We arrived at Roosters during their lunch hour on a Saturday with over 40 people and did not call ahead, we were seated immediately, and kindly as if no annoyance to them at all. They were prompt with our food, providing us with drinks, getting food out and all of our refills/sauces/additions. Our waitress was AMAZING!!! Truly, she was so sweet, didn't rush us when trying to wrangle our rowdy boys to get their orders, had a smile on her face the entire time & was just truly amazing. The food was delicious, our entire group received our food hot & at the same time which is an accomplishment in itself. Our 4yo had the chicken wrap & LOVED it, we also had the fried chicken sandwich, fries & the Roosters Nest (tots instead of fries) and it was delicious!! It was our first time here and will absolutely be returning! Again, to our waitress today- you were INCREDIBLE!!!

Been there several times, always good food fast service and great atmosphere, remember coming here when it was chi chi's, the wings especially the Korean barbecue are great, pizza is great, we always order extra because we rarely get to this side of town

Went to roosters for the first time with a VERY large group (talking like 20+ people). Service was very good for our group being so large!! Absolutely loved the full grilled chicken salad. I got the salad with Cajun seasoning and spicy ranch as my dressing, very good! Salad came with tons of chicken!

My parents live off of Dixie, so we find ourselves at this Roosters location nearly once a month for dinner. The restaurant is generally crowded but the plaza is large, so parking is never a problem. During our most recent visit, we had a party of six. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that our visit even with a wild three-year-old was enjoyable. Food all came out as we ordered it (I will say based on our total number of visits, things generally come out correctly 80% of the time. I feel like every 4th or 5th visit something will go awry but they're generally kind and swift to resolve any problems) and was tasty! It was my sister in laws birthday and they even surprised her with a complimentary dessert. I highly recommend their salads and their chicken tenders (which are humongous.) Great variety of dipping sauces and spice levels. Overall, we will certainly continue to eat at Roosters even if there are some mishaps amd speed bumps along the way.

Compared to other restaurants in this area, Roosters is normally staffed very well. The bar is well stocked. Tables and bar area are clean, as is the restroom. They have a decent selection of wing flavors and sandwiches to choose from. Their cheese sticks are very tasty as are their fried pickles. The managers are very professional and the lovely ladies behind be the bar always provide great customer service. Beer selection isn't the best. The prices are common among Louisville bars. They do have an excellent selection of spirits including Blanton's, Weller and Col. Taylor. They charge good prices for them. My biggest knock is the size of the menu. Sometimes less is better. There are way to many items to choose from. This can be frustrating for a newcomer, as like me, you don't want to be slow and waste the staff's time. Overall, very good restaurant. Especially for a chain.

    Pretzel with cheese(shredded)

I got shredded cheese for my cheese pretzels !!! What a crazy mistake! Sometimes I have to drive Back up there just to get the whole order remade!! Kitchen needs a little work, and leadership or effort !!! Burning the chicken and hurrying it up isn't quality !!! Seems like this place is quantity of quality! Get it out, hurry hurry ! And then boom, shredded cheese for your pretzel! Mind blown

We stopped in here on a Sunday night for a dinner with a group of 9. I was so surprised how quickly we were seated and our serve can to take our orders. Sara was such a great server. She was prompt and sweet. Our food came out quickly and correct. She checked on us often to make sure we had what we needed. And they have that amazing Rocking Rooster drink. So good!

Located off the Watterson Expressway on Dixie Hwy sits Roosters. It's kinda hidden behind El Nopal and O'Charleys along with some other businesses in the shopping center. This is a very busy shopping center but you should have no problem finding parking. I went in at what seemed to be a slow time of the day. I just go and seat myself at the bar since it's only me in my party. It did take a few minutes to be waited on but not too long. I ordered one Yuengling Golden Pilsner, Mozzarella sticks as an appetizer and Medium boneless wings. It didn't take very long for my Mozzarella sticks to come out and shortly after my wings came out as well. Mozzarella sticks had the right amount of crunch but I wasn't very big on the marinara sauce that came with it. The Medium wings I ordered were bigger than your average chicken wings as you can see in my pic. It had the perfect amount of spice for Medium flavor. This is now one of my top picks for Wings. I will return eventually. The bartender was awesome, friendly and attentive. Everything went right this visit.

THIS IS HOW BREAKFAST IS DONE!…read more I'm always looking for the local flavor that stands out among the crowd and Breakfast AF (cool name btw), really held true to their brand. Situated an easy drive from downtown, and part of the Schnitzeltown are of Louisville, this apparently was a legacy deli counter back in the heyday and the original corner Hauck's deli sign is still visible. The expansion seems to include a few bars, a pizza joint, breakfast joint, and a revised deli with a smoker actively going at the end of the complex. And it is complex... we sat out front on the patio of the breakfast joint since we had the pup with us, but had I known how large the rear patio was, we would've chosen to sit back there away from the road traffic. I the menu is straightforward... the fare is on the higher side of breakfast pricing, but the portions are enormous and I easily made two meals off my sandwich and home fries. Speaking of which... get it... wich... okay fine. I chose the fried chicken/bacon/egg sandwich on Texas toast and it was... substantial. I added home fries, but honestly, the sandwich was a meal on and of itself. The two succulent chicken tenders exploded with flavor of a distinctive savoriness and that flavor peaked when I dipped them in maple syrup (they have a dispenser next to the coffee pots). The egg and bacon were perfectly cooked, complemented each other well, and the buttery toast just pulled it all together. My wife chose the shrimp-n-grits and that was just a flavor bomb with every bite. Savory grits with the slightly sweet shrimp, topped with smoked pork belly, and drizzled with a chili crisp oil that simply overwhelmed the tastebuds with every bite. It's a line order with pagers, so place your order, grab a table, and the coffee/water is self serve over across from order pickup. The back patio is open air, expansive, and spans the entirety of the multi space front buildings. There's even a soft surface children's playground behind the new deli. I was just absolutely astounded and definitely want to make it back to try their lunch fare next time I'm in town!
