Our friends recommended them to us, and they did not disappoint. The owner Joey and his crew (Ivan and Art) showed up right away after we had an unexpected water heater and laundry room flooding. The guys did not hesitate and got right to work. Upon the initial tasks, more damage was revealed and they extended their time to us to ensure everything was replaced and taken care of. They recommended we move our water heater outside which would also, allow us to finally move our washer and dryer to another designated area to create more space and flow in the back porch..... it's like an entire new addition to our home now! In fact, we were never provided an assessment of the problems on the ignition system of our water heater. A second plumbing company and the water heater manufacturer both informed me that the services Make It Right proposed would not solve the problem we were having. The same nonsense was repeated to me by a manager, so this wasn't just one rogue technician. This company's business model is to exploit unknowing homeowners. Davenport himself did not show up, but instead had two workers that would not qualify as licensed. One knew what he was doing, and the other was a novice trainee. This was back in July 2013. It is now 2020 and in the seven years I have had numerous pipe leaks due to poor soldering and workmanship. Pay more and get less is not good business. I highly do not recommend using Davenport Plumbing.
