We got the keikis ($7.25) with macadamia nut ice cream, mango strawberry passionfruit flavors, and topped with condensed milk. I liked that the ice cream had nut bits and the syrups tasted natural and were not overly sweet and artificial. Of all the shave ice shops I've had in Hawaii this is consistently my favorite one.

I've been really into espresso floats lately and I noticed they had a coffee float available. I simply can't resist coffee and ice cream. Mmmhmmm, it's totally a thing and I was stoked to see it on their menu! What I appreciate is that they use Maui Oma Coffee, a local coffee company that sources quality beans from around the world and in Hawaii. The coffee float itself was pretty good. I would've liked a bit more sweetness, but overall, I would get it again as not many offer it on their menu in town.

To get to this truck you have to enter the market which has good parking availability and only costs 25 cents to enter. Even if you're not interested in what the swap meet has to offer, the trip and cost of admission are still worth it to have some. We had the POG with a snow cap and a strawberry with a snow cap and absolutely loved the taste. The ice has a great powdery texture and the syrup soaks right into it with ease. The rest of our group got a whole bunch of different flavors and everyone was extremely happy with what they got. The service was quick and there's a small seating area with a tent so you can cool off. The best part of all of this is the pricing. You would think for $4 each you would be getting some average tasting shave ice but no, this shave ice was phenomenal. Maui is a place where prices can be high just for it being, well, Maui, so we greatly appreciate a good deal when we see it. Altogether a 10/10 experience, we greatly recommend it!

The reason we visit here is for their mochi. The mochi is some of the best I've ever had, and I have been to Japan to try theirs. The flavors are chocolate, peanut butter chocolate, and azuki bean (red bean). I'm not a peanut butter fan nor chocolate, so I just ate the red bean mochi. The mochi is so soft and the red bean filling is not too sweet and filled with a good amount of it. Since it is a family business, the hours are fluctuate constantly. There was a point where every time we visited, it was closed during our stay for 4 years straight. Check their website to confirm hours.

Com is so delicious. I put them in the refrigerator when I got home I kinda like them cold. So when I bit into my first bite I was in heaven. They're so delicious. The chocolate was perfectly sweet.
