My new post-workout smoothie!…read more I've been visiting Juice Crafters almost every day for the past two weeks. It's the perfect cooldown in hot weather or after a workout. Compared to the other smoothie and juice shops nearby, Juice Crafters does have the best selection for the price. I especially like their non-dairy milk and date-based smoothies--lots of creaminess and natural sweetness. There are two standard sizes 16 oz and 24 oz. I usually order the Silver Cup, which is a blend of dates, walnuts, kale, and almond milk. I have to get my daily intake of veggies somehow, right? I consider it pretty filling, but I wish there was more consistency with the consistency. If there are too many walnuts, it does tend to get a little chalky. Obvi, it doesn't bother me too much, because I order it nearly everyday. There isn't cafe seating, but I usually drink the smoothie when I'm on the go anyway. They share the same parking lot with Gelson's Market, so I've never had trouble finding a spot. The spaces right out front are 15 min max, so there is usually at least one spot open. Service is typical. Staff do an excellent job keeping it clean. There are never 3 customers at a time, even on the weekends, which has been nice.

I got a simple double espresso, and it was smooth, though I wish they served to-stay orders in mugs instead of paper cups. It's a relatively small spot, but there is some bar seating and a handful of tables in the back. Not the most comfortable seating, but it's fine for a short visit. The background music wasn't my fave style for a chill morning, but the baristas were super nice. I'd definitely come back to try other items on the menu. She ensured that was the color of the toast. She even showed me a piece of bread from a container. I thought maybe it was a slightly burned around the edges and not the center. But it was the center as well. And the prepare, which was the server, she knew this because she's the one who topped it off with the avocado spread. That's too bad to serve your customers burnt toast like that and you literally knew it was burnt. Again, the person who took my order she was friendly. She was nice and she was willing to remake another one. So this has nothing to do with that particular lady. Maybe the other lady was distracted by her kid. She had a kid with her on the job.

The woman who made my drink, who I believe is the manager/owner, spoke to me with a real sense of kindness, and I really appreciated that. I was a little surprised by the prices but I have a feeling they were normal for the area. The smoothie I chose had pomegranate juice, blueberries, agave, and yogurt (I may be missing an ingredient), and it was FANTASTIC. Like, I felt like I would pay even more for it. It was a nicely dense, yet creamy concoction, and it made me realize I should be drinking more smoothies than tea lattes and boba. So now I guess I'd better go get more reed dispensers for my place so that I have an excuse to get another smoothie!
