I will say I used this company once before and they found I had a broken sewer line so I paid $2500.00 to have it repaired with a new clean-out installed as well. Ok. No problem, justifiably so. They explained the new clean-out would make things much easier to unclog the line if needed. So last week I had both toilets backed up and it was coming up into the bathtub as well. I called them again and a young man who had only been with the company a couple of months named Rich or Rick shows up and says he cant go through the new clean-out because the clog is before the clean-out. So why did I pay this company $2500.00? The clean-out is a two way clean-out? Then he tells me he has to pull my toilet. I told him I have another clean-out by the kitchen and that is where the last guys from his company went through. So he then tells me he is not comfortable going through there because if his line gets stuck I will be responsible as the home owner to have to pay to dig it out, and that could be thousands of dollars. So I told him to pull the toilet then but asked him to caulk the base of the toilet when he was done. He tells me that will be another $150.00 on top of what he was charging me to pull the toilet. I told him to forget caulking it then. He comes out of the bathroom a couple of minutes later and tells me he cant pull the toilet because my angle valve to turn the water off behind the toilet is broken. So I told him to turn the main water line off at the alley, Pull the toilet, snake it and be done with the whole thing. He had an excuse for everything! So he tells me he has to call his supervisor. I told him that this is what they did to me last time and they talked into a new clean-out which he said he couldn't use. He walked out to call his supervisor and you know what he did? HE WALKED OFF THE JOB AND LEFT ME STRANDED!!! No supervisor showed up either! Now it is late in the afternoon and I'm scrambling to get someone out because I have an 80 year old in the home who needs her bathroom and everyone else needs showers for work the next day. I finally got a hold of Roto- Rooter and they were the only one who could come out that day. Everyone else was booked up till two days later. So I had to pay more because it became after hours but you know what the guy from Roto-Rooter did? He turned the water off at the main line, pulled the toilet, snaked it and had the problem done in no time, and my son replaced the valve for $15.00. Don't hire Rooter Ranger. They will tag team you into believing you need to pay for things you don't. Or worse... Just walk off the job!!! I would have given zero stars if I could! read more

Our sewer line was damaged under our concrete slab, under our dining room floor. After getting a few estimates from other companies with no call backs I called Rooter Ranger. Jordan promptly scheduled a service call with Adrian to camera scope the sewer line to determine extent of damage & best solution which was to route a new line out the side of our house. They followed up with me to get the work scheduled. They brought in a scanning company to map out the post tension cables within our slab, and followed with the concrete cutting company that they work closely with on all of their projects. Despite finding out we had a 8" slab to get through, the cutters completed their cuts, jackhammering and tear out with three new square cut openings in the slab. The dirt excavation began and an atypically located water line was nicked. Adrian and Dan got it repaired and we were back in business. Dan worked tirelessly digging and tunneling under the floor back to a stable section of line to tie into. He worked into New Year's Eve late night running the new line out and along the side to the front of house. He and Ernesto were back New Year's Day to complete the back fill and landscape put back to its original appearance into that evening. Dan also spent time and materials cleaning front interior of home. Incredible work ethic! Armando came and put in the new concrete which took a several days to dry but turned out perfectly. Then the carpet was professionally re-stretch installed. Although we ended up with a lot of concrete dust, Jordan brought in a cleaning company to do our whole house which was very much appreciated. While it was week plus long project Rooter Ranger always maintained communication and we felt confident the job would get completed to our satisfaction at all times. Called Rooter Ranger on a Sunday afternoon after realizing we had a serious sewage problem, starting with a toilet that was leaking onto the floor. After removing the toilet and seeing standing water in the drain pipe, we called Rooter Ranger and spoke with Kylee around 7:40 PM. She was so professional and asked many pertinent questions. She dispatched a tech who called us within 15 minutes to say he was headed to Avondale for a job and would call us when he finished. At 10:15 PM, I called the tech (Stacy) to ask that he or another tech come by in the morning. The next morning, Adrian arrived and snaked out the drain only to find that tree roots had grown into the pipe and had partially closed it off. He then contacted his supervisor to request a camera to better diagnose our situation. Soon afterwards, Jarrod arrived with the camera and discovered we had two separate closures and a misalignment with the connection to the city sewer line near the street. Jarrod was efficient and very knowledgeable and advised us to call our insurance company to schedule repair service. I would highly recommend Rooter Ranger Plumbing for any type of plumbing service as their staff is easy to work with, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I called Rooter Ranger about 4 weeks ago when plumbers showed up earlier that day who were not licensed, and I sent them on their way leaving me with 3 demolished bathrooms. I decided to go online around 3PM and just try and find a plumber who could install a vanity for me at that point. Casey showed up around 4, gave me a competitive price and informed me that he wasn't leaving until the vanity was installed. Bobby joined him around 6:30 and they reworked the pipes in my bathroom and installed the vanity, grout, etc. It was beautiful and worked perfectly. I asked them to quote on all of the plumbing that I needed for my town home. It was competitive and they started the next morning. I don't think Yelp will allow me enough space to say all of the great things that I have to say about this amazing company. They worked around my schedule, were kind, professional, clean and extremely knowledgeable. Even though none of my work was a plumbing emergency, they even worked until 11:45 PM one night--they just wanted to help me get the job wrapped up quickly. My kitchen sink packed up and threatened to cancel my arrangements to host thanksgiving at my house. I had everything going, everything was planned and everyone was coming over later in the day. I called them mid morning and the owner (Jordan) assured me they could have someone over promptly. Within less than an hour a technician (Adrian) was at our door-step and proceeded to cable our line. He explained to us that over time, grease had solidified down that line and without a camera, he had to guess that this was the cause of the blockage. At first the cabling wasn't doing the trick but his persistence payed off and the sink finally drained. He was very knowledgable and made me feel at ease that this could be figured out in a timely fashion. I'm having them camera my entire house when I get back in town after Christmas. As it's a mid-century house with the original cast-iron, which I'm learning has run its course of reliability. I am going to have them do an entire re-pipe on my house most likely, depending on what they find as other problems have arisen and I don't plan on moving soon. Having someone at my door on Thanksgiving morning after calling two other companies with no answer is all I need. The whole team of Rooter Ranger, from the operator to the technicians were extremelty friendly and very knowledgeable. Recommend them to anyone. Great prices also. On christmas eve what a time to have our main clogged. Both bathrooms wouldn't flush and showers were backing up. Called Rooter Ranger and their staff was very professional on the phone and was able to fit us in right away. Within an hour of calling Carlos came to the house to assess the situation and proceeded to tell me he thought it was tree roots in the main and would send in his snake to clear the clog initially. Took him about 30 min of work to ensure the main was clear in both directions and recommended we send a camera down the line to see what was up since the guy with the camera was only a few minutes away. Once he got here we looked in both directions and tree roots were starting to get into the ceramic seams toward the street and they recommeded jetting the pipes to clean that up. When then looked toward the house they saw a large ball of roots about 25' up the line and said that is cast iron pipe and since roots were in the pipe then there was hole in the pipe to let them in. well looks like the grandson gets to dig a hole this weekend. read more

I called a co-worker's son (Marcos Sandersius),who's a plumber, because my kitchen sink was backing up into the kitchen toilet and bathtub. He gave me his brother Adrian's number who so happened to work for Rooter Ranger. They came out on Saturday, snaked and found a soft clog under the house. The next day, Sunday, hydro blasted it and couldn't get it to completely flush through. Came back the same day with a camera and realized the old plumbing was caput. Needed to R/R the old plumbing. We negotiated the work to be done and what they explained seemed reasonable. My house is 74 years old. It wasn't inexpensive by any means, close to 24,000. but the started right away. Dug up the front circular driveway in sections to accommodate the daily use for us and had it all done and put back together by that Saturday afternoon. Thank you Christopher Bal. My patio bathroom clogged up. I pulled the potty and couldn't get through it with a hand snake. I could have borrowed an electric snake but I thought for 47 dollars, I'd let a professional do it. I didn't expect it to be 47, more 75-100 but I just wanted it cleared properly - I actually did the rough in and finished plumbing for my pool-side ramada 25 years ago, so I'm somewhat handy, but I've got a lousy snake drain record. I set up a same day appointment on a Friday and Orlando called me within 30 minutes to give an arrival estimate. He and his helper Don (they totally did not get my Orlando&Dawn reference) took a look at my stool stack and said 47 bucks. Okay. It took a few passes- this toilet is on its own leg to the main off the house and hasn't gotten a lot of flushes. It took about 20 minutes of snake work and I watched through the down stream clean out as the clog broke up and cleared. Really nice young men and yes, it was 47 dollars. Our main line backed up into our kitchen sink at 5:15am (ughhh the smell!!), contacted Rooter Ranger Plumbing at around 6:30am, they got back to me within a short timeframe and set-up for a technician to come out, Gabe, who arrived around 10am. Upon inspecting the issue and clearing the sink he brought in Mike to run a camera and see exactly what was preventing the snake from moving forward. 35+ years of gunk and never cleaned before mains that run out about 120 feet from the house to the city line, is what was causing the problem. They let us know our options, we went with the hydro jet option, expensive but Alfredo did a wonderful job in clearing the lines, by 9pm the problem was solved for good. Mike came back out to video the lines, a world of difference in the two videos letting us know we got our money's worth when all the lines were cleared, except for a portion running from the end of our line to the city line where there was a lip. Alfredo came back out the next day and cleared that part out also. Definitely will be using these guys again, thanks so much! read more

Called around 8:30 A.M., the customer service lady (can't remember her name) was very nice, knew what I was talking about when I said I have a leak on the thingy that connects to.... She was professional and set me up for an appt quick. Adrien showed up well within the time frame I was given for the appt. He was courteous and explained my options for the issues I had. Adrien did a fantastic job correcting an issue I had without tearing out my shower wall like a different company wanted to. He is very knowledgable and instead of just jumping to the easiest (most destructive) way to repair, he took a moment to think of different options, and discussed them with me. To me, that is a professional that cares about the customer instead of just getting a job done quick. I appreciate the work he did, and saved me from spending to repair shower wall tiles. We had called for a simple snake for the main line on a late Friday afternoon. Adrian came out they and found that it wasn't simply plugged, their was some kind of serious blockage. Said would be back with camera line to see what we were dealing with, but cleared enough so it was usable temporarily. With the camera line, he showed the results to my husband who could see it was exactly what he said it was. A hole in the pipe that tree roots grew into. He told us how much it would be, how fast they could be out, and how long it would take, and called the city to mark electrical wires first. They finished on time with almost no interruption of water use. Teyon (TE-on) was the technician that did the huge job digging 7 feet down and then under our driveway so it wouldn't have to be broken and replaced the piece of pipe. He was fantastic to work with and could not have been nicer. Everyone there went above and beyond. This is the only plumber in my contacts now. I will forgo my home warranty and call this company instead. read more

Mikey is AMAZING! He is very professional, attentive to details and gets the job done. He came out to our commercial property due to a clogged toilet. He made sure to have open communication with myself and the landlord. When our landlord was throwing us through the rings, Mikey had one goal, get the problem resolved! He even came back the next day after he couldn't continue due to building access restrictions to finish the job. When he located the problem he was already ready to move on to resolve out pipe issue. I love that he realized that he had fixed the issue so we could at least use the restroom but also told us an honest professional advice of the condition of our pipes. They were trashed!! I called rooter ranger and I was connected quickly with a customer service rep that was very courteous and let me know that they would have someone out in approximately 2 hours even though it's a Friday night. I said great. Adrian showed up in about an hour. He was courteous as well and went straight to diagnoising my leaky pipe connected to my tub. He quickly found the issue and without trying to tell me plumbing horror stories to jack the price up he told me it was a very minor issue and explained to me what the problem was. He sealed up the leak and didn't charge me since he didn't have to take apart anything or replace anything. He let me know what the cost would be if the pipe replacement had to occur which frankly was more than reasonable. A company with integrity, expertise, and professionalism is unfortunately an exceedingly rare thing, however rooter ranger is one of those companies. I had big problem with my toilet, it had been clogged for 4-5 days and the small was so bad. I contacted some plumbers in Lake Forest, CA by phone and text but didn't received any answer from them. We recently had a leak that we were unable to detect the origination. Received a call within hours of speaking with a tech to schedule an appointment. Danny (tech) arrived quickly and took the time to really inspect all variables to try to determine the source of the problem. Other plumbers we had called gave up within 20 minutes of not being able to locate the source of the leak; however, Danny took the extra step to eliminate all options until he finally located the problem. It was well past 8pm and into the night and he still offered to stay and complete the job. We opted to reschedule and he was diligent about calling to schedule a time that worked best for OUR family, not just a time that worked best for him. Rooter Ranger is by far the best plumbing company I have ever called to help us out. My first experience was a break in a water line for my pool. It happened on a Sunday. Jordan called one of his employees not afraid to work on a weekend took care of the break in such a fast response I saved a lot of money just in water loss. Thank you Rooter Ranger. Last week I happened to mention that my fire pit had not worked in two years. Danny from Rooter Ranger came by early in the morning I showed him a few things I thought were the problem. What a great experience for a change...First of all we are way out of their service area. After I explained that my main sewer line appeared to be backed up and we could not use the toilets they said they would come out. Adrian was great. Great personality. Very friendly and professional. He answered all of my questions as he surveyed the house fixtures and located the clean outs. He informed me what his plan of action was. I agreed so he went to work. Cleared the lines and had my system working in short order. I was expecting a LARGE $$$ charge since he had to come so far. I was very pleasantly surprised at the more than reasonable bill.
