I have been attending the Aerial Yoga classes every Monday evening and I absolutely love it! Jenn and Cathy are wonderful instructors and make exercise enjoyable. At first I was afraid to try because I am not in the best shape, but I am so glad I did. They work with you and what you are capable of doing. If you want to try aerial yoga go to Root SUP & Fitness!! They have so many other classes and workshops to try as well. Their Fee Good Live Better series is focused on self care and being the best version of yourself. Jenn and Cathy are so supportive and caring. Since I have started attending small groups & classes at Root, I have learned to enjoy working out! They have an incredible variety of offerings, like SUP, yoga, and aerial yoga in addition to those you would expect, like Boot Camps and personal/group training. In addition they have wellness activities focused on healthy eating, self care, and more. Cathy & Jenn are incredibly encouraging while providing the challenge you need to reach your goals. My own transformation has been incredible, losing 100 lbs and regaining a sense of confidence in myself. I cannot recommend Root SUP & Fitness more! read more

Yoga, SUPing, Retreats, and MORE! Cathy and Jenn have created a unique space that is welcoming to all people. I have taken on new challenges (stand up paddleboarding - SUP) and deepened my yoga practice with some new tweaks that keep things interesting. Beyond the activities that are scheduled at root SUP & Fitness is the unconditional acceptance you receive in the space. The atmosphere in their classes and in their space allows me to exhale and just be me which doesn't happen in many places in my life. Root SUP and Fitness is personalized training in a small group setting. I took a Aerial Yoga class with Jenn and a gentle yoga class with Cathy. Jenn and Cathy were both knowledgeable about yoga--helpful--and welcoming. Right after my first class, I immediately signed up for multiple classes to counteract my high mileage runs. Not only is it a great facility it is in an amazing small town that offered a unique 'small town' feel. I cannot wait to try their Root Camp next week. I cant wait to go back! read more

Root is my favorite fitness studio! They have a nice combination of class variety and being great at what they offer. Cathy and Jenn are both fantastic and motivating personal trainers; I always feel safe and heard in my sessions or classes with them. I love how they strike a balance between encouraging me to push myself to try new and challenging things, but also listening to my body and not pushing too far. Root SUP & Fitness is not a gym or a just a fitness center- it's a way more than that! Cathy and Jenn are incredible genuine advocates for you entire well being. Full body work out, full body stretch and educating you on how to take care of your self outside of training. Also helping giving confidence to push outside your comfort zone such as Stand Up Paddle boarding.
