A few years ago I used Pro Solutions and Jerry came out for a water pressure issue that impacted our sinks and shower. Jerry was thoughtful and a good communicator on the issue. He fixed the issue immediately and that experience stuck with us. Fast forward to this week, we used them again. Thankfully, no emergencies but I had one toilet needing a tweak and needed hardware changed in one of my bathrooms for the shower and sink that was long overdue. Even though my request wasn't an emergency, Jerry offered to come out within hours of my request to fix everything and was communicative even late into the night (when my toilet started acting up so I frantically messaged them) talk about stellar availability and service. Next day I had Jerry at my door, he was punctual, professional and did a great job of explaining everything so that I could understand what needed to be done, the pricing, and options for the replacement pieces. It was all a seamless and easy process. Jerry was also quick and efficient which was another bonus. What gives this company extra brownie points in my books though is their honesty...To elaborate, I had partially fixed the issue with my toilet before Jerry came but there was still something slightly off about the water levels... after telling Jerry he was able to tweak the part that I didn't know how to fix and literally in seconds, he had the issue resolved. Given what a quick fix it was and that he was already out to help with other plumbing issues, he didn't charge me for the toilet fix. Little things like that go a long way because any other plumber would've likely charged me just for even touching it/assessing it. That shows me that they care about their long-term business and customers, so they aren't out to make a quick buck. Honest, hardworking people are the kind of businesses I'll always go back to for repairs and projects. Two separate experiences and I was a happy customer both times. Joseph took the initiative to contact AO Smith (brand of our bad water heater) to see if it was still under warranty. It turns out it did have a couple of years left, and Joseph offered to take it back to Lowe's in order to exchange it for a new one (where we purchased the water heater that was bad), this was already past 5 PM. Then, he came back and installed a new hot water line that was feeding the water heater (the old line had a leak already), finished the job after 8 PM. This must have been a long day for Joseph, but he always had a great attitude, was professional, and helpful. These are the type of people that make a difference when deciding who to call in the future when you need a service/plumbing needs. Unfortunately the contractor decided to place the gas line and valve to the pit within the masonry work, leaving no way to access the line should the need arise. Flash forward to about a week and a half ago, and the valve in my backyard fire pit became stripped and was no longer opening or closing with they key. I am a DIY guy 95% of the time, but I am not about to go messing around with a gas line, so I called a local fire place shop to ask about repairs. They told me the job required a plumber and recommended Lloyd's Plumbing service. I called Lloyd's, left a message and... never heard back. After a couple days I searched on my own and found Gallegos Plumbing. I called them and asked about an estimate. The gentleman told me there was no charge to have someone come out I had an appointment scheduled for the next day. The communication throughout the entire process was spectacular. Within a couple minutes of hanging up the phone, I had already received an email and text confirming my pending appointment, and even had a reminder email and text the next day. Bill Jeffries was the gentleman who came to my house. He called me to let me know he was on his way and also asked me about the issue I was having with my fire pit so he could be as prepared as possible. He showed up on time and was very friendly. He took a look at my fire pit, spent time answering my questions, and walked me through three different solutions that could work. He was honest and transparent about the estimated costs for each potential solution, which I appreciated. But seeing the concerned look on my face, knowing that I was looking at a higher cost than expected due to how my fire pit was built, Bill offered a fourth solution that I could try myself, and walked me through how he would do it. In my experience, this just doesn't happen these days. Bill was genuinely interested in helping me figure out my problem and not just looking to make some money. After 30 minutes of his time, he gave me his card, shook my hand, told me to call if I needed anything, and bid me a good afternoon. I was left with no charge for the time or the visit, and a potential solution to my problem that I can try myself for the cost of a few tools and an afternoon. Gallegos Plumbing came through huge, and I feel that their service and expertise is second to none. Bill was extremely professional, friendly, and listened to me. I will most certainly be calling Gallegos Plumbing in the future for all my my plumbing needs, as mine was a great first experience. I am glad I found them, and I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing service in their home. It's hard to find good, honest, hard-working businesses these days who put their customers first, but Gallegos Plumbing is one of those few. Highly recommended, and I can't say thank you enough.

This company was able to schedule service right away (even on the weekend). They work 24/7 and can show up afterhours and holidays. They also send confirmation texts for appointments, surveys, etc. and emails for invoice and home inspections should you choose. Team Rooter had the best pricing for our clogged kitchen sink. We were so pleased with the work they did that we called Team Rooter again in 2026 for a different plumbing problem. I liked that they had complete records of the last time they were out. *FYI, after the plumbing work is complete, they send out a report with a description of the scope of work done. This month, Geovanni was assigned to us and he is the best - professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and more than capable. He is the type of plumber I would feel safe referring to my grandmother if she had a plumbing issue. Professional - I appreciated that Geovanni would call and give a 30 minutes heads up before he arrived and he's pretty punctual. (Can't stand when other vendors or deliveries would give you a 4 hour window so you're stuck just waiting.) Workmanship - Geovanni worked quickly and efficiently. The plastic and copper pipes he redid look way better than they did before... instead of multiple right angles, he angled them to flow better and reduce a collection of water (which started our problem in the first place). He also performed some drywall repair after replacing the pipes, and we were very impressed by his drywall work (he took the time to really match the existing walls on multiple floors in our house). I am just thankful he was able to fix all of our water issues. If we have problems in the future, I would def call Team Rooter again. Would recommend to all of our friends and family. I believe they have offices to cover from Santa Barbara to San Diego.

But when we needed to change out an old bathroom vanity for a new one, we knew we had to get serious about it. And if you hire a plumber to do the work, which DOES involve some plumbing, then it costs way more. I resigned myself to the search and literally just contacted the most popular handyman service in my town based on Yelp reviews. Guess what? thank goodness I did! 805's Handyman (NOT to be confused with "805 Handyman") responded right away--even though it was a Sunday and the World Cup games were on. I uploaded pics, sent in the details, got an estimate, and made an appointment. On the day of, a nice truck drove up with the logo painted proudly on the side (not a guy in a fancy sports car, like handyman #9). Two sturdy guys came in and got down to business right away--no fuss, all smiles, and dare I say it? Like they loved what they do. (Unlike handyman #7 who was a former engineer and complained the whole time, even refusing to do some tasks!) Long story shorter, the bathroom vanity switcheroo turned out to be bigger and messier project than expected. It ended up involving some retiling, grouting, electrical adjustments, alterations to trim, painting--and the plumbing bits and installation and removal. The workers were quiet, helpful, communicated the whole time and were just generally old-school excellent (unlike handyman #4, who was nice, but got everything crooked and a bit wonky, bless his heart). The 805's Handyman workers did ALL the plumbing/installing/electrical/tile work/painting--the whole shebang. And the end result is a sweet transformation for our upstairs bath (I also asked them to take care of a few more items on my to-do list, which they did quickly and again, with smiles). The whole thing was very gratifying. So much so, that the next time something in our house needs fixing, I will actually look forward to hiring 805's Handyman again. We're lucky to have them in the Ventura area and they are popular on Yelp for very good reasons.

He came with all his supplies and was prepared, he swapped out my old, ugly lighting fixtures and put in the new ones no issue. He was careful but prompt with getting this task complete. It's the third day now and everything is working great. WHY WE CHANGED: Just got tired of increasing monthly rates and having to open the garage for the techs to switch out the tanks. I swear Dean is the most patient (no pressure) sales guy I've ever met. Yo say he is thorough is an understatement. He carefully looks at all information available from the types of systems to the pros and cons of each and tailors them to the individual's requirements. The best part is he doesn't oversell you on things you don't need. In my case I wanted a system to eventually be ready for an electric car. Dean wisely advised not to buy the extra pieces now when they would be of no value to me, but ensured my system would be ready for upgrades when I was ready. Since our initial install we have upgraded our system on 3 occasions, each time carefully planned out to maximize the value of the equipment and to get the best bang for the buck. In short if I could give 10 stars I would. If you are interested in learning about solar give them a call. You won't be sorry.

Recently, unfortunately we had a major sewer problem in our home that was was built in 1960. Numerous times we had professional plumbers and myself snake a backed up drain leading from our kitchen and laundry room drains. Contacted Rooter Hero for drain cleaning. Technician came in our house a couple of hours after call and attempted to clear drain and was unable to clear line. Jay made a call to technician with camera equipment and areas of the cast iron pipe were coming apart and corroded like a rusted old car body. This did not surprise us due to the frequency of snaking the drain. Rooter Hero recommended pipe replacement to correct condition. Upon further inspection found pipes in bathroom area in same condition and main line to city connection seriously root damaged in many section of the pipe. Estimate was provided. Cost of service work was shocking, but senior citizen and cash discount were given. Work was started beginning of March and handled in very professional way. Work took sevens days to complete. They protected the work area and began seventy three feet of trenching on the side of the house instead of removal of our tile and hardwood floors throughout house. Rooter Hero broke concrete in one bedroom and tunneled under hallway to gain access to bathroom plumbing to not damage hardwood floors. They replaced main sewer line with trench-less equipment and installed abs pipe to service both bathrooms. Four foot piles of dirt outside, in one bedroom and in one bathroom. Once inspected by city inspector for code they back filled all the dirt and cleaned work areas of dirt and concrete. During work process we were able to live in house and use water at different sinks so not to be be inconvenienced during process. Thank you Jay and crew. We would like to thank you for the fast, quality work performed in our home. Jay and his crew were very nice and professional while completing our plumbing task.Very, Very expensive undertaking but we won't have anymore sewer concerns. 25 year old, galvanized pipe, kitchen sink drain blocked! As a skeptic and knowledgeable consumer, I closely monitor and question all activities of hired contractors. Rooter Hero Plumbing was the only company that could come out same day and within 2 hours. Ahmad Naim quickly tried the motorized snake but the cable broke 30 feet down the drain. I saw it break and knew that was a bad sign. Ahmad called supervisor Bryan Castaneda who arrived within 30 minutes and recommended a hydro-pressure cleaning. Ahmad struggled to navigate the larger hydro-pressure nozzle down the drain and eventually arrived at an unmovable blockage. I watched the video display as Bryan attempted to insert the camera but could only advance to the wall where the picture turned totally black with sludge. Bryan recommended cutting the drain pipe inside the wall allowing straight access for the hydro-jet machine. This machine is a trailer mounted, gasoline powered, mini fire-engine pressure washer. Ahmad returned with the trailer 1 hour later and setup took 30 minutes. The loud gasoline engine forced 6K-PSI into the drain and within 2 minutes the drain was cleared. As her intermediary, I am helping my grandmother coordinate a large job with Rooter Hero. Among other things, the job will include new drainage for the main house out to the street, repiping the entire house out to the street, a new water heater, new water filtration system, a new toilet, sink, tub, vanity and bathroom renovation. The Foreman, Isaias, has been professional, very patient, helpful, informative and has been bearing with us through the whole process, which has not been easy due to unexpected issues being discovered along the way, while remaining gracious, understanding and doing all he can to make things work. The Tech, Ronnie, has also been a good communicator and has produced excellent work so far. Both Isaias and Ronnie have been treating this job as if it was being done for their own grandmothers, and we appreciate that so much. This is turning out to be a reasonably priced, up to code, reliable, long lasting/warrantied, and much needed job that will improve my grandma's quality of life, health, and use of her home. About 1:30 Sunday, March 26, both toilets backed up and water came up into the bathtub when flushing. After trying to plunge them ourselves we called Rooter Hero because we had used them before; we were told they had no-one available until between 7 and 9:00 p.m. but would call if they had someone finish earlier. Within about 1/2 hour we received a call saying they were sending Brandon Noteware who was the technician who worked at our house before and with whom we had been very pleased. Brandon arrived by 3:00 and the clog could not be cleared so he called Brian to bring a camera which showed the old clay pipes had dropped, making it a major job. Brandon is very professional, polite, courteous and knowledgeable and kept us informed throughout the job, letting us know what was going on throughout the job. When he told us he'd be here at a certain time, he was here, and he cleaned up the area before leaving. We wouldn't hesitate to call Rooter Hero again, and would hope we could have Brandon as our technician. read more

This company sent Octavio on a Sunday evening within a half hour of my call. It was a main drain root blockage and not what I originally expected. Octavio diagnosed the problem, subsequently got us full usage the following day as we needed a scope camera and bladed rooter. Everyone, the 4 crew and office staff were polite, courteous and helpful. In all it was a four day process, with a site inspection and what I believe was an interior resin sleeve molded inside the older degrading clay main line to prevent further degradation and future root blockages. During this process they went out of there way to let us use the drains when needed. The price knocked me back a bit but I don't believe it would've been much of a difference with another contractor if they would've even been available to come on such short notice on a Sunday evening. I was unfamiliar with Rooter Hero and figured I would give them a try. Called to have rooter service on my drain. They showed up within 20 minutes of calling. Brandon and Brandon attempted to unclog my drain without success. Camera inspection discovered broken pipe (was not happy about that). They quoted me to run new drain line. After talking with people who had similar repairs, the price seemed fair. Still larger repair then I wanted to do, but what can you expect from 55 year old house. Since it was raining and the weekend, I didn't expect the repairs to start till Monday. They started in the rain and on the weekend to get my drain back up and running. The job took few days to finish since it need to be inspected. But they keep me in the loop on the process. They kept the job site neat and clean, even ensuring me that they would. I just want to take the time to thank rooter hero for being so professional. It started with danette over the phone telling me exactly when my technician will arrive. She was extremely polite. Just 30 min later my technician mike was here. He took the time to put on his shoe covers before he came in. I explained to him what my issue was and the problems I was having with my kitchen sink. I live in a very old house so I know the plumbing isn't that great. Mike took everything out from under my sink and organized it away from him. He told me exactly what he needed to do to fix my kitchen drain and had me sign. Mike noticed the old metal pipes were closed up and even showed me!! Brandon came out after to give me some options. Exceptionally well done! Excellent! Their works are very professionalism. We had Rooter Hero fixed & replaced a new drain-out-line from the house to City sewer. That was a very big & hard job! What can i say about these guys...1. the people that route the calls to the plumbers did not impress me..had to call them back so they would call a technician to get back to me. So, those guys i give a C- grade to. However, once the technician got here ( Octavio) then the situation went from frustrating to Awesome! What did i like about him...let me count the ways. 1. was attentive to my needs. 2. assessed the situation of what needed to be done. 3. helped with getting us to the right financing .4. was awesome when speaking to my fiancee without talking down to her ..which a lot of business people do. 5. surgical in his work 6. did not leave a mess...6. and above all...was kind and considerate and professional. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!!! They are incompetent theives. Called them out to open a drain line at a building because of a sewer back up. They allegedly tried jetting the line three times, but did not actually unclogged anything. Then, after allegedly running a camera, they told us that the line was broken and needed to be replaced or sleeved at a cost of about $25K. Thank goodness I did not beleive them. Called in another company who quickly snaked the line and completely opened it. They ran their own camera and told us that the line was fine and no more work was necessary. Rooter Hero is a complete scam. They did not do the work necessary and then lied to us about the problem during an emergency situation and tried to sell us on tens of thousands of dollars of unnecessary work. I cannot believe that companies like this are still around. read more

I got in a little trouble yesterday when doing a simple leaky bathroom faucet. The plumbing was old and the problem started backing from the faucet handle to the shutoff valve and the cutoff from the house would not close all the way. Called another plumbing outfit and they said they wouldn't make it till Wednesday so I called Rooter Hero - Ventura and they said someone will be there in 30 minutes. Brandon showed up in 20 minutes. He quickly estimated the job and told me that i can save money by picking up a few parts at home depot. He told me why to get and I ran up to Home Depot while he waited. I woke up Monday morning, 12/5/2016, with no hot water. Yikes!!! I schedule an appointment with Rooter Hero Pumbing and Edwin F. showed up within an hour of contacting Rooter. I have a GE water heater. Unfortunately, GE no longer makes this system. Not to worry!!! Edwin talked to GE and found the part number. He ran over to Home Depot and Lowe's to avoid having GE send me a new part using Fed Ex 2-day business shipment. Sadly, the part was not found. Happily, Edwin, contacted GE again and had the part sent to my home. The new part was delivered in 1 business day. Hurry! Edwin was here within 90mins of my call today to install the new part. The plumbing in my restroom was backed up when I called Rooter hero for service. They dispatched Jose A. and gave an estimated time of arrival...Jose gave a courtesy call to let me know his last job had ran a little later than expected and he would be about 15 min later than the estimated time. When he arrived he was very polite and professional. He clearly communicated what the problem was and the costs associated. After clearing the drain he made sure that the issue was thoroughly cleared up and flowing freely. He cleaned up after himself and gave me tips on how to care for the old plumbing and help prevent the same issue from reoccurring. I am writing this review for my sister Patty. She was having trouble with the bathtub drain. She called Rooter Hero again because of her prior good experience with Oscar. This time the issues under the very old house were extensive, among other things the bottom of the pipe was gone. Oscar came out and explained what the problem was and even took pictures for my sister to see under the house. He was polite, professional and thorough.The job involved digging on the side, back and under the house. They had to go through concrete and siding and replace pipes and therefore had to pour concrete and repair the siding. The job took a few days and was done when promised. She will definitely use Rooter Hero again if needed and ask for Oscar! read more

I I had a problem with my house water control valve (could not shut off) and I called Rooter Hero to fix it. Octavio showed up and carefully checked the condition of the valve. To replace it would cost over $500. He found that the valve could not turn to the off position due to rusty. He was professional and honest. Instead to replacing the valve, he cleaned outside of the valve and was able to make it working. He also educated me how to keep the valve working properly in a long term. He saved me money and time to replace it. He is a credit to the company. I will definitely call Rooter Hero next time if I ever have any need for plumbing and I recommend the company and him highly. I live in La Conchita, almost to Santa Barbara county, not many businesses will even come out here. Super Bowl morning kitchen sink is backed up, my neighbor praised Joe at Rooter Hero, I called at 9 am he was here at 11:30 am as promised. He runs the hot water, does not even have to rooter the drain and fixes it. States he cannot charge me because he did nothing!!!!!! He fixed it, said its grease build up and eventually will have to replace a few feet of sewer line. Did you read the part of NO CHARGE. I am 12 miles past Ventura, lots of driving for Joe. Excellent, professional experience with everyone from Rooter Hero. I had a hopelessly clogged toilet and called Rooter Hero at about noon today. The operator was very nice and told me that she could get a plumber out to me between 2 and 4. I fully expected not to hear from anyone until 4:30 based on past experiences with other vendors but Rooter Hero called me back promptly and Ron was at my house at 2:30. Ron was very nice: he was able to fix my toilet and he checked my water pressure to help troubleshoot some other problems he'd noticed. Ask for Oscar, he did a great job. Manager was very rude though. I wouldn't have Art come out. He was nice, but he created more problems in our bathroom that caused our water bill to double. When he was here, he said he would give me a discount if I paid cash $160, otherwise a card could cost me over $300, so of course I said yes. Then when I called back to have them fix the problem, there was no records of my toilet even being fixed! The manager was very smug and scoffed at me because I'm not a plumber and didn't know exactly what the original plumber did. I'm only giving this place a 5 star because of Oscar. I was saved by the best! We had a horrible plumbing incident that came at the most inopportune time. My stress level was over the top and it was raining. We wanted to use a local company that was close. Camarillo plumbing sounded like a good option, not far away and many years in business. The man worked less than one hour, had necessary equipment in his truck (sealant and caulking) so there were no special tools and nothing was functionally wrong with the toilet. He charged $2,000. This happened in September of 2024 but I finally looked up the charge and wanted to make sure I got the correct business before I posted this. We are seniors with a limited income which, imo, makes this an unconscionable move on his part. I can just scream when I remember and that's why it has take me such a long time to complete this review. I can only imagine that he will reap the rewards of his lack of integrity. We have since found a real plumber who has a moral compass in addition to being skilled. So, do not use this business.
