They're a family-owned, local small business, and the owner, Jordon, is actually out there on the job, hustling every single day making sure everything is going smoothly. If you have a question, you just ask Jordon. He gives you his cell number and tells you to call or text him anytime if you have questions, comments, or concerns. Direct access to the owner, that kind of service is pretty rare these days. I also liked that they're not trying to impress people with a bunch of flashy trucks or a huge sales pitch that you end up paying extra money for. It's just an honest, hands-on, owner-run business that takes pride in doing quality work and treating people right. John arrived on time, covered patio furniture, did the job, cleaned up well after himself washing down outside sidewalks and patio area. John York showed me photos of the completed job. There were tidy edges all around without any drippings down the front edges like I've seen other roofers do. In the photo you can see the difference between my finished resealed roof and my neighbor's. I am well pleased with York Roofing's work. I also thought I saw a cracked tile, but it was hard to tell from ground level. Evelyn promptly answered my call and set up an appointment to have Geoff come take a look. He texted about 15 minutes before his arrival and included his picture so I knew who to expect. He was exceptional! Told him the concerns about the roof plus a gutter area where water was overflowing during downpours. He walked and inspected the entire roof, found where the piece we had found belonged and put it back in place. He checked the gutters, making sure they were level and free of debris and made sure the area of concern looked like it was functioning correctly. Explained why the the spot was likely just getting overwhelmed during our downpours. He patiently answered all my questions and concerns and provided very helpful info. Hopefully we won't need a roofer again until our underlayment needs to be replaced - but if and when we do, this will be the company we go to.
