Once accomplished you do not receive a complementary sandwich meal, just 25% off 11th purchase. When I recently provided my completed card, the staff told me they are not respecting the cards anymore, not even from previous loyalty card holders. Easy place to stop when traveling on route 80 across PA! Sometimes road trips only feature indulgent foods. This was a great delight to enjoy a salad and hibiscus tea. We sat outside which was great because my little dog could stretch her legs and enjoy the fresh air! When I was ready to pull out, I asked for more ice in my tea. I would love to give more than 5 stars for the wonderful food at this cafe. Vegan, vegetarians, meat eaters, everyone will find something here. I ordered the mashed chickpea sandwich - huge sandwich on a multigrain roll with creamy chickpeas, greens, onions, and a small side of spicy rice with black beans and peppers in it. My husband got the Italian sandwich with vegan pepperoni and he loved it. We both tried the Mexican corn chowder and that was great too. I added a little black pepper but he liked it as is. All of the food was so fresh and filling. None of it was terribly expensive either. Root 11 is connected to a small grocery store that supplies some produce, greeting cards, candy, snacks, health and beauty items, mostly products of the organic/better for you variety. read more

WOW!!!!! I was in Bloom for work and found this awesome little bistro on Yelp! It was tough to decide what I wanted to try for lunch, chilled steak sandwich, beet salad, brunch, burgers. I chose the chicken ciabatta with apple butter and caramelized onion. Absolutely fantastic. I am so enjoyed the side of sweet potato salad with an unsweetened green tea. The sandwich was huge, tons of chicken $11. I can't wait until next week when I'm back in Bloom. The bistro is right off US11, plenty of parking, seating inside and out. Super, friendly staff. This cafe was really cute, and had a small menu. We stopped by for brunch. We got the veggie, egg, and cheese sandwich, as well as the french toast. For drinks, we got blaci tea and kombucha. I really enjoyed the sandwich, it had lots of veggies, the bread they used looked very healthy and expensive as well. They were also very accommodating, they cooked it all on a seperate pan from the main grill, because we can't have it contaminated with grease from meats. However, the french toast was really bad. It was partially burnt and was very dry and had no flavor. Could've used some berries atleast as well. The tea was fine. I was excited about their homemade kombucha but it had no fizz at all, meaning it wasn't fresh. read more

The name caught my eye, It's Root 11 located on RT 11! I've been meaning to stop in and see what they're all about, Very glad I did. The store has everything you would find in a " Mother"s Market in California. Homeopathic products, foods for the health conscious and helpful store assoc. The small but abundant cafe has a nice menu with items from burgers and tofu to breakfast burritos and cupcakes! The burrito was filled with fresh veggies and eggs. Delicious! Such amazing food that tastes great, is beautifully presented, and is good for you too! Excellent coffee and outstanding service. I had the eggs and veggies on top of greens (rather than on a roll) and my spouse had the steak and eggs. I asked for decaf coffee and they went out of their way to make me some in a French press since It was early and they hadn't brewed a full pot. Top notch in absolutely every way! We happened upon this gem passing through Pennsylvania on I-80. The building set up is really fun - big open room inside with the restaurant on one end and a natural market/grocery store on the other. There was both indoor and outdoor seating (covered by umbrellas). The menu ranged from vegan to carnivore. We ordered a black garlic salmon burger on brioche that was really good. I tried the mushroom black garlic sandwich and had shredded chicken added. Each sandwich came with a small side of the broccoli cranberry salad. I appreciated the gluten free wrap option, but it wasn't great. The sandwich filling was fantastic. The local kombucha was light and refreshing, and the vegan gluten free oatmeal cookie sandwich was truly the best gluten free baked food I've ever tasted. The only bummer was the lack of good gluten free bread options for sandwiches, but that wouldn't stop me from stopping in again. read more

Awesome place to grab some takeout lunch! Great vegetarian and vegan options, all on the healthier side. We got the Santa Fe Chickpea Salad Sandwich, the Grilled Mushroom & Black Garlic Sandwich, and two cupcakes - butterscotch caramel and chocolate orange (both vegan). The sandwiches were very good, with great flavor and fresh ingredients. I don't think there's anything we'd change about either! Both cupcakes were nicely decorated. The chocolate orange cupcake was the favorite, nice and moist and flavorful. I was surprised I didn't prefer the butterscotch cupcake, but it didn't have as pronounced of flavors (still good though). The staff was very friendly, and the connected store, Bloom Naturally, has a great selection of natural foods, some locally sourced produce, body products, and other items. This is a really cute place with a hip vibe. It's attached to natural supplements store and conventionally located next to the beer distributor. I had the sante fe chicken salad and the cauliflower soup and I thought both were delicious and clean. The food was fresh and flavors were mostly there. I like a little more flavor so that could be cultivated. The portion sizes are quite good and the food is certainly filling. I didn't have dessert but I love the gluten free options! I also that the menu offers a range of vegan to every kind of meat eater. There isn't great seating for large groups but may be some day they can expand! I think it will be really nice when it warms up and if they can put a few chairs and table outside! This place is doing great things for Bloom! Visited my bro and shared the Vermont Burger with Alaskan salmon and Caramelized onions and apples, the grilled vegetable sandwich with local cheeses, and Thai salad. The bread was amazing, baked by next door bread co. I ended up ordering takeouts to go for dinner because we want to try it all. Service was also super friendly and helpful. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Husband and I were passing through PA and I was hungry and was hoping for some plant based/vegan and options and stumbled upon this absolute gem. Okay, so I went here with my mom (Severe milk and soy allergy), father (Omnivore gym bro who could care less about what he's eating as long as it's tasty), and myself (vegan with peanut allergy). They were extremely accommodating to all allergies and took them very seriously. We started with the black bean soup which was delicious but more like chili, then my mother and I had the black garlic mushroom sandwich on whole wheat pita, and dear god was it amazing. I want them to bury me wrapped in that pita and encased in the sauce. I would drink it with a straw. It was fantastic. My father also had the falafel which I can say was delicious with quite complex aromatic notes. The hummus was also very solid, if you like a garlicky hummus you would very much like this. In addition we tried the chocolate strawberry cupcake which was good! Overall the atmosphere is very new age hippie which is appreciated thoroughly. In addition they are equipped with a market that has all your big city vegan favs such as beyond products etc, as well as many holistic medicine must haves. Black garlic burger was simply great, one of the best I've had anywhere. It was perfectly cooked, a bit messy, and so good. The staff was great, very accommodating and personable.
