I like the mango pineapple refresher. It was delicious. The macarons weren't bad either. I came around 4pm and their available supply was low but I enjoyed what I had. The pistachio one was delicious.

We finally made it back into Rooftop. My oldest wanted to try the new matcha series. It was pretty crowded this time. We ordered the Banana Bread Vietnamese Coffee, Banana Bread Matcha and the new Earl Grey Matcha. My youngest wanted a MACamisu. As always, the drinks were amazing. The MACamisu was so good I stole half of it! Yum!

I've been here many times and I love this place. They have a new matcha menu now which I'm happy about. I tried their matcha latte, double matcha and banana matcha. Their drinks are so good. They have so many wide variety of drinks, macaroons, desserts and even gelato. They have plenty of tables and free wifi. I actually see a lot of students come here to study. The place is cozy and they get you the drinks pretty fast. However, their 16 oz is now $6.00 and their 20 oz is $7.90. So pricey for drinks!

I purchased the lunar new years theme macarons box. I didn't open it until I was at a dinner party just to realize the left ear of the horse was broken. This box was not cheap and the fact that they still sold the broken macaron shows that they do not care about quality. I'm sure the owners know that this broken ear on the horse especially on lunar new years can symbolize negative or bad luck. So shame on them.

Another great experience!! you definitely have to try their happy hour menu Wednesday at 3 PM is the best time to go. You get a milk tea and your choice of a macaroon for six dollars! The service is always good and there's plenty of seating area if you'd like to hang out for a while! There are so many flavors of macaroons and I couldn't tell you a favorite. I've loved them all!!

I saw their Lunar New Year Macaron Set on Instagram and had to order. This was easily accomplished over the phone and paid via Venmo. Today, I picked them up and I've only had the Thai Tea so far and it was very good. I paid $70 total for two sets so they are a little spendy but I think it was totally worth it. As you will see in the pictures they are meticulously decorated and cute as ever. While I was waiting, I decided to order an banana bread matcha and it was delicious. You could taste the banana but it wasn't overwhelming with just enough sweetness. I was there when they first opened so there was ample parking in the lot. When you walked in, the space was very inviting with plenty of seating and just chill vibe. Well worth the try.

Cute cafe vibes upon entry greeted by a warm welcome from Ella the sweet employee behind the counter. Case on display of their Mac choices, Macmisu (Mac's and tiramisu) desserts and gelato selection. Menu looks great with so many options to choose from! Ordered a Matcha Banana Bread and Matcha Ube Cloud to taste- both so very delicious. You can tell they use quality matcha (ceremonial) and nugget ice. Will come back to try others guaranteed!!

The place was very spacious and plenty of seating to go around. The decor was pretty cute and suitable for the type of place it is and wasn't too over the top like some other places are. The staff were approachable and the wait time for my drink wasnt too long. The amount of drinks was surprising an i ended up getting the salted earl grey matcha latte which was so good i ordered a second and in a larger size. Granted i tasted more earl grey than the matcha but either way i got a second drink. I also got a nutella s'mores macaroon which was a pretty good size and the balance of flavors was on point and not too sweet. I ordered the s'mores, strawberry matcha, pistachio and ube marshmellow for my treat home. Next time im in the area ill try a different drink

We were in the area running errands and I had to stop in to grab a coffee. I love their toasted coconut drink and always order it when I stop in. There is a parking lot in the business plaza, but it can fill up during peak hours. The spots can be a bit tight too. The shop is open and welcoming and there are plenty of seats available if you'd like to hang out for a while and enjoy your treats there. They have a wide variety of drinks including coffee, teas, matcha, and so many flavor combinations. They also offer ice cream, macarons, macamisu (a tiramisu x macaron creation), and cheesecake options. You can also place custom orders if you have a special occasion. I'm always happy with my experience and treats when I stop in!

I'm a sucker for anything banana! So to hear that this location has specialized in it, I had to try. I was hoping to order their banana cream pie matcha, but that was only available on a weekend. So I opted for their banana flavored coffee. To my surprise, it tasted like a real banana! Not the imitation banana you think of when trying banana items. I was so shocked and delighted because they have perfected this. I also ordered the macarons. Nice size and I believe for what it's worth, is worth it. Definitely will be back.

Although I am not a big fan of macaroons, I saw the coffee menu at this spot on Yelp and wanted to check it out. I'm so happy I went because they have a large selection of coffee and teas. They even serve Gelato as a dessert alternative. I ordered the Banana Bread Latte and it was delicious. I have never had a BBL before and I've totally been missing out. The location has accessible parking and has a large seating area inside which is always nice. The staff was patient with us while we were reviewing the menu.

Popped in on Monday at 3pm. Parking was plenty, spacious inside. Interior decor was nice, music was good. Lots of seating. Plenty of menu items to choose from. I ordered a Latte Matcha and a pistachio macaron. Latte Matcha was nice and light. The pistachio macaron was good. I would visit again.

This was my second attempt at trying this shop. A few days ago, I stopped by around 5:26 PM, well before their 6 PM closing time. I went in hoping to order two specific drinks, but the staff told me they had already started cleaning and could no longer make them. Since there was still about 30 minutes left before closing, it felt a bit unreasonable to stop service that early. I was pretty disappointed, so my friend and I ended up leaving. I came back today to give it another try since I really wanted to try a specific drink. I finally ordered the Biscoff latte along with a cheesecake bite, which came out to $11. Unfortunately, the cheesecake was very dense and broke apart when I bit into it. I only had a couple of bites before tossing it--not really my favorite. As for the drink, it was extremely bitter--so strong that I couldn't get past a few sips. I ended up asking if they could dilute it, and thankfully, the staff member was kind enough to give me a cup of milk so I could adjust it myself without wasting the coffee. I really appreciated that gesture. She also explained that their coffee is Vietnamese-style, which makes sense. I've had Vietnamese coffee before and personally find it too strong for my taste, so ordering it without realizing that wasn't the best choice on my part. On a positive note, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, which made it a nice place to sit while I tried to fix my drink.

Closest thing to just regular iced coffee : marble coffee with very light condensed milk .

The best macarons I have ever tried! I don't really get macarons for myself, but I tried the birthday cake flavor at work and I was hooked. Immediately I knew I had to order! The next day I put my order in through IG dm and they were so quick to respond! I ordered 4 birthday cake, 4 Oreo, & 4 Creme brulee. All 4 was so good, honestly I can't choose between the birthday cake and Creme brulee, mmm!! My whole family actually loved it and we killed the box immediately. I noticed that they are making durian flavor as well!! I need to try that one soon, since I love durian so so much! Please don't hesitate to buy & I can't wait for the actual store to open!! Macarons are fluffy, filled, & generous with the fillings as well. read more

I've been purchasing Rooftop Macarons for several Weddings, Birthday parties, Mother's Day, Personally, Just Because...any reasons to eat macarons and I keep coming back to Rooftop. They provide above and beyond service and their macarons are never a disappointment. I follow them on IG and they also donated thousands of macarons during the COVID-19 to frontline all around California. Rooftop macarons are flavorful, thick and rich. Not only do these macarons taste so good, come in all kind of flavors, they are not overly sweet. The texture of the macaron itself is light and chewy and the filling is always on point and never overly sweet..as you take each bite of the macaron, you can taste each flavor of whatever macaron you happened to be eating. I've tried quite a few flavors and I have not been disappointed. Rooftop offers quite a variety of flavors, so there is something for everyone! And makes it worthwhile to keep coming back here for more. And I thank them for always providing excellent customer service!!! All were bomb diggity and amazing. =) And I love that they're always offering new flavors, which I always want to get it in my belly =) read more

My coworkers sent me subliminal messages through their IG stories and I had to try them out! Well, I ordered and brought them home , left for a very quick errand and the entire box of 12 was gone !!! This place totally meet the hype. We ordered Toasted coconut coffee and a bunch of macarons....awesome. I was a long time follower of her on IG, as many other people I followed would recommend and use her services. I always enjoyed seeing her use of specialty Asian flavors, so when a special occasion came up, it was just the perfect thing to order! I ordered the durian macarons and cookies, definitely not your standard flavors! Response and payment was quick and easy. My new favorite dessert spot. I come here often for their macarons and teas. Everything is absolutely delicious. I am so glad that they opened a permanent location. Best macaroons I've ever had! Customer service was great sorry I didn't take photos ! We got an assortment of macaroons but what stole the show were the tiramisus. The classic was good but the pistachio was GREAT! The tiramisus have macaroons on the inside and it was a lovely surprise. My sisters ordered these beautiful and delicious unicorn macaroons. They were decorated so beautifully, truly impressive and so talented. The flavors we ordered were vanilla bean and strawberry. They were just as delicious as they were beautiful. My sisters who placed the order said the owner was so professional and friendly. Bought a dozen, three of each of Lemon Raspberry, Blueberry Cheesecake and Salted Caramel. The freshness, texture and moistness of the shells are amazing. The taste of the fillings are distinctively unique and different, plus the quantity is twice as much as their competitors in Sacramento and San Francisco. I now know the difference between Italian and French macarons. For me, Rooftop's Italian macarons are the best! read more

If you like macaroons and coffee this is the place to go if you're in Sacramento. The macaroons are SO GOOD, we got a dozen and they all tasted YUMMYY!! As for the coffee I am absolutely in love with their Durian Matcha Latte. Saving the best for last is their MACamisu, I ordered the Ube and Durian, OMG DELISHH. You need to get yourself some ASAP. read more

I came here because of the great reviews but I don't see what the hype is about. When I walked in the person working the front didn't bother to say anything and looked as if she was irritated that I was there. I bought a dozen macrons and it looked pretty but it tasted really stale like it was sitting there all day. And I came around the afternoon so it wasn't too late in the day. Even store bought macrons tasted more fresh than this place. I also ordered a Thai Tea drink that had no flavor and just tasted like half and half. read more

Good macaroons, wait a little bit before you eat them because the shell is still stiff from being refrigerated. The black sesame latte was so good and not too sweet! I'm glad the flavor of the black sesame latte wasn't watery or too bland, but this place did it right! I'm sad it's far away from my current location because I would always go there. read more

I haven't tried their coffee. Went in and asked what their most popular tea is, and the cashier recommended the passion fruit tea. It was just okay like everywhere else. The macaroon I had was really sweet. It could be made from high quality ingredients l, but I think I'm just gonna stick with my grocery stores macaroons (I only eat macaroons once in a while anyway)- cheaper and taste better. read more

I came across Rooftop Macarons after reading Yelp reviews after an extensive search didn't yield desirable results in my city. I had family visiting Sacramento for a day trip and decided to jump board to see what made Rooftop Macarons a five-star. By no means am I a macaron expert but, similar to many, I've had my fair share of these delectable goodies. Let's start with customer service: communication and ordering was swift. Fortunately, most of the flavors that I wanted was in stock so my order was fulfilled in less than an hour. Although, I was charged extra for the pistachio macarons after I had already paid. The macarons were neatly presented. And I can see why Rooftop Macarons is a favorite: sizing is on point, shells were smooth, feet were clean, and filling ratio is balanced. The flavor was great for the first two, but the salted caramel needed a tad smidge of salt as the caramel was overpowering. The downside of this is that parking is absolutely terrible, so I ended up parking four or five blocks away.

Good price and good quality drinks. I will say this complex gets super busy. Make sure to not rush and take your time to find a spot. You can also walk to it from Sacramento zoo. Its super close. Might be better than trying to find a parking spot. Its not too loud in there. So you can chat with your fitness or go on a side quest after a date.

For years, I've been a loyal patron of this coffee shop, enchanted by its delightful brews. However, my recent experiences have left me with a bitter aftertaste, compelling me to bid farewell to a once-beloved haunt. During my last two visits, the service plummeted to an all-time low. Despite placing a specific order for a durian matcha latte and a coconut latte over the phone they got it wrong. Instead of receiving what I requested, they mistakenly prepared two coconut lattes, and worse, failed to craft the promised green latte. Their solution? A plain green tea latte hastily thrown together after a prolonged wait, a display of incompetence that was hard to swallow. To add insult to injury, the staff's demeanor was nothing short of appalling. When my husband attempted to settle the bill, they made no effort to rectify their mistake. Instead, they snatched it from him and threw it in the trash. This mistreatment wasn't an isolated incident. On a prior visit, I endured an inexplicable 25-minute wait for two drinks, despite being the sole customer in sight. The contrast between the excellence of their beverages and the disrespect of their service is stark, rendering any sip of their coffee now tainted by disappointment. While their drinks may still boast their former greatness, the utter lack of respect and professionalism exhibited by the staff is simply intolerable. Regrettably, I can no longer justify subjecting myself to such treatment for the sake of a good cup of coffee. Farewell to what was once a cherished coffee sanctuary. read more

I recently visited Rooftop Macarons and was blown away by the quality of their drinks and macarons. The Matcha Dream was a standout, with its unique blend of jasmine milk and tiramisu matcha foam that added a layer of complexity to the drink. Love the vibes of this place! There is plenty of seating inside and very spacious. I ordered their Ube Egg Coffee and loved how creamy and strong the drink was. The ube flavor was perfect and it was the perfect amount of sweetness. I was able to order their special box for the playoffs for $35 and was a little disappointed with the macarons. The employees recommended me to let it sit out 15-20 minutes before serving and I followed their instructions but the macarons were super hard to bite and were not softer to bite and chewy. I came here before for their macarons and they were fine, but I feel like their macarons are inconsistent because these were so hard to bite into even though I bought and ate the day of purchase. I liked the flavors of the fillings, but just had a bad experience with the cookies itself. read more

Honestly the best macarons I've ever had!!! They have a really nice texture and a good chewy crust. I usually hate buttercream however in these macarons the buttercream is so good. Theres just enough cream to cookie ratio so its not super sweet. I absolutely love rooftop macarons and I have finally gotten the chance to try their drinks. I originally wanted to try her Rooftop Marble Coffee, but instead went for her Thai milk tea because my favorite flavor macaron is their Thai tea. The Thai tea macaron never disappointed me so I had high hopes, and the drink did not disappoint me either. I believe this is one of the best Thai Teas I've had. I cant wait to try the other drinks next time. I recommend you give their dessert and drinks a try! My favorite flavors are Thai tea, Cookies and cream, and fruity pebbles. read more

Rooftop Macarons is an absolute delight! I recently tried the Nutella macaron, almond butter macaron, and cheesecake, and each treat was more incredible than the last. The Nutella macaron had the perfect balance of creamy and crunchy, with just the right amount of Nutella filling that melted in your mouth. The almond butter macaron was rich and nutty, with a smooth, indulgent filling that was simply delicious. And the cheesecake--wow! It was perfectly creamy with a smooth, velvety texture and just the right amount of sweetness. Everything was made with such attention to detail, and the flavors were outstanding. The presentation was beautiful, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. If you're a fan of macarons or just love indulging in incredible desserts, Rooftop Macarons is a must-visit. Rooftop Macarons is a gem in Elk Grove for coffee and sweet treats. The macarons are the star - fresh with unique flavors that stand out. I tried the tiramisu latte and it hit the spot. The staff were friendly, which always makes a difference. Came on a Sunday morning and found it to be a perfect study spot. Quiet atmosphere, plenty of seating, and even chargers available. I always have a great experience when I come to Rooftop Macarons. Staff is friendly and quick. There is lots of seating for studying + free WiFi. Drinks are YUMMY and they're always coming out with new drink flavors which is exciting. I got the Mango Sticky Rice Matcha and it was so so good. Coconut crème tastes just like the one you get for the dessert. My go-to is the Strawberry Cream Matcha and is 10/10 every time! read more

Definitely the best macarons I've had! After trying some that were donated to the hospital, I had to repurchase again. They were so soft and were the perfect sweetness.
