So happy I finally caught a movie in this space. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The space was super cute with small tables, pretty comfortable chairs and the night sky.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There's a bar code set up on each table for all to order additional food items and wine if they choose. Aside from the two slices of pizza we each received, we went with a bottle of Saratoga water, prosciutto and their cheese and crackers. These additions came out in a nice basket, along with glasses for drinking. Service was great and super friendly. Would definitely recommend for date night or with a small group of friends. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Only down side was the volume not being very loud for us sitting in the back.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] No issue with parking- you can safely leave your car in the lot attached to wegmans (per the security guard) and proceed to walk in about two minutes to the building. **** walk up only If you require an elevator, please call ahead

Came for a wine and cheese tasting here and it was so fun! We tried 4 different NY wines and 4 different NY cheeses and I must say, I now have new favorite cheeses and wines! We even ended up buying a bottle of a rose - it was that good lol. It was great to learn more about NY viticulture, I have even more respect for wine making now! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The rooftop was absolutely amazing. They grow grapes right on the roof (the only urban rooftop vineyard in the states!).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely be coming back sometime to try more wines and soak in these great vibes. Quick side note! Transportation is a bit tricky here! The closest train station is the York st F station and the C station is also a 15 minute walk away. Also, to get to the rooftop, you have to enter through the navy yard entrance which requires going past a security station- they have more info on how to get in on their website though, so make sure to check that out before your visit!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Rooftop Reds is a gem, hidden away in the Navy Yard, with lovely views and amazing staff.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We went to a Wine and Cheese pairing and it was fabulous. Rick the sommelier was amazing. He was knowledgeable, engaging and witty. He went into so much detail, we were enchanted. He told us he will have a chocolate pairing in September. Can't wait! The wines are great and they have cocktails and froze! Can't ask for anything else.

We really enjoyed this winery! They really tried to give it a winery feel even though you're on a rooftop in Brooklyn. The view was beautiful and they also had hammocks you can use. They had a wide variety of wines available, I got the traminette which was delicious, we ended up getting a carafe of it which was good for the 4 of us. They also had an option to get pizza from Il Porto which was convenient. You just order through the restaurant and tell them where you are on the rooftop and the pizza is delivered to you. We got the Bianca and the Margherita which were delicious (the Margherita was our favorite though). The only weird thing about this winery was you have to scan the QR code with your reservation to get into the industrial park and it can be a long walk if you don't park inside. Also there are around 5 flights of stairs to get to the rooftop - we weren't sure if they had an elevator. But they gave us water and chips right when we walked in which was nice

When the weather is nice this is a great place for a date or group fun. I came here with a friend and had a lovely time. The only complaint is there is no elevator, so you have to do the steps. BE WARNED on a hot day you will need water lol Once up there it's a cute space with great views of the city line and BK. They do not serve food but u can get.food delivered to your table which is nice. Overall it's something very cute to try on a beautiful day in Bk.

Really unique take on a vineyard, bringing a slice of rural New York (i.e., the north fork of Long Island) smack into the heart of Brooklyn. Rooftop Reds is inside the Brooklyn navy yard, so you'll have a bit of a walk from the gates to the actual building. There are also five flights of stairs (elevator use is strictly prohibited), so get ready for a mini-leg workout getting to the venue. Don't worry; the business provides step-by-step directions when you purchase tickets for entry. Once at the rooftop, it's a fun, quirky setup. You're right next to the actual vines where grapes are grown, which is pretty cool. It's mostly picnic-table seating, under some tarps to provide shade. And there are some killer views of downtown Brooklyn. The wines were okay, there was a nice menu with maybe 15+ choices, mostly by the glass. Of the white and the red that we tried, neither was especially noteworthy, but also not bad. They also partner with a nearby pizzeria if you want something substantial to eat. The ordering process was a little funky, but when the pizza finally arrived, it was pretty good. This was definitely a fun trip for the uniqueness of the location, and the drinks in a laid back setting with nice views. Come if you're looking for something fun to try, but don't expect mind-blowing food or drink. Also, I'd recommend coming in the evening so that the sun isn't beating down on you (even with the tarps).

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cool rooftop wine bar/winery with hammocks, long tables, and the like to soak in the view.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Saturday evening, got a reservation for two which comes with a timed stay (ends around 830ish). Started off with a glass of the Sweater Weather ($13) - a chilled red wine that's perfect for a warm night. Once you get your drink, you can walk around and enjoy the scenery and hammocks. Food wise, everything is prepackaged - so you have to keep expectations low (unless you get the pizza). Decided on the Cheddar and Crackers ($10). A solid wedge of cheese served in a nice little basket with a knife for cutting, as well as some rosemary crackers. Fine to pair with the wine, though just a lot of a single cheese. Ended with the Skin Contact Red ($18) just to see what that would be. They mention notes of green tea which actually do come through at the end. Service can take some time here as only one guy was serving all the tables (definitely need one more person). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Rounded up because pricing is decent and the ambiance is great.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

So I came here for a friends birthday, and this was a really interesting winery. You have to reserve tickets beforehand, and you have a 3 hour time slot. They don't really enforce it, which is nice! Once you enter they give you a box of water and a bag of potato chips. My friends and I each tried a different wine flight, and they were all good. They offer a few snacks and if you had pizza, you have to call them and order it. It's not the easiest place to find, we ended up meeting two other groups of people trying to find this spot. So give yourself an extra 15 minutes or so to find this spot.

Came here as I saw this on my IG. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Had a great time and you get stunning views of the city.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordered flights of wine and they were pretty good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have vines with grapes throughout the rooftop with cornhole and hammocks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Downside is there is no elevator and you have to walk like 5 flights of stairs.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The reason I give it 4 stars is because we ordered 2 boxes of pizza from the downstairs place and we went to play cornhole and they THREW OUT THE REST (there was 1 full box left). Was very upset and they just offered to try and find it in the back but was not trying to get someone else's pizza. They just apologized, didn't offer to pay for it or discount drinks.

NYC Unique Experience [[HIGHLIGHT]]The only NYC rooftop vineyard is absolutely iconic and unique.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]It offers sunset happy hour with generous view.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The $20 ticket include a glass of wine (4 options) and one boxed water. [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can relax in the hammock or play some fun games.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had a fabulous time with my friend here. $20 & book exclusively from @bucketlisters Building 275, 63 Flushing Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11201 #rooftoprestaurant #rooftopreds #rooftopredsbro

Overall rating: 3.4 Um I can't figure this place out. I know for a fact I went during the wrong month because there were no vineyards. But the reservation process, the lack of directions plus no food was rough. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm not sure if I would consider this a roof vineyard which is how it is marketed to me on every tiktok, but... it was an experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not my vibe for the commute & a lot of confusion.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I might try again when I figure out when wine season is.. for now, I don't recommend if you're trying to live out an east coast vineyard experience.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is my favorite rooftop in NYC! It's just so fun and a totally different environment than other rooftops you'll find in the city.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have hammocks and games, you can really spend a good amount of time there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Not to mention the wine is decent, and they have a variety of flights, with impeccable views of the city on a nice day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The only thing about this place that is super frustrating is the way they do reservations. It's honestly the only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars. When I went here pre pandemic you could come and go whenever and there was no cover charge. Now they have this super bizarre thing where you have to make a reservation that's $15 per person in particular time windows, and there's about an hour between time windows that you can't go. So it makes going there requiring more planning than what feels necessary for going to a rooftop, and the cover charge is annoying, especially when there didn't used to be one. But even with the bizarre reservations and cover charge it's really worth going! I have been meaning to go to one of their movie nights because they look so fun, I'll definitely be back :)

It's $15+tx to get in. They give u a bag of chips n carton on water. If you a lucky the elevator guy will take you to 3rd floor then you walk up one more floor to the roof. Otherwise you'll have to take the stairs to the roof. They made me wash my hands in a sink near the entrance but let others behind me just go wo washing hands. I felt profiled! The views are amazing, people seemed happy bc they are probably drunk It was sunny so the server offered sun screen which was a nice touch. The bubbly rosé was nice n dry n crisp. I also tried the rosé flight n it was nice. Make sure you eat before you go bc I think there's a wait for the pizza, we waited 90 min. While you wait you can walk around the rooftop. The views are amazing. There's a game thingy where you throw a sack in the hole, which I can't remember the name of the game. The serves were attentive n friendly. It's a cool thing to support local. They have a sister vineyard in Fingerlakes upstate NY. I gave 3 stars bc of cover charge, delay on food Service. N the roof top did not look as nice as the website photos. But it's a great way to sorbs an afternoon on a sunny day.

Ask the Community - Rooftop Reds

Hi im planning on coming later today around 4 wondering how does it work here? Do i need reservations or a table. Is there food available here?

Please make a reservation via the website.

Is there an elevator, or the only option up is stairs?

There is a cargo elevator but you cannot use it. You must take the stairs to the top

Is there parking in front of the building?

I parked inside in front of the building but if you want to drink kind of sucks to drive.

The pictures make it look like there isn't much cover or shade. If it's hot and sunny (like it is this weekend) is this place maybe a poor choice?

Correct. It would be very uncomfortable in the mid day sun.

I want to celebrate my birthday here what kind of food options they have in looking into a Saturday evening?

They had an Italian meat sandwich & a chicken salad sandwich. I ate the Kirkland brand hummus with a small pretzel type of chip. My wife ordered some plain potato chips.

    Is the rooftop dog friendly?

    No it is not.

Does anyone know if they bring in heaters when it gets colder out?

I believe they do. When i was there , one of my other friends told me that they do bring out the heaters. They have to if they need to keep their business running.

Do they play music? Or can I bring a speaker?

    They play music.

Any one else unable to make a reservation to visit and sees "sale ended"?

Good morning 😃🌞☀️ you should be able to make same day reservations, if not please call the business, the owner is helpful and accommodating.

On Weekends do we have to adhere to our specific reservation time, or can we come at another time?

It's pretty chill it seems, they didn't even ask for our reservation when we came. Keep in mind we came in the morning time though.

I see you have to make a reservation to go is there a reason? Do thy sell wine when you are up there? The website is kind of vague..?

We all were informed beforehand to bring our own mats and towels as these would not be provided. The yoga sessions are run by different yoga companies and the one I attended was by Sputnik Yoga and was a silent headphone yoga session. We each were provided, free of charge, headphones to wear during class. This was my first time attending a session like this but had a blast! The headphones took a bit getting used to, but I loved that you could clearly hear the teacher during the class. They also played some cool music while helping to block out all other sounds. This really helped me focus on the movement and the instructions. The class was an open level Vinyasa but the movements and flow were slightly advance. It was quite a workout and I was sweaty by the end. After class, we were each given wipes to sanitize the headphones and our mats. Then we all took selfies in this beautiful space and one final group picture, which they posted on their Instagram account. This was by far the coolest yoga class I've ever taken.
