DO NOT USE. This company is a total fraud. The technician quoted my elderly mother for thousands of dollars in repairs that were not necessary for the problem we were experiencing. In fact, we were never provided an assessment of the problems on the ignition system of our water heater. A second plumbing company and the water heater manufacturer both informed me that the services Make It Right proposed would not solve the problem we were having. I called the company to give them a chance to explain why we were quoted for these extraneous activities when they would not address the concern we reached out to them for. The same nonsense was repeated to me by a manager, so this wasn't just one rogue technician. This company's business model is to exploit unknowing homeowners. I will be filing a complaint with the California Contractor's State License Board. For anyone else being duped by this exploitative company, their California license number is 1003470. read more

We had a flooding under the house and sewer was backed up. We had to turn off the main water line. I found the company online and they came within 30mins and fixed the problem within 40mins.... I called make it right services for a sewer leak repair on Sunday morning. I was told there would be an extra charge for coming out being it was a Sunday. I agreed since I was eager to repair the issue. I then Got a call informing me the tech was not gonna make do to an emergency, they also told me that for the inconvenience they would be waiving the $200 inspection fee and giving me a $20 credit. I was scheduled for Monday from 8-10am. At 9:45am I received a call from someone informing me my tech would be 30min late. When the tech finally arrived he informed me there was a $300 fee for checking the issue and refused to check. He then referred me to calling another service company for the repair. One of my units had no hot water. They scheduled an appointment for next day, and arrived at scheduled time. The plumber called me 5 minutes after arrival stating that there was an internal issue with my tankless, and if would be $7500 to replace, and $2500 if I just want to get my own and they do the labor. Make it Right was hired to find a gas that SoCal gas and Southland Heating and Air could not find. It took Jesus about an hour and he found the gas leak about a foot from the meter itself. That's $550. That's not fixed - that's just found. An additional $1400 was needed to "fix" this problem. So $1950 for the solution. That seemed to be high to us. Your call. Bottom line - they found the leak which Southland Heating could not - or was not willing to do. read more

I apologize for the late review. I used Make It Right on April 10, 2020. I had a very leaky shower issue. I sent a message on Yelp, and Make It Right was the first one to respond back. Within minutes. I set up my appointment, the technician Gabriel arrived on time. Did a thorough inspection, explained the problem, why it happened and gave me 2 good solutions. I choose one solution, made an appointment for Friday. Make It Right came on time and began working. They worked about 3 hours. They tested my shower to make sure everything was working, cleaned up behind themselves and that was that. I would definitely recommend them to anyone have any plumbing issues. Their prices were fair, very punctual (coming to inspect and work) and they are open 24 hrs. They really deserve 10 stars. I solely went based off of the reviews and I couldn't be more pleased. Eddy & Tony showed up right on time. They were both courteous, respectable and knowledgeable. They replaced the toilet and did not try to up sell my parents who are elderly. They honored the price which they quoted. Often times when elderly customers are involved companies try and take advantage. That was not the case with these guys. They were polite respectful and made sure my mom and Dad were both satisfied. I can't comment on the actual plumbing service, because they never made it out to my home. I had an appointment for a technician to come between 2-4pm, so I sat at home and waited for them during that time. I missed a call from the company at 3:26pm. I finally spoke to them at 3:45pm, and they said the earliest they could have someone out was an hour. I have plans after 4pm. I will find a different plumbing service that values my time and will arrive when they say they will and does't leave me waiting around unnecessarily for hours. read more

The company was highly unprofessional during an appointment I had to clear roots from my main drain line. After the plumber had started the job, I noticed that his tool was broken. He was attempting to clear the line with the cutter missing from the end of the auger cable. I questioned what he was doing and he said he would call his company regarding what to do. He packed up his equipment and went to his truck. I waited several minutes, called the company and explained what happened. The rep said he would call me back. Half an hour later, I noticed the plumber was gone. I called the rep and he said he tried calling me and claimed the call did not go thru. Basically, they had just given up on the job and left. I did not have any missed calls on my phone and prior calls from the company went thru. They left things in a bad way. I had made my appointment early in the morning and now it was after 3 pm on Saturday of a holiday weekend --too late to get another plumber. Their next availability was three days later and I could not use my plumbing. Moreover, the plumber left the drain cleanout open--a safety hazard. read more
