My new post-workout smoothie! I've been visiting Juice Crafters almost every day for the past two weeks. It's the perfect cooldown in hot weather or after a workout. Compared to the other smoothie and juice shops nearby, Juice Crafters does have the best selection for the price. I especially like their non-dairy milk and date-based smoothies--lots of creaminess and natural sweetness. There are two standard sizes 16 oz and 24 oz. I usually order the Silver Cup, which is a blend of dates, walnuts, kale, and almond milk. I have to get my daily intake of veggies somehow, right? I consider it pretty filling, but I wish there was more consistency with the consistency. If there are too many walnuts, it does tend to get a little chalky. Obvi, it doesn't bother me too much, because I order it nearly everyday. There isn't cafe seating, but I usually drink the smoothie when I'm on the go anyway. They share the same parking lot with Gelson's Market, so I've never had trouble finding a spot. The spaces right out front are 15 min max, so there is usually at least one spot open. Service is typical. Staff do an excellent job keeping it clean. There are never 3 customers at a time, even on the weekends, which has been nice. read more

I liked it. Nice little place to get a healthy snack. Came in after a run for an acai bowl. It's a small shop. No seating inside, but there's a couple benches outside. Probably better as a to-go option. Got the acai protein bowl. So good. A good portion of strawberries, bananas, and nuts. Light and refreshing after a run. They also have other fruit bowls, smoothies, and juices so I'll definitely be coming back to try more. Service was good. Friendly staff. Easy parking in the shopping center lot. read more

First time trying juice crafters today and it definitely won't be my last I ordered me a watermelon juice today through Uber Eats & it did not disappoint. I'm currently 9 weeks pregnant and haven't been able to enjoy much food or drinks (including water) but I said I'd give a fruit drink a try and it is the first thing that has tasted great to me in a while. This is right up my alley! I had just exited Griffith Park and decided to grab a smoothie, but then saw this place which advertised an acai bowl with cacao. See photo attached. It was my favorite part of what I bought and not something you can get at any smoothie shop or health store (it's good quality ingredients). Their smoothie was also pretty good, but I highly recommend their acai bowl. Yes, it's as pricy as the neighborhood and grocery store it's adjacent too. Heard about this place and just happened to be working close by on my break; Not only was the Acai bowl delicious and made proportionately perfect but it was made fast! I saw so many things on the menu that I wanted to try but I heard about the Acai and how they use excellent ingredients compared to other local places I've tried and I was NOT disappointed. The açaí protein bowl is AMAZING! It is incredibly filing and feels like you are having dessert. All of the toppings (fresh strawberries and a whole banana +hemp seeds)are delicious and the large scoop of almond butter adds a satisfying creaminess. read more

Parking is easy, it's in a large grocery complex. We ordered: Juice - greenest plus #3.5 - kale, spinach, parsley, cucumber, celery, pineapple, lemon, turmeric, and ginger. It was not balanced, there was way too much lemon in it and that overpowered everything. Smoothie - divine start - kale, spinach, celery, coconut H2O, coconut meat, chia seeds, apple, flax seeds, dates, agave, and spirulina. This was pretty balanced and tasted good. Açaí kale bowl - Amazonian açaí, banana, kale, and spinach. Toppings - banana, pineapple, coconut flakes and walnut. Really tasty but this bowl would have been amazing if it had more of the walnut pieces. No seating indoors. You can try and grab a seat outside the Starbucks area. Thought I'd do something different for breakfast and try this place. I ordered the açaí protein bowl at first then decided to get the dragonfruit bowl instead. Here's what a $12.30 dragonfruit bowl is about - I can't believe I spent that much. The dragonfruit is the base but it was actually a very sorbet or smoothie, no real fruit. There's no mention of this in their menu. This was a huge disappointment. I ordered it for the dragonfruit. There was, however, plenty of granola, good fruit, and flax. It's best to share this (or any) bowl. It's not only a large portion, it's full of sugar. I realized how full of sugar it was when my heart started racing. So much for my first experience. I'll probably give it another shot and get the açaí protein bowl instead. read more

Smoothies are just okay. Lack flavor and just tastes like some ice slush. I got the "U like Um" which was almond milk, strawberries, dates, & vanilla. It was $6.99 for 16oz. Smoothies range from $7-10 which is a little steep for what it actually is. They are also not blended really well. I got huge chunks in mine. Not a big fan! There are a lot of options-- most of which include banana which I personally am not a fan of so my options were limited. But they have a lot of cool ingredients like golden berries, dragon fruit, maca powder, amazonian acai, etc. THey also have acai bowls, health shots, hemp seed oil beverages, and juice cleanses. Parking is super convenient but the store is pretty small. No seating area except for the one in front of starbucks. read more

Acai bowl review. THE BOWL: I'll get straight to the point. I came here to try the acai bowl and I completely DISAGREE with people saying "best acai bowl in LA." It's not. I went with the basic bowl - the Brazilian Super Blend, and I had previously noted in a review that they blend the acai with banana. I'm eating the bowl as I write this. The base tastes super bland. It's also semi-liquidy. When I asked the employee about the banana, she responded that without banana it would be very thick. I decided to keep it the way they make it, and I wouldn't order it again. I love this place and their amazing açaí bowls! They include tax in their prices which I love so you can get an açaí bowl for $9 and it is a solid meal and half! I love Juice Crafters... especially their Crunchy Monkey less the dates. My only complaint is that all of their acai has guarana in it. Not everyone wants caffeine. On a super hot day, this place hits the spot. My boyfriend had stopped in to grab me a smoothie and an açaí bowl for himself. He brought it home and my smoothie was super fresh. I got the Green Island and it sure tasted green but in a good way! I thought it was a pretty big size too and took me awhile to finish it but I was very satisfied with it. I lied that I could taste the veggies in it. I also had a bite of the açaí bowl and it was really good. There was something crunchy in it that gave it a really good texture. Maybe some type of nut but I had to restrain myself from taking more than one bite and taking over his bowl. We would definitely go back for our next açaí/ smoothie fix. read more

Honestly I'm not quite sure why I still come here. None of the employees know how to make a drink it's as if they're not even trained properly when they are hired. Every time I get the exact same drink it's always a surprise as to how it's going to taste. One day you can't even get through the drink because there's so much cacao nibs on the bottom other days you're crunching on ice the entire time for your drink is so loaded with walnuts it's like drinking walnut juice. I'm not quite sure where the miscommunication is between the entire staff but every single person makes the drink completely differently from the taste to the texture. Love coming to this place for solid meal replacement smoothies that taste great and actually keep me full for a large portion of the day. Fair prices too (mostly $8-$10 smoothies). My favorites are the Summerland and Silver Cup (swapping the walnuts for almonds since I'm allergic to walnuts). Haven't tried out any of their juices yet, but their wellness shots are also really good - especially the ginger cayenne for when you feel a cold coming on. Very small interior that's mostly just a checkout counter, but the tables outside of Starbucks are free to use. Also never that busy when I come in, and sometimes they'll have free smoothie samples out for customers while you wait to order. read more

I really have loved Juice Crafters since I moved to LA several years back. I have tried other juice places before but always tended to end up with an upset stomach, but not here! The place always appears to be very clean and the staff are always friendly. Parking is reasonable but during peak times like weekends you may have to drive around a few times because it also shares the lot with a grocery store. Most of these are small on the inside, no indoor seating or outdoor, you may get lucky and find a bench but that's about it. It's definitely a grab and go spot. Two things I particularly enjoyed about this location the Grow-een grab and go lunches and snacks. Some of my favorites included the protein bites and hummus, but they also have sandwich meals as well. I also really enjoyed their loyalty program with the punch card, where you got a free drink after a certain number. My three star review is regarding the abrupt change that was made recently. When I travel out of state I always loved getting the Grow-een prior to flights because the food was always reliable, healthy and well packaged. I was super disappointed when I walked in this week and it was no longer on the shelves, after years of it being there. There was no explanation for the change either. I was super thrown and disappointed. The other great thing about having Groween on the shelves was variety. When I went in there were only two options (if that, I can only remember one) from a brand I've never heard of and was not at all enthused to eat. Groween also had a lot of vegan options and although the pre-made options were vegan there was zero variety. As a regular Juice Crafters goer who would buy a Groween product with every juice I am so disappointed. I LOVE this Juice Crafters. It's near my place and the staff is always friendly. I usually come here to get my protein fix if I'm in a hurry and can't have a meal. I get the Flax Power which has the same amount of protein as The Muscle Builder but less sugar + fat. You can see their nutritional details upon request. The acai bowls are good too!
