I brought in my all numbers matching 67 RS/SS Camaro to replace the flywheel ring gear. They were easy to book for appointment, were easy to adjust my appointment due to unforeseen conflict, and then got my classic repaired in no time. The work itself was great quality, but the mechanic even went a step further and insulated a couple of exposed wires without even mentioning it or any additional charge. That little gesture on top of the quality for the main work demonstrates the level of quality and care you seek in services. I met the owner who showed me around the shop, he was very personable and knowledgeable. They can work on everything from custom rods, to classic cars, to modern cars. These guys are polite, honest and do great work! I have trusted them with my 2012 Ram; 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle converable; and my 1964 Impala. My mechanic retired and I was in search of a new mechanic. I have a diesel and if you know anything about diesels they are not like basic gas vehicles. Few mechanics work on them and they are very expensive to fix. I heard about Roosevelt from a few friends and decided to bring my truck in. I spoke with the owner and told him my issue and what I thought it was. I also told him we were headed out for our annual family vacation in which I needed my truck by Friday. It was Tuesday and he said we will do what we can. I received a call Thursday it was complete and the invoice was much lower then I had anticipated. Here's my first experience at Roosevelt Auto Repair. First of all, I wanted to say how appreciative I am of Kevin, the owner (I believe) of the shop. Though the work I requested was just a simple brake job, he was very informative about the state of my brakes. He then gave me his professional opinion about what my options were and had them fixed later that day. I found it refreshing that he was honest in his communication and I never felt uncomfortable when discussing the work to be done. He definitely puts the customer above anything else and after experiencing mediocre service from other shops in town, I've decided that Roosevelt Auto Repair is where I'll be bringing all of my automotive business in the future. I took my car in for repair and upon finding out the cost, checked other repair shops on the same fix. I found they were $200 over the average on a $600 bill. When discussing it with the owner he started giving me the run-around and eventually ended up calling me names and physically threatening me. Steer clear of this place. Way overpriced and the owner has issues. read more

End of July and we were hauling our 5th wheel up to Mt. Rainier on a Friday afternoon. About 6 miles up Hwy 410, just outside of Enumclaw and out of cell sevice, our truck started shaking violently any time we pressed on the gas. We pulled over, checked out the truck and established that the only way we could fix the thing was to head back to town and have it looked at. We unhitched our trailer, loaded up our 2 dogs (one of whom is nearly 100 pounds) and packed them in to the backseat with our 3 boys...who by this point had already started to complain pretty good. By the time we got back in to Enumclaw it was almost 3:30, it was muggy out, the dogs wouldn't sit still and all 3 boys were "hungry." Any parent (or any sane human being for that matter) knows this set up is about as miserable as it gets. We roll in to Roosevelt Auto by chance, one of the mechanics makes his way out to us and opens up the hood of the truck. He pinpoints the problem in just a few moments and then tells my husband that he will need to check for our part. He came back out with his partner who was already working on a car in the shop and they talked over the repair. They offered to stay past closing to help us get it fixed, quoted us a reasonable price and gave us directions to the nearest park where we could wait out the 3 hour repair with 3 little boys and 2 dogs in relative peace. 2 hours later (an hour ahead of schedule!) we received a call from their shop, they had already finished!! (and thank goodness too...there's only so many games of charades, eye spy and hide and seek you can play). We walked back to the shop, one of the mechanics wife was even there with a tiny baby...a fact that made me even more grateful to the guys who had been willing to stay late on a Friday in order to rescue us from our disaster. They told my husband that it had gone easier than expected, billed us for LESS than their original quote and had us back on the road and on our merry way in just a few minutes. A week after the repair, STEEP passes hauling a 5th wheel and 90 degree weather, our truck is now running better than ever. The repair that the guys at Roosevelt did even fixed a mystery issue that we'd been having with our truck for over a year that our hometown mechanic could never seem to pinpoint! These guys were so great. I can not remember ever having a better experience at a mechanics! We live in Seattle and I would very seriously consider driving all the way out to Enumclaw just so they could service our truck on a regular basis! read more

Honest and reliable, Kevin and his crew have worked on my delivery truck and my personal vehicle for years. I wouldn't take it anywhere else. I can drop of my vehicle and say fix it, it's done right at a fair price and he doesn't say it needs fixing unless it really needs to be fixed. My son in-law told me it was the place to go. Now I know why. They are absolutely wonderful. I have an older car, so am having quite a few problems. They have done a tune-up & the car is running much better. They found the problem I had been trying to diagnose for months, so will get that fixed next & then one more small repair and the car should be all better.
