I've been meaning to come to this Deluna location for a while and finally got to try it. Order at the kiosk. There were about 5 people/parties ahead of me. It took half an hour after putting in my order for it to be ready. I went with the Original Milk Bingsoo. They have four bingsoo options, plus a combo of two of their flavors (half strawberry, half mango) on the kiosk menu. They also have a variety of drink options and some pastry items in the case, although I realized I didn't pay any attention to what was in there; my focus was the bingsoo. The bingsoo was good, the only thing I didn't like was the mochi was pretty hard. Great serving size and easy to share with another; I definitely wouldn't be able to finish it myself. Bright, open interior. A few plants throughout. Could probably use a few more tables inside. There was a couple seats available after I ordered, but the tables were taken. The tables did clear out by the time my order was out though. They keep it pretty cool inside, I had goosebumps by the time I was done with my bingsoo. There is limited interaction with the staff, but the person who called my order waited for me to walk to the counter to grab my order after calling my name and number and greeted me with a smile. I've been eyeing Deluna, but haven't had a chance to check out the original Natomas location. The interior here is spacious, but sparse. I ordered on the kiosk and went with the 1/2 strawberry and 1/2 mango bingsoo. It came with a small cup of condensed milk. I liked the fruits on top. The texture of the shaved ice could be smoother though. Overall, a nice cold treat to help you cool off from the summer heat. read more

I've been running through all the different boba spots in Sac recently, and Deluna has managed to stand out. Their Strawberry Peach Iced Tea with boba at 50% sweetness tastes excellent with a uniquely peachy aftertaste to it. For ~$7.25 after tax, the drink punches well above its weight. My only recommendation is cutting down the strawberries into smaller chunks; they look appealing on the outside but don't contribute as much to the flavor as the peach does. Also, it would be neat to have strawberry bits small enough to sip on. Bonus points for the minimalistic zen atmosphere. I can tell that this place wants to resemble more of a break stop with a bakery rather than a boba shop, which makes sense given that they sell a wide variety of desserts. Stopped by on a whim while craving a sweet treat since this spot was close and local. The interior was very clean with modern decor, though it was empty when we visited (later in the evening in December). We shared the Original Milk Bingsoo. The bingsoo itself was solid, with a good amount of red bean, but we found the ice cream on top to be a bit too sweet for our taste. I stumbled upon this place on a rainy day, business was slow, but my sister's been to the other location and she loved it. The menu here is much more limited than the other location, and this location is much smaller as well. It's pretty quiet, so it would be a great place for studying! I ordered the melona milk tea, with 70% sugar and added honey boba. I honestly could've done a 100% for sweetness because I felt like it wasn't sweet enough? Or maybe the flavor wasn't as strong as I would like? The boba was okay! Didn't hate it, but didn't love it. Deluna is always a good choice if you're looking for delicious desserts. My girlfriend and I had to try their bingsoo, which is shaved milk snow, topped with fruits and fruit drizzle. We went with a 50/50 bingsoo, which includes both strawberry and mango. This one had a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a side of condensed milk. Very tasty and portions were massive! Honestly seems like it's a Costco croissant with black sesame paste baked on top, leading to the dryness My friends ordered 2 drinks and they both rated it as average, 3/5 The mango bingsoo was also ok. I agree with another review that suggests doubling up on condensed milk or syrup when you order! Yummy!! We got the mango bingsoo which had only 1 size and came out to be $14. Pretty average price for the size that you get. It's definitely shareable so you can split between 2-3 people. The mango was crunchy and shaved ice was light and sweet. The service was average with only one worker but they treated us well and I don't really have any complaints. There were a couple tables to sit and I can definitely see myself catching up with my friends here. I am a big matcha lover and so I wanted to try the matcha latte and I was SHOCKED when I got my drink. It had great matcha to milk ratio and my drink was bright green after mixing. I knew when I got it that it was going to be good. You get a good amount and it's perfectly sweeten. Minimalist decor, still have so much space to add more tables. It's nice they let you order half and half but I think this is only for mango and strawberry. My order was mango bingsoo, and it was good. Seems like they add something to the mango so when you eat the bingsoo, it already taste sweet, just a tad, even without the condensed milk. The ice cream on top was a nice touch. There were lumps of ice in my bowl when I was about to finish, have mot seen one from other desseet places. But I dont mind as it wasn't that much. Deluna just opened this second location a few days ago. Right now there is a soft opening menu, but they will expand in time. The interior is sparse- I have a feeling this will be filled in as the business gets going, and everything is super clean. The space is very large for a milk tea/dessert place, it can accommodate quite a few people. I ordered a black milk tea with boba, my go to when first trying out a place (must do the basics first!) I received a very well mixed milk tea with perfect boba balls! Chewy, not too sweet and delicious. The milk tea was very light, not a very strong tea flavor, however if that is how you like it you will love the black milk tea. I would prefer it stronger, and will try a few other teas. The person helping me was super sweet and enthusiastic, and I really want them to thrive in this new location, so I will definitely come back again in a few weeks! read more

Does not compare to the Natomas location, unfortunately. They're still in soft opening like 6 months after opening, so have a very limited menu. Not sure when they'll finally have their grand opening and full menu. Drinks aren't as good either. I keep coming back when in the area, but I'm honestly not really sure why because I'm often disappointed. Their jasmine milk tea is my fav place to get it and usually it's pretty good, but not always consistent. the fruit teas are lacking. They are too light in flavor, guess I should get extra sweet. Also, for less ice, it still seems like quite a bit of ice. Viet coffee is different.. def not as strong as other places, but still pretty good. Service is slow because they usually only have one person working. Not sure why they won't hire more people, esp to help on weekends. I wanna give more stars, but they need to step it up. read more

The interior for this place is all white, not sure if that's the theme they were going for, or they aren't fully furnished and rush to open. There were four small tables and lots of open space. Service was prompt. We were greeted right away and order was taken swiftly. We only ordered the bingsu because I had a boba drink the other night. Bingsu is not as good as I remembered. Easy parking in a big shopping plaza. I have been looking up places for patbingsoo and this place totally hit the spot!! We came as a big group of 10+ so we got the matcha, mango, and strawberry ones. One of my favorite things was the shaved ice part in the matcha one, it's very refreshing especially as it starts melting into a liquid form. The condensed milk side - is very sweet, too sweet for my taste so next time lll just skip adding it. I thought I'd like the mango or berry ones more, but I liked the matcha one the most. So so good! My daughter and I shared a shaved ice with mango and mochi toppings, and there was plenty for both of us. Because it was so good, though, we plan to each get our own next time =) It was airy, soft, not overly sweet. I can't wait to try the matcha tea drinks. I had looked on safari for a boba place and this one popped up. Once I arrive it had a lot of open space you can tell it was new there was some sitting places. It looks family run because there was 2 little girls working. One looked 6/7 and the other looked like 11/12 and pop/mom. The 6/7 year old was preparing my drink which I thought ok great learning experience. Dad took over and finished the rest. (He had to modified what she had forgotten to do) so I don't think it's best to have young children preparing orders. Taking orders maybe but not preparing. The drink was good. Wish the cup wasn't so long and skinny/fancy but an actual regular size boba cup would have been fine. Updated- Owner sent me a personal message giving his personal reasons why my experience might have been neutral and asked if my review can be taken down. I've been to the Natomas location and was super excited to try this one out. I was unaware when I went that they were still in their soft opening, so they didn't have the drink selection that I love about the other location. My drink took a long time to come out and was way sweeter than expected despite being ordered at half sweet. The interior also only has seating in the front half of the store, not the back, which seems like a waste of space, and I don't think they had the AC on as it was super hot in there. I'll be back in a few months to see if they can get over the growing pains of opening a new store. read more

Yesterday, while We were waiting for our car to be smogged we decided to go grab bottles of water when we discovered Deluna in the shopping center. Me being the Matcha enthusiast that I am, I decided to try their Strawberry Matcha Latte with whole milk and 25% sweetness. It was perfect! I often find that a lot of the establishments that sell matcha make them really powdery. This place doesn't and I was pleasantly surprised. If only this was in Elk Grove where we usually shop at but I don't mind making the drive occasionally. The service was great. The guy who helped me explained what an item was when I asked him. Right now it's a limited menu because of the soft opening status. Our drinks were made timely and the staff were nice enough to bring them directly to us. Upon taking the first sip, I found that I love the Melona flavor, it was spot on. However I was a little disappointed in the flavor of the boba. It was a great consistency, soft and chewy, but I didn't taste brown sugar at all. I also wish they had the logo on their cups.
