I booked the class the night before at the very last minute. Before walking into the studio, while parking my car, I realized that I accidentally forgot my yoga mat at home. So, as I entered the studio, I was happy when the yoga teacher handed me a yoga mat to borrow after I told her that I forgot mine at home. VINYASA CLASS -- I checked the class schedule and I believe took the "In Studio - All Levels" class. The instructor Mel D. led the class. As a teacher, she used great cues that allowed the students to flow from one yoga pose to the next. This class wasn't difficult for me but even though it appeared to be a beginner level class, I still enjoyed the challenge of holding poses such as downward facing dog. YOGA CLASS DESCRIPTION (In Studio - All Levels Class) -- "Flow classes focus on alignment, breathing, and mindfulness, inviting the body to move with increased awareness and ease. During this class we will incorporate several modifications to accommodate physical limitations or to make poses more challenging." Hope yoga has locations in Westlake and Fairview Park. I was looking for a new hot yoga studio on the west side of Cleveland since it is closer to where I live, and came across Inner Bliss on the Mindbody app. The drop in classes are $20 but the 5 class pass is $68, and the price discrepancy convinced me to buy a 5 class pass even though I had never been to the studio before. Luckily, I made the right decision! I'm a fan of the Hot Power Flow Yoga classes here (my favorite instructor is Sally!) They are challenging enough where it feels like a good workout, but the environment is still a safe space so I don't feel judged if I need to take a break. Some hot yoga classes I have been to focus too much on hitting specific poses/binds/balances that aren't conducive to all experience levels, but I haven't run into that problem at Inner Bliss. I will definitely be repurchasing more classes after my 5 class pass is used up.

The interior is absolutely beautiful, with the most stunning and oddly soft hardwood floors you've ever seen. Owner Jessie also owns Cleveland Hardwood Restoration and has truly put immense effort into making this space beautiful and inviting. The minute you walk in, you feel relaxed and at-home. This studio requires you to pre-register online as drop-ins are not a thing here. They have a full slate of weekly classes ranging from power vinyasa to restorative and class package options available. Their online scheduling is a breeze to pay by credit card. Sacred Hour Yoga is a truly welcoming studio (physically and socially) and I can't wait to see them continue to grow.

It's a great balance--reminders of how to move and align your body properly to avoid injury and deepen into poses with the reminder to adapt to what your body needs. The atmosphere in the old firehouse is lovely and the tiny studio is very well stocked with props. They also offer a variety of classes so those who want to flow will be happy and those into restorative or yin have a place as well. I appreciate all the safety measures they have in place as we move out of COVID time. This place is a gem (other clients are a friendly bunch as well.)

It has an almost "brighter" feel with this name, and I love it! Sunaya is located in Rocky River right on the border of Lakewood and Rocky River. It's pretty easily accessible off the main drag off Clifton, so you can get there without too much trouble. Its located inside a strip mall with ample free parking in a shared private lot. I hadn't attended a class here since pre-pandemic but it was still a solid experience. I attended Monique's slow flow class. Upon arrival, she had all the supportive props set up at every spot, which was so nice! I appreciated that these were set-up already, as it allowed for everyone to be spaced out appropriately during the pandemic (if you're a yogi, you know sometimes people do not respect space when a lot of people sign-up for a class). However, these classes are small by design, which automatically helps. Happy to be back at the new Sunaya Studios!
