Do not do business with this company! Wish I had read the negative reviews before. less than a month ago they snaked the main drain and I called again yesterday because sewage had backed up. at the completion of the first job I was told he would guarantee his work but upon return he wouldn't snake the line again unless I paid for the service again. showed up 3 hours late so I had no option as it was now after 4pm but to go ahead. from the get-go he was trying to upsell a hydro jet for $500. claimed the blades from the snake would not cut roots would only pull them out if they got to tangled. was not willing to run the snake again or change the head because it wouldn't do any good he said. yet before the invention of this hydro jet the rooter method was what plumbers did. angry at myself for falling for it and to top it off he wound up running the charges on a card that I didn't want him to use. I can see why this company has so many awful reviews. These guys are terrible people and do not deserve anyone's business. One of their workers (guy with gray slicked back hair in most of the photos) blasted sand all over the side of my car with a pressure washer and as soon as he saw me looking he turned his back and pretended like nothing was happening. Wouldn't even acknowledge me as I was taking pictures of my car and his van. He was smart enough to ask my neighbor to move his bmw, but did not give me the same courtesy for some reason. The psi he was using was strong enough to peel paint off of the sidewalk. I know this because I saw him doing it. Not only is my car trashed but they left the whole sidewalk and street a mess with sand and mud. Tried calling and emailing the number on the van for a resolution and have still not heard anything back. Today he was back with another younger guy (one pictured on this page with the beard "fixing" someone's sink) and they both stared me down and said "are you the one who called our office?" I said yeah I called the office, you blasted sand all over my car you dumb*ss. They threw their hands up as if they wanted to fight. Don't give these morons your business. Does NOT honor warranty. Owner, Abraham, will tell it's not covered by the warranty before he even knows the problem. He will use every excuse in the book to not honor his warranty. His sewer line replacement started getting roots in it in a section that he replaced. Without even seeing it, he says it's not coming from his work. How do you know? "I just know." But he was wrong. The roots are coming from one of his sewer line joints. read more

What was thought to have been a minor plumbing issue...later turned into a plumbing disaster that would eventually end up being costly. It was discovered that we had roots from our orange tree that were digging up and tearing into the pipes underneath our house. Thankfully I contacted Rooter Master Plumbing, which I was referred to by a friend. Harley was the point guy who assessed the situation and his crew led by Victor did a tremendous and professional job. To summarize what Harley and his team did, they first excavated underneath our house... second they manually removed the roots that were going into the pipes... lastly they redirected the pipe structure to prevent a situation like this from happening again. Now comes the dreadful part.. the payment... most businesses would treat customers as that... a customer... but Rooter Master Plumbing, headed by Abraham, saw their customers as humans... understanding that everyone goes through financial difficulties at some point in their life, Abraham and his company was able to work something out with me so that we are able to pay our debt in a timely manner. I may be overly dramatic by saying this, but this simple gesture of showing us humanity, really sets this company apart from the rest when majority of businesses are only concerned with dollar signs... With that said, I look to continue using this company for any future plumbing projects. I was very happy that my plumber from Rooter Master was Melbi. A young, but clever and experienced plumbing technician with a "never say die" attitude. She looked at my clogged drain from every direction until she found the problem and resolved it. She was relentless and let me know that hell or high water, she was going to get this fixed. I am a widow trying to take care of an aging home with some older plumbing. I appreciate having a woman willing to talk to me about my plumbing...and not like I was the dumbest person on Earth. I have had a male technician tell me that their opinion was the one that mattered and my 35 years of experiences this home meant nothing to him, in fact he laughed at me for insisting pumping the septic tank was not the problem. The tank was drained and it was not the solution, yet it cost me $450.00. Melbi listened to me, explored my first hand knowledge of my plumbing then, using her expertise and fixed it. I'm a property manager for a apartment building in NOHO. I called Abraham and was quoted $150 to snake and run a camera through my courtyard drain to find out why the drain continues to clog. There also was a possibility for more work re-routing the drain line. Abraham comes out as scheduled, runs the snake and camera through the lines, goes over it with me and at the end asks about payment. I told him to send me the photos and videos along with the invoice and I will send all information to accounting to get a check cut. He emailed me photos proving the he was here doing the work along with the invoice, but no camera footage from snaking the line. Starting the day after, he began persistently texting me, calling me, emailing me about payment. I told him we're a corporation and payments need to go through our accounting office so give it time to process so we can cut a check. 48 hours later from the day of service I receive an email from him threatening to put a mechanics lien on the property for non-payment. In my 17 years of being in the Real Estate Business, I have never experienced a vendor so unprofessional. I tried calling to reason with him, also asking for the video of the surveillance we never received and he continued with the threats, yelling saying that we were trying not to pay him for his work and if we wanted to pay him by check we needed to be a part of some sort of vendor program with his company. I told him that if I would have known that when I initially called we wouldn't be having this problem, but he never told me that. He says he won't give us the camera surveillance that we bargained for until we pay him. Highly advise to run the other direction and find another vendor. read more

I had an amazing experience with Rooter Master. The outside area drains of one of our commercial buildings were overflowing & it was about to flood towards a tenants home. Thankfully Abraham answered immediately when I called him & his team came out to assess the situation. I remember Victor as one of the specialists, he made it very easy to communicate and handled everything in a calmly manner even though it was a stressful situation. They snaked the street drain & pulled out huge clumps of roots that had it all clogged up. They fixed everything within hours and gave us advice on what to look out for next time this happens. abraham told me that i HAD to clean out the scale on my mainline sewer pipe and promised me that he could do it for $650.00 by using a pressure head; he used the head and the scale was exactly the same; then he said since that did not work he has to use another head for more money and if that did not work then a descale for yet more money; when i said that he told me the first treatment would work, he waffled and said he did not say that (an untruth! he bragged about how effective his very expensive head was); i told him not to do anything more; i called another HONEST plumber who said that the scale on my pipe was no problem, that it was what should be expected on a home my age, and that i did not need to do anything; abraham promised me one thing and then did not deliver and tried to upsell me TWO MORE things that did not need to be done; he is a dishonest man; avoid him read more

We have used Rooter Master Plumbing for many years and they never let us down. This week end I had a big dinner party planned and our kitchen sink got clogged up. I called on Saturday and told them all about my emergency and they were at the house within a couple of hours. Go to find out that after they took pictures of our pipes under the house, one of the joints was leaking. Our house was built in 1951 and after all this time they wear out. They made it possible for us to have the dinner party and came back the next day to finish replacing all the pipes and joints under the house. They are not cheap but they aren't the most expensive. I called Rooter Master for a clogged landscape drain behind our pool. Rooter Master found our drainage pipes were full of dirt and roots. Jimmy, Ray and Nick worked hard for four days and were able to clear out our pipes. Can't praise these three enough for their hard work and professionalism. This company accidentally broke through the wall from the outside into the inside of my house. When I identified the matter they refused to pay for a licensed contractor to fix the damage and insisted on doing it themselves. The job was horrible and it is going to cost me over $1,000 to fix. The owner tried to deny responsibility based on the fine print on the back of his contract which no-one pays attention to and did not relieve him of liability anyway. He sent one of his workers to look at the damage and his own employee said the paint didn't match and was going to have to be redone. I am going to have to sue Rooter Master in small claims court. RUN from this company and find a reputable one. read more

Had extensive work done on very old parts of my sewer line under the house. Abe was courteous, as were all of his workers. Being a single person and caretaker of my elderly mother, I did not have 5,000 dollars just laying around for this dire emergency.....Abe was kind enough to allow me to post date a few checks which i gave him, and i was able to pay it all off completely in about 21 days. It was probably a hardship on his company but there was no other way I could have had the job done, and he did get the full amount so there was a plus side for both of us. Not everyone in a nice neighborhood has a lot of cash on hand : ( I appreciate what Abe did. I gave one of his workers copper coil to recycle and also offered my mother's new dining room table she decided not to keep ( which was in storage in our garage ). I would recommend Rooter Master. All the staff communicates well, has very good manners, and does their best to do a good job. read more
