Since the pandemic, so over 2 years I have been ordering spaghetti and lasagna for my wife and me as a treat. Usually the container is full, so two meals for me and three meals for my wife. Yesterday I ordered the same...but I noticed that the spaghetti container was only half full, half as much as usual. The lasagna container had a 3" x 3" piece of lasagna, not enough for one meal let alone 2 or 3. I paid $14.99 for that 3 x3 piece. When patrons are the life-blood of your business I don't expect to be cussed at and hung up on ever!!! I called at 4p.m. and waited on hold for 26 minutes. thinking that they forgot about me I hung up and called back. Restaurant says they use EatStreet for delivery options (so we ordered on the app) but then when you get in touch with customer service at EatStreet (since after an hour, there weren't any updates about the order being on the way), they tell you that the restaurant is using their own delivery service so to contact them. Woman on the phone was dismissive. "Chicago style pizza" is just a very thick crust dry pizza with barely any sauce and shouldn't be advertised as Chicago style. We paid extra for ranch dipping sauce that wasn't delivered. Two stars because the chopped salad and the dough bites were good. We ordered three four piece chicken dinners and one 4 piece cod dinner. All four dinners were advertised with side salad and fries. They delivered on time and the delivery guy was very pleasant. I took the bag into the house and realized there were only three dinners. None of which contained a salad. I called and said we were missing our cod dinner and all four salads. This is when I was told dinners do not come with salads and that we chose fries. We did not choose fries, We weren't told about the change of menu and paid full price. Had I known it didn't come with salad I'd have ordered one as one of the five of us doesn't eat meat. Upon opening the chicken dinners all were very well over cooked. Once we peeled the burnt skin back there was dry chicken underneath as if it were reheated. The cod was mushy. So very disappointed in this location. read more

"Up to 60 minutes" was the estimated arrival. 12:35pm rolls around, and I start to wonder...it was raining, maybe it was busy? Did my order even go through? Was it even coming? So I call the store and am told "oh yeah, its coming...we only have one driver. Its been busy so its taking longer. Thats the bad thing about ordering online, it doesn't tell you that...it should be there soon." If we had been called, we would've just picked it up. But at this point, we just waited. Now it's 1:35pm. Still no food. Starving and hangry. Call again..."oh yeah, its out for delivery, should be there in ten minutes." No apology, nothing. 1:50pm, delivery arrives. Almost three hours later. Driver apologizes after we complain, and tells us HE FORGOT PART OF THE ORDER. He leaves to go back and get it. What the hell?! Needless to say, the food was 3 hours old, dry, cold, soggy. Terrible. For reference, it was just a sandwich, fries and breaded mushrooms. They didn't even remake the food, it was really bad. We called and told the manager to void the order. The manager was the person who answered and didn't apologize every time we called. I was pretty shocked to learn that... This was not okay...it was laughable how terrible this experience was. FYI Rosati's - good food does NOT make up for atrocious customer service. read more

Rosati's is my absolute favorite pizza place. I found it by searching Yelp and reading reviews others left. I use this restaurant exclusively for pizza. Their thin crust pizza reminds me of the handmade pizzas you used you get at restaurants in Chicago before thick doughy bread crusts became the fad! Their seasoning makes me smile and remember pizza night in High School. Pizza was a treat in our soul food home so we were quite picky about them. I just feel like giggling and kicking my shoe-less feet under the table when I'm eating a Rosati's pizza. Its just to expensive, and flavorless, I used to love Rosati's in the 90's and early 2000's but, this was the last time, got a 16 inch pizza, it's as if they forgot the sauce, I had to open a can of marinara sauce at home LOL to add to it, Pizza is the most expensive and the least flavor, did they cut back on no sauce to save money? I don't know but, Pepinos, Alumni Club, DeMarini's even the Art Lounge ( I highly recommend) have way better pizza and cost less, I spent $32 on one of the worst pizza's ever. I ordered a pizza and some mozz sticks there for a pick up and when I got there at the time I scheduled it for (ordered at 10:06am for 11:15am pick-up) they said the ticket said pick up time was 11:45. This was the second time this happened to me. I showed them both the text confirming the time and the email. I asked for a refund since I couldn't wait the 1/2 hour. The woman at the front desk kept telling me over and over it would be ready at 11:45. I kept repeating that I couldn't wait. She finally said they could have it ready in 12 minutes. I fell for that the first time; not the second. I simply asked for a refund so I could go get my office a different lunch. She gave me a receipt saying it had been refunded, but 3 days later I can see it has not been charged back to my card. So basically, no lunch and they stole $26.00 from me. Drive to the store to pick up our food only to be told that the order was not filled and that they were too busy to prepare it --- the woman at the front counter told me that Eat Street (the online order app they use) should have called us and we have to "deal with them" to get my money back. Craving pizza late night? Go to the grocery store and get a frozen pizza to make at home instead. I ordered my food for delivery through grub hub at 8:17, on a Friday. My scheduled delivery time was 9:15-9:25. I called them to ask if the delivery driver had left yet with it around 9:45 and they said it "left the restaurant at 9:27". We live 5 minutes from the restaurant. Delivery driver got here at 10 pm. Gluten free crust was terrible and tasted like cardboard. The pizza boxes were soaked through with grease and flimsy.
