She worked everything out! I was greeted at the entrance of the brand new building and filled out an intake form with preferences for pressure, avoidance areas, favorite beverages, etc. Afterwards, they took me back to the dressing/locker room where I had a locker waiting for me with my name hanging on it, along with a fluffy robe and spa sandals. Once changed, they take you down to the quiet room where you can start with a complimentary beverage (I opted to save my wine for after the massage since it was 8:45am) and decompress. Kayla greeted me at the door, took me back to the room, turned on the heated tabletop and we began! She was absolutely phenomenal - wonderful pressure with just the right amount of discomfort that I truly needed to get those knots worked out. After a luxurious 80 minutes, we were done. Kayla met me at the door after I dressed with a glass of spa water and a glass of red wine. I relaxed in the quiet room for another half hour before taking my sleepy, loose self back up to the locker room to change out. The only issue I came across was due to the room I was in having a false wall. There was another client who was quite loud during her treatment which definitely took me out of the relaxed vibe for the last half of my massage. But of course, it was less than 24hours so I was told they would charge me 50%. So I asked if she preferred I come in sick and expose her staff. She said it was policy. And there was no changing policy. Fine. I angrily hung up but called back less than ten minutes later and said I would come in. She said no. That she had already cancelled my appointment. I repeatedly asked for my appointment back but she refused. And when I checked my credit card. They had charged me $89. But my services were supposed to be $149. And half of $149 is not $89. Check the math. So I then texted them and said that I had a gift card and they should credit my credit card for the $89 and I gave them the number from my gift card to charge my $75.50 cancellation to. And they will not respond. So I guess I will just buy their products on-line because I will never enter their spa. Hope their products are better than their customer service.
