they don't give you back the cash advances for debit or credit purchases which normally becomes two dollars here or three dollars there . I think it's best to just pay cash and avoid debit or credit purchases. I feel like I'm not the only one not getting that cash advance back I don't complain about it. Had a short living stint in Sun Valley; came across this dispensary whilst exploring the city, (I've lived in multiple cities in the SFV, first time in SV) and I was very impressed upon entering. The lobby was clean and the security guard behind the plexiglass was friendly, attentive and informative. I received a discount for being a FTP, (can't remember exactly what my percentage off was) and left with an 1/8th of some flower for only 20! I went back a few more times thereafter, once for a 1g vape cartridge of some fire Jack Herer and another for a STIIIZY vape battery; each time only spending $20, (cash, mind you) OTD! I loved the ambiance inside; it's clean, colorful and temperatures are nice, whether it's hot, warm, cold, or freezing outside lol. This place sells reggie! The displays are below par, the selection of flower is limited, they say there is a 25% discount Monday thru Wednesday but I never experienced it. I was even supposed to receive at least 5% off for it being my first time and guess what? Never received that either . Customer service was unsatisfactory as well, the associates were pushy and did not have any adequate suggestions or knowledge of the products they were selling. If first impressions last a lifetime then I should expect to get ripped off for the rest of my life here. Was overcharged by $70 on a $100 purchase....seriously. First I was told I could get 30% off pre- rolls. I got two 5 packs and two individual pre rolls and only got 30% on one and 20% on the rest. You offer a discount, then take it away, then over charge by $70. Great first impression. Not sure how you could ever expect me to go back. When I got the mistake I obviously got the $70 adjustment but not the additional discount. You should have given me a free joint and apologized for the mistake. Offered me a future discount to come back. Bad service, terrible math skills, not one ounce of customer service. I have found a new favourite place-Roots. They have a very fine selection of lotions and beard grooming products. Their store is always neat and clean, parking is always available and a very courteous staff. They open early in the morning and are open late. 6am to 8pm. Roots special blend Manly beard Oil has hints of peppermint and tea tree oil. It smells really good and actually softens my beard. I am also fond of their coconu Blend body lotion, A little goes a long way. They also have a large selection of refrigerated products and have all of the local brands of products. They have all the butters and many fine chocolates. Gotta support local sources. Great place for stocking stuffers. read more

One of the best LA has to offer! The people here really care about the product and customer. I talked to the manager Emily just out of luck and she really showed me how much she loved for the plant and respect for the customer. They'll straight up turn down flower from vendors if it's too old. If I'm going to pay top dollar I gotta know it was worth it, at Roots it's worth my money every time. The shop is great but the product was garbage. Picked up 1/4 of OG Kush by Zip and it was so dry with plenty of stems and gave me a headache. $58 for 7 grams was not a deal felt more ripped off. This was the first time leaving Roots not happy. This store has a variety of good products this 1/4 was some dried up backyard boogie. I'm so disappointed. I will not buy anything from Crown/zip and if I was Roots I would take it off the menu. read more
