I obtained a few estimates from different contractors, and they were not the cheapest, but they were reasonably priced with far better reviews than the cheaper option, which is another reason I chose them. Thomas is highly responsive to communication, which again is quite unusual with most contractors in my experience, so that was a nice plus too. They provided evidence of insurance upon request. We paid a 50% deposit to get on the schedule and I was able to pay that by credit card without an extra fee, which was appreciated since it allowed me to get reward points on the purchase. A crew of three guys came out to the house early in the morning and completed the job just before dark. They did a phenomenal job. Each step was documented with pictures to show where rotten decking needed to be replaced, and an explanation of everything. Despite already being reasonably priced, Thomas gave us a nice discount for the extra decking on the final invoice, which was a happy surprised and very much appreciated. They also cleaned up very well after themselves. If you need a new roof or any kind of roof work, Tom and Jerry Roofing is the best there is without a doubt!

I read the reviews and really wanted to give them my business because by all accounts they are a very competent firm. The person I was assigned to (Samantha) doesn't answer messages and doesn't return my calls. I was promised last time I called in that the owner would call me back on Monday morning with an update. It is now Thursday and I have all but given up. I'm ok with companies telling me if the project is not for them; I'm just really disappointed that they never paid me the courtesy of giving me an update either way because I have now wasted 45 days waiting for a quote when I could have been getting on with fixing my house.
