Our irrigation system had 2 leaky valves that had been replaced less than a year ago. Michael showed me that they were not new and had not been installed correctly. Unfortunately, the guy who did the previous work was a temporary subcontractor for a landscaper we had hired for other work and he could not be located. Michael replaced the valves with (actually) new ones and fixed a pipe leak that he also spotted. I hired Michael and his team for a hillside makeover on a large slope behind. The existing slope was an eyesore and covered in dead iceplant, shrubs and trees. Michael came over on short notice to give me an estimate, which included removal of the dead plants, including digging up a number of dead trees. His quote was very fair and couple weeks later he and his team arrived (on time!) and cleared off the hill within a day. I was so impressed with his work, I hired Michael and his team again a couple months later to set up irrigation/drip system on the hill as well do all of the planting of the 80+ new plants I bought (Michael had given me some great guidance around what plants would work best for a privacy barrier as well). I wish I'd taken before and after photos - the hillside looks so much nicer and I can't say enough good things about Michael and his team at Rooted Garden Services. Highly recommend!! Michael and his crew showed up on time and replaced two irrigation sprinklers that were broken and also replaced 15 old sprinkler nozzles with Hunter MP Rotator nozzles. They spent a lot of time adjusting the new sprinklers just right, and programmed the timer, also explaining to me that I need to keep grass away from growing around the sprinklers. Highly knowledgeable, professional and reliable. The only down side was that I was not made aware when I hired them and it was not noted on the estimate that they do not take credit cards. We just moved into a house and almost every sprinkler head was broken as well as the drip line in several places. Michael was able to come out quickly and gave a very reasonable estimate to repair everything. He was super thorough and noted every repair that needed done and walked me through it. MC Garden Services installed sod in our front yard. Mike and his crew removed the old sod and multiple tree roots. They had to level out the area after removing the roots as some were quite large. They did a great job. They listened to our needs and provided what we requested. They worked hard, were friendly and accommodating. They are very responsive and professional. They care a lot about the quality of their work. We now have a beautiful front lawn. We have already received multiple compliments.
