She escorted us into the gallery which we didn't expect to be so large and full of beautiful abstracts by Donna Manger-Weil. We received a warm welcome from Donna's business partner Ken when we arrived on a quiet Sunday morning - he gave us a quick tour of the gallery, showed us the print machine that can reproduce artworks on canvas, and took us to see Donna's art studio. It is not everyday you can be inside an artist's work space to witness all the creativity! As an added bonus, we saw two young deers nippling at the grass outside the studio.. Donna's paintings were very colorful and each piece has an interesting story behind. The gallery was very spacious and you can really take your time to soak in the art work with a glass of wine! They're always ready to answer any questions you may have about any of the pieces on exhibit. Most of the work is available for purchase and there's so many mediums to choose from: sculpture, paintings, photography, etc. What makes the collective special is that you're viewing art from LOCAL artists and all of them are truly down to earth. You can see the love and passion they have for visual arts in their collective of original works. Keep in mind that they have many events throughout the year and open themselves to the community frequently. You don't have to be a "member" to witness the pure talent here. There's no stone-cold snobbish entities within these walls. These artists are personable, full of joy and zest. You want to be around them. You want to witness their processes.
