a little thick for my liking. Drinks: - Origami Plane - Rontoms sour (comes with the good cherry) I enjoyed this place. It was our, servers were busy We closed out and were asked for tip before the food or drinks came so there's that. Otherwise no complaints.

Rontoms has always been a great place to go out for drinks. They cater a great menu for bites alongside their bar service. It is very spacious and cozy in a sense. They have indoor and outdoor seating which caters to both types of people. Aside from my car getting broken into, the experience was good. The vibe is definitely more laid back outside and it's just a great place for a hangout with friends. It's dark and lowkey - one of my favorites!

We normally find directly to the bartenders to be the fastest and friendliest. But our latest visit we had exceptional table service. That had us ordering all night long. Vibe ~ just cool. Not the newest furnishings, not the cleanest bathrooms but it does relax like a livingroom. Feels comfortable when it is buzzing with folks and relaxing when you're the only one chilling. Live music, tasty menu, strong drinks...and the occasional pingpong is fun.

i came here on a tuesday and it was pretty empty. i love how spacious and wide this place is. they played calm house music which i enjoyed. my friends and i shared the grilled cheese and wonton nachos. the way they grilled the sandwich was so satisfying and perfectly done. the nachos went super well with the pulled pork on top but they could've used more toppings in my opinion. i would come back for the atmosphere, but i probably won't order food here again since it's on the pricier end

Ive came to Rontoms about 5 times , and honestly, it's one of the spots I stand by since moving to Portland a few months ago. It's perfect for a date night or just hanging with friends. The vibe is everything low lights, lounge-style seating, and that cozy but luxe feel that just hits right. If you want to turn it up a bit, the outdoor patio is definitely a plus it's more lively and social without losing the chill energy. Even on busy nights, the service is always solid in my opinion, and the drinks don't break the bank. I paid $18 for two shots of Espolòn tequila, which is wild in a good way. The grilled cheese and tomato soup combo? A must. Total staple. Haven't explored much else on the menu yet, but I've heard great things across the board. Definitely one of those go-to Portland gems that never miss.

Usually go here for drinks and to hangout with friends. Recently tried their food menu and I definitely recommend it. The service is a bit slow but it's a bar so it makes sense. 10/10 recommend.

I love the ambiance and the vibe of this place. It's intimate on the inside and good for groups on the outside. They pull off both very well. The outside patio area is massive. One side has heaters and the other side has tabletop firepits. The table service was fast and our servers were really nice. We only had drinks but they were strong and not super expensive. I will definitely be coming back.

This spot has a moody, industrial-chic atmosphere that's perfect for a laid-back night out or a classy pregame. The exposed concrete walls, dim lighting, and sleek decor give it a stylish edge without feeling pretentious. The seating is cozy enough for groups, and there's a cool urban vibe that makes it feel both intimate and social. I ordered an espresso martini and it was spot-on -- smooth, well-balanced, and just the right kick to start the evening. The bartenders clearly know their craft. Service was OK and the crowd leaned trendy but approachable. Pro tip: Grab a seat along the wall for the best people-watching and photo ops.

Do they allow dogs on the patio?

Our dog has been there twice as well as plenty otherwise. Dogs always seem welcome in the outdoor area.

This is place open for dine inn at lunch time?

    Open daily @ Noon.

Anyone know if you can take a minor into Rontoms before a certain time? Or if it is strictly no minors...teenage minor...not small child minor.

    Fairly positive it's a hard no-minor policy.

To speak about Teardrop Lounge, I should probably start with this:…read more Ladies and gentlemen, I present my favorite cocktail bar. Not the best -- I'm not arrogant enough to claim that. I haven't been to every cocktail bar in Portland, and saying something is the best usually says more about your lack of experience than your conviction. But favorite? That I can stand behind. And I want to get that out of the way early, because of the amount of praise I'm about to pour on this place -- fully earned, completely intentional. The biggest crime here is that I only discovered it two weeks ago, after living in Portland for a year. It had been recommended to me countless times, and I ignored it. A mistake. A painful one. But now that I've found it, I don't plan on making that mistake again. I'm not typically an Old Fashioned drinker. In fact, I usually hate them. But somewhere between curiosity and too many episodes of Mad Men, I decided to try one anyway -- fully expecting to confirm my bias. Instead, it completely flipped me. Bright, almost citrus-forward in a way that felt unusual but entirely intentional. Balanced, smooth, just enough burn to remind you what you're drinking without overwhelming it. It was the first time I actually understood the appeal. I'm pretty sure I grew a few chest hairs that night. That alone would've been impressive. But it didn't stop there. The space is beautiful -- clean, intentional, but not cold. The staff are excellent: personable, engaged, and most importantly, authentic. Not scripted, not performative. The kind of people you actually want to talk to, and hopefully, eventually be on a first-name basis with. Now, all of that gets it close to a perfect score. But what pushes it over the edge -- what makes this place stick -- is the White Russian. One of the first drinks I ever had. My dad's drink. Not because of The Big Lebowski -- that came later -- but because it's just always been his thing. And at some point, it became mine too. Typically, when bars try to "elevate" a White Russian, they ruin it. They overthink it. Swap ingredients, tweak ratios, add unnecessary flair. And more often than not, it ends in disappointment. Teardrop does the opposite. They respect it -- but refine it. The coffee liqueur actually tastes like coffee. The heavy cream is properly integrated, not just dumped on top. The vodka -- whatever they're using -- is clean, present, and perfectly measured. There's a subtle complexity to it without losing what makes the drink what it is. It's the best White Russian I've ever had. No hesitation. I've gone back twice just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. It wasn't. If someone asked me what my death row drink would be -- this specific cocktail, from this specific bar, is in the conversation. Easily. Teardrop Lounge doesn't just make great cocktails. It reminds you why cocktails matter in the first place. And that's why it's my favorite.

We came to Teardrop Cocktail Lounge while visiting Portland and were genuinely impressed…read more The cocktails were excellent -- thoughtful, well-balanced, and clearly made by people who know what they're doing. One of the best parts was how approachable the bartenders were. We asked for custom drinks based on our preferences, and both came out perfectly tailored. Creative without being weird, and strong without being sloppy. What really stood out was the price point. For the quality of cocktails, the prices felt very reasonable compared to similar craft cocktail bars in other cities. The vibe was also great -- relaxed, cozy, and not pretentious. It felt like a place where you could come for a special drink experience without feeling like you had to "perform" or order off a rigid menu. We liked it so much we actually came back a second time during our trip. Highly recommend if you're into well-crafted cocktails, friendly bartenders, and a laid-back but elevated atmosphere.

We got back in to town right at the peak of the parade and lights celebration Saturday. To say it was chaotic would be an understatement. Since roads were closed, the road to my hotel was of course blocked off. So during the first go around we couldn't get to where we needed to be and went instead on a one mile circle which then led is to an area where the guy blocking the road was nice enough to let us through after we told him my hotel was where he was. What a blessing that was indeed because we found a parking spot right across from my hotel. My friend had an hour to kill before she could check in to her hotel since the road was still closed on that side. We lucked out finding two seats right at the bar as soon as you walk in. It was first come first serve and they were busy. Lots of people were trickling in from the festivities to have a drink or two. I got the cucumber cocktail. It was so good I made my friend have a sip. As what usually happens, we ended up making friends with the two ladies next to us who were parade participants representing mardi gras. The hour breezed by so quickly. It was such a fun time I completely forgot to take photos. Hotel guests get 15% off their tab.

Came in for happy hour for a birthday, and I would say, get there right at 4, like hard 4, as they fill up. I "know" they don't take reservations, but I did call ahead and just friendly warn, and Claudia, thank you, was so nice and gave folks a heads up. Had a fabulous time. Would recommend to anyone who likes good places, fun people and great drinks. I mean, champagne cocktails on happy hour?! Yes, however none traditional, but sell me the rhubarb one all day. My only thing, I would say it was difficult to get parking validated or use the ADA elevator, as the birthday man is having some stair challenges. Had to run up the stairs to ask to run it, maybe we just keep it open? Anyways, love! Not the bar's issue, just saying.

You can absolutely smell the fish and vinegar as soon as you walk through the door, which I think gives the place a very homey pub feel. I ordered a spiked peach Arnold Palmer, which I enjoyed (and it was pleasantly strong) and a glass of the house white, which was good for the price. Our server was very fast and attentive. To eat I got the tomato soup with a grilled cheese, which was absolutely fantastic. The soup was so creamy and flavorful, and I cannot imagine a better meal after spending all day walking outside in the rain. The fries were super crispy and I liked the batter. My partner and I shared some of their breadsticks, which were deliciously baked (fresh!) and came with a super refreshing basil crema and a nice tomato-y dip. Wonderful all. My partner ordered fish and chips, and was surprised to find that it is one large fillet of fish, not multiple pieces like you would typically expect. He said the fish was fine, but a little tough. Overall, a wonderful experience. I definitely hope to return. I highly recommend this place as a refuge during the cold winter months!
