Very nice gift shop located in the little Village. Lots of fantastic items to select from for your home, you can tell the proprietor takes care when selecting merchandise here. I love that they have Seattle Chocolate bars! There is also a clearance area in the back in case you want to peruse those treasures. Candles, body lotions, wash, culinary food items, everything but the kitchen sink! The service was friendly. Respectfully Reviewed. read more

What a perfectly perfect little store in the village. When you first walk in, you're overwhelmed with just a sense of comfort and serenity. I didn't see any of her wonderful candles burning so whatever her trick is, I'm impressed! So many beautifully selected home goods pieces from pillows to frames, wonderful jams, books, paintings, candleholders, mugs, plates, lotions, a cornucopia of candles! I walked out with a Voluspa because those are my absolute favorite candles. You can tell she takes a lot of pride in her store and it really shows. I love me a cute gift shop and Room to Room was the boutique shop of my dreams. What a magical little wonderland they've curated in here! They had discounted Halloween items up front that I could spy from the sidewalk that managed to lure me in. Who doesn't love a sale? But once I stepped inside, I was so excited to see all the cute goodies inside! They had the most extensive Jelllycat selection I've ever seen in one place. If you haven't heard of this brand, they make the softest stuffed animals in every iteration you can think of. They're great as a baby shower gift! We oohed and aahed over the Jellycat display for a while. The employees must have palpably felt our Jelllycat excitement and came over to join in on the fandom. A pretty freakin' adorable little alien ended up coming home with us. If you're looking for some unique Christmas decorations, a gift for a friend or just want to treat yourself, look no further. Great selection of ornaments, baby gifts, etc and I spotted specialty food items in the back. I would consider this a must stop in Big Bear if you are in the mood for some retail therapy. It would be difficult to leave this store empty handed! read more

I absolutely love this cute shop at the Big Bear Village. It's a must stop for me every time I'm in Big Bear. I always find specialty items like these vinegars in my photos and delicious jams. They also have the cutest home decorations all over the shop. From candles to frames, kitchen towels to baby gifts. So many choices under one roof. So next time you are in town make this a stop. Stopped in here yesterday and had the best experience thanks to Bri. She was such a great saleswoman and introduced/recommended the best lotion called Camille Beckman. After just 24 hours my cracked fingers are finally healing and I've tried a handful of products to no avail. I'm so glad I went in here, Bri needs a raise! ;) Also she was right, I wish I would have stocked up on that lotion.... Side note: I was concerned with the ingredient listed as "fragrance" but after researching the brand they use naturally derived ingredients, made in USA, free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, petroleum byproducts, PEGs, TEA, DEA, mineral oil, or harsh detergents. I think this is my favorite store in Big Bear Village and one of my favorite gift shops I've ever been to. I have bought gifts here for others, lots of Stonewall Kitchen for myself, cards, candles, and most recently books for my nieces. Our experience was wonderful at this local store in Big Bear Lake! My husband and I stopped by the store earlier this week. The shop is filled with a variety of different items from tasty treats to beautiful decor. It smelled absolutely amazing- I couldn't help but buy a few candles (some of which are now lit on my living room table). However, I am here to RAVE about the customer service. It was impeccable!! The blonde girl at the counter, my receipt says Devinne, was so sweet and accommodating! Though the store was quite busy, she was swift to help shoppers at the register. Not to mention, she was running back and fourth helping customers around the store!!! Thank you Devinne!!!! When I come back to Big Bear, I will definitely be stopping in again! read more

I was in this beautiful store over the weekend while visiting Big Bear Lake. Everything was so attractively put together and it smelled delightful! While I would love to rate it higher, I have to give two stars for my experience with an employee there. She did not have a name tag, but the girl with the accent was very pushy and forceful when speaking with me. I am used to getting upsold, however this was borderline harassment. She tried to get me to buy way more than I initially wanted and was overall dampening my experience shopping in the store. I felt very pressured and uncomfortable because of her. Charming is such an understatement of a word to describe this place. Whimsical, magical, very well thought out. Every corner reflects a different taste, color scheme, and sometimes even scent. They have an excellent selection of gifts that you would definitely love for a friend and most certainly want to receive as a gift yourself. I think that speaks a lot when you know that the chotkes in a store are of the useful desirable for even yourself type. Their selection of Voluspa candles is infinitesimal it seems. Have a stop in when your in town to find a different kind of souvenir. :) read more

A fun little shop in the village area. They have tons of cute little home decor accessories and gift items and it was a fun browse. I found some cute little glass-mosaic votive holders from India that I got for my sister for Christmas, and then I found this awesome snowshoe picture frame that was just what I was looking for to send to my husband's aunt and uncle in Minnesota as a thank you gift for having us up to their cabin on the lake. Some of their wares were kind of woodsy, which is fitting given the location, but they had a lot of other classy stuff too. And the help was very friendly and helpful. Oh and P.S. found this place on Yelp when I was looking for 4 and 5 star places to shop and eat and visit on our little mini-vacation. Hooray for Yelp! read more

What an adorable store! The selection of goods are just so unique and cute! Right when you walk in you smell the amazing candles they have and I was greeted with a warm "hello!" This was just the store I was hoping to find! I bought four wine glasses and they are by far my favorites. I always make sure to stop by Room to Room on my visits to Big Bear! They have a phenomenal eye with laying out their adorable merchandise in such beautiful ways. It's like walking into a gorgeous farm house shown on HGTV. I never know what to expect. You can also tell that they take a lot of care into choosing the most beautiful products. Beautiful items for the home and vacation rental. No minimum on cards. I always buy a fancy, pricey candle when we are staying in hotel or house rental, to make it have a smell you pick. I bought: VOLUSPA Flavor: Eden & Pear 8.99 on Sale for $4.00 Perfect I'm going back for the totally cute bear robe $22 for when you get out of the jacuzzi!!! Established in 1977.

Room to Room was purchased by the current owner in 1982. The inventory is kept at an absolute max to provide a wide range of selection for our customers, both in price, and type of item needed. We get new deliveries daily which provides for a new experience every time someone visits our store. We provide the most professional customer service available and make every attempt to get something for a customer if we do not currently have it in stock. We try to maintain a level of "shopping experience" that will make our customers come back due to our selection of merchandise, our beautiful music and store displays, our courtesy gift wrap on regularly priced items, and our friendly service. We have had great success putting these actions into place for 41 years. We are told on a daily basis, "Room to Room is my #1 shopping location when visiting Big Bear!" Our customer's loyalty is greatly appreciated!

When you've spent the day experiencing Big Bear's natural wonders; you can cap the day off in Big Bear Village. Big Bear Village is the charming tourist hub quarters of Big Bear where you will find the Big Bear Welcome Center, gift shops ranging from toys, crystals, beef jerky, leather and everything in between; bars and restaurants and even public restrooms. The village features all levels of dining from casual neighborhood eateries to elegant romance perfect for dates and holidays and is the ideal place to purchase Big Bear tourist merch and trinkets. Big Bear Village is perfectly walkable and offers a free public parking lot and street parking but beware that even in 'off-season' - it is busy as a bee hive! For those SoCal residents familiar with Solvang (near Santa Barbara) and Old Temecula; Big Bear Village is a similar esthetic. If you are a fan of bears, then Big Bear Village is your playground as it is filled with bear statues curbside on every corner, each and every shop seems to brand itself with a punny name referring to bears and there is bear imagery everywhere! Even though not in Big Bear Village; my favorite bear in the city is a bear statue dressed as a marshal at the Big Bear Superior Court. I am sure this is very intimating to the bear criminals! Big Bear Village is bear-y adorable and the ideal area for tourists to dine and shop. Note: Big Bear Village is not where you will find stores like Dollar Tree, Marshalls, Starbucks, Verizon, Vons etc; as these are in a different area at the east shore of the lake. I don't know if this is just towards tourists or simply the Big Bear way of life but everyone is so kind in Big Bear with amazing customer service! Employees are endlessly complimentary, friendly and guarantee a pleasant experience. We even met the kindest waitress, Janet, at nearby Benny's diner who told us her life story and is probably our friend forever now. This is certainly NOT Los Angeles! Big Bear Village is the tourist shopping/dining hub that will sure to be(ar) a delight to all tourists and is a must-see when in Big Bear. Be sure to take a photo with one of the bear statues: it is basically mandatory!

She said the other gloves were marked with the higher price, essentially acknowledging the error in their tagging of their merchandise. Considering I don't work there and didn't price tag their merchandise, it was really confusing why that was relevant. Also, this all begs the question of how many times they do this to their patrons? Is it company policy to price an item one thing and overcharge by 33% and hope no one notices? Just honor the price tag. Not difficult. You did it, not me. I'm a paying customer, who is in town regularly enough. I hope the $5 was worth it. You clearly needed it more than me. Bums.
