Unsure how many options are in Bloomsburg but we were visiting for 1 night & our hotel recommended Marleys so we went on a Thursday hoping to catch some football games. We ordered boneless wings, pizza, pirogies/brisket, and buffalo chicken Stromboli. Food was served quick & hot. Our server was nice & gave us some good recommendations on Beer. FYI, minus 1 star because they don't have Amazon so can't watch games that play on that streaming service. Ofc we wanted to watch the Bills game & couldn't. This place was suggested by a family member while in the area for the craft fair. We were seated immediately. Our waitress was great, she was very nice. It was very clean. My fiancé and I got their cajun crabby cheesesteak. It was cajun seasoned sliced ribeye mixed with their house crab dip on a toasted baguette, topped with melted cheddar jack cheese. Served with cole slaw and French fries. This was unbelievable. The crab dip was delicious, creamy and had nice flavor. Mixing it with the ribeye was a great idea. Their baguette tastes fresh and had a nice squishy-ness. Fries had a nice seasoning and great crunch. Their cole slaw is the best I've had...more of a vinegary cole slaw which I love. We were up this way for a few days going to Knoebels and we asked some locals where a good steak place was. This place was highly recommended. And we are so glad we went! My husband ordered the pork I had the filet medallions. I also had their special cocktails and they did not disappoint. Our waitress was awesome and very prompt. Stopped into Marley's on our way by while traveling on I-80. The Sunday afternoon lunch time was very busy, but the friendly hostess seated us right off. Very shortly after, the even friendlier server came over to take our drink order. Had a flight of their beers, and all were very tasty. My favorite was the Just Kitten Kolsch. Light, crisp, and flavorful. For lunch, we had the House Salad with Grilled chicken, vegetable flat bread, and a side of fries. The salad was fresh and delicious, and the flat bread was very good with its balsamic glaze drizzled on. The fries had a nice seasoning and came out piping hot. They were absolutely packed when we were there. Despite that, our waitress was super friendly and attentive. Kudos to her for keeping it together! All of our food was delicious. We had the short rib dinner, short rib sliders, and one of their specials. The loaded baked potatoes were super tasty. Two of us ordered flights of beer. The service was great. I enjoyed the Brussel sprout appetizer. DH was luke-warm about it. My spinach salad was just what I was looking for. The chicken was juicy and plentiful. DH ordered the taco salad and the server mentioned he might want extra salsa because it doesn't really come with a dressing. She was correct. The experience haa changed significantly since they moved out of downtown Bloomsburg. Having more room is nice, as is the expanded brick oven menu. Wing night continues to be a staple and my own primary visiting option. An overall great dining experience with a few fine tune issues they can't seem to shake. I live locally and have tried to give this restaurant several chances and it always disappoints. 1. They serve dry cold rolls with flavored MARGARINE. Eating a cold dry roll with greasy margarine didn't even appeal to me when I was starving and it remained uneaten. 2. The broccoli is always a combination of yellow and brown it's never fresh. 3. The baked potatoes look as if they have been on a warmer since the day before. Dry shriveled with browned spots on outside. 4. The provolone sticks and fish were both fried in brown old dirty oil that turned them dark brown too. Only positive was the beer. I had the peanutbutter and it was pretty good. If I ever go there again it will only be for a drink. I'm so confused how this restaurant stays in business. Recently me and my gal pal Shirley deicided to go on a Beer and Soft Pretzle tour of the north eastern PA as the weather starts to warm up and our covid shots in our wrinkly arms start to kick in. This isnt not our first stop but it is my first review. so let's get in to the review. i'll start with a pretzle sooo so soft! it was very good not to much salt but a good amount but the cheese and mustard dips, not to exciting.... standard dips i say. the beer. I would feel it is wrong if I did not update this review. So I have eaten here now many times since. I must say that my opinion has pretty drastically changed. Really wanted to grab a bite but wanted to take the dog along so we decided to try again. The food has improved drastically. Maybe it is my selection. The flatbread is very tasty and has a decent depth of flavor. The balsamic is a good touch. The crab cakes are genuinely great as well. The sauce they put on top is awesome. It is a slightly spicy concoction that really wakes up the light savory flavor of the crab. I must say I still haven't had a beer here that I am a big fan of. They are all very bitter to me. Maybe that is just preference but I just find that these beers taste immature maybe? I don't know. I don't know. I am by no means an expert. Still, just not a big fan. Came here for lunch after a long day of hiking. They have a few tables in their outdoor patio and all The tables have umbrellas which is awesome given how hot it has been. Food was great- a TON of veggie options (love that they have a beyond burger) my fiancé got the brisket grilled cheese which he loved. The cole slaw and waffle fries were both excellent. First, if you're not a wings and beer person, this might not be the stop for you. Marley's was formerly located in downtown Bloomsburg, but moved to this location which previously housed a Bennigan's and then Stone Fired Grill. Interior has not changed much since it was a Bennigan's. After looking at the menu I found the prices about average for a mid-range restaurant, and went with one of the cheaper options: a plain Hamburger (well done) that was served with Fries. This is probably one of the driest meals I've ever had. The bun was dry and the meat was dry, really lacked juiciness. I got an end of the batch fries while everyone else at my table got fresh fries (you could tell from the color), and those were also dry and needed salt. Ketchup was used heavily to fix this meal, but even it could only do so much. Was the food terrible? No, but the Burger King down the street is a better value and serves a tastier burger. Service was good enough but the bathrooms could have used some work. I'm not inclined to return unless I have more money for a full priced dinner. read more
