I am not sure why it took me so long to try Upper Crust Pizza, I've lived across the street for years. But ok, I finally tried them and it was so worth it. Life in general is so expensive and so, much like life has gotten, I thought it was a bit pricey. I ordered a small 12" Deluxe pizza; it comes with pepperoni, onions, green peeper, and sausage. This was $20. I can't speak for how the pizza used to taste, but I thought the pizza tasted good! The crust was thin. It was cooked perfectly and they were generous with the toppings, which I appreciated for the price. But let me tell you, these Buffalo Ranch chicken wings are seriously fire! If you like wings and you like Buffalo as well, you absolutely HAVE to try these wings. 10 pieces was about $13 or so. They were so delicious and cooked perfectly. I wasn't a fan of their actual ranch dressing but I always have my own anyway. The service, although not overfly friendly, was good enough for me. I don't need constant pleasantries. Food was ready in 30 minutes. I'll definitely be returning although probably not often. It's definitely worth the try. read more

The lady has never had a cheese steak so I thought that I would surprise her with one, she couldn't figure out why I locked out of the car and that was me placing the order so she couldn't hear. You can't go in because of the virus but they will bring your order out to your car. I ordered two cheese steaks on requested garlic bread because it's like bacon, it makes every sandwich better. The cheese steak comes with a bag of chips for around $9 which is comparable to the chain sandwich shops. The cheese steak looked really good at first look with melty cheese stuck to the paper. My first bite was wow because this is delicious on toasted garlic bread. The steak was real shaved steak and not a beef sandwich with cheese in disguise like some places do. The cheese was nicely melted with onions, mushrooms and green peppers which made for one great sandwich and the lady loved it, she didn't know what it was at first but figured it out. Overall we really enjoyed the cheese steak and I would definitely go back for more of the menu. This just might be my go to place for a cheese steak on garlic bread from now on. read more

Man have things gone downhill lately at Upper Crust! I've long been a huge fan of their pizza and service, preferring them to other pizza joints, especially those that are franchise or chain options. But an order on June 13 really has me questioning my loyalty to UCP. I used their website--which works pretty well--to place my order for a gathering at my house (yay vaccinations!). Sadly, the order was more than 30 minutes beyond the estimated time provided by the website and confirmation email. While the delivery driver was friendly, there was no acknowledgement of the delay or apology for the tardiness. I quickly moved to feed my hungry guests and that's when I discovered that the garlic sauce was missing from the cheese bread. That garlic sauce is what MAKES that cheese bread. Given how long it took to get my order, I didn't even bother to call and complain about it and made do without it. Jet's Pizza, here we come! read more

I absolutely love this place- usually. Their fried dough bombs are usually the best thing on the planet. However, tonight they did not do so well. I ordered one pizza, cheesy sticks, dough bombs, and a dessert at 6:10 pm for delivery. I live 3 minutes away but was feeling lazy. It said it would take 90 minutes which was a long time in the first place. At 7:50, I called and was told they were loading my food into the car. Then it took an additional 40 minutes, arriving at 8:30. 90 minutes versus 140 seems a pretty significant difference to me... Plus a few of the fried dough bombs were raw dough. read more

We ordered via GrubHub which didn't send our online order right away. We went to this location & they were very accommodating & remade what we ordered. Definitely recommend them. My favorite was the chef salad but everything was tasty for a late night snack. read more

Should use canadian bacon ham instead of diced store bought ham. The wings were normal yet still alright but way under sauced. Will try again in a couple months but this was from today. The pizza recipe has changed and not for the better. I'm guessing sometime since this past winter things really changed. I have usually ordered the Special pizza for more than 20 years and all of a sudden it's now different. The toppings are the same, the thin crust is maybe a little more crispy (if you bent it , it cracks) and the tomato sauce is very different. The new recipe is a darker sauce and not nearly as good as the original. I don't know after all of these years that I will order their pizza again. The quality of the ingredients is excellent, and the results tasty. The staff continues to cook the Pizza just the way that they like it, with a lightly browned edge crust and soggy doughy center. If you ask for a slight char and a well done pizza, they just don't care what you want, they just do it their way, with a soggy doughy center. As this is the voice of sad experience typing this, I would have to say that the service kind of sucks. This place seemed to fall off the map for a bit, but it looks to be growing at a rapid pace now. Their pizzas are great and they've got some real good options aside from the usual sausage and pepperoni. I'm a fan of the Garden Harvest pizza. They recently added a real thin crust to the selection. It should be interesting to see what they do with it in the future. Aside from pizza, Upper Crust has the usual appetizers, salads, pastas and sandwiches. They've got two kinds of Philly cheese steak sandwiches. An "East Coast" that is pretty typical, but their "Italian Style Philly" is a really neat twist on an old favorite. They pretty much stick with carry out and delivery. Times are usually quick, but plan on a few extra minutes nights and weekends during peak hours. Their staff is always friendly. Sometimes a little rushed, but they get things done as fast as possible. As long as you give them ample notice, food is always hot and ready when you want it. Definitely worth checking out. And definitely better than any franchise pizza place. read more

Order was ready when promised, but when we opened the pizza box at home, we were VERY disappointed to see a burnt to the crisp pizza. So somebody forgot to take out the pizza on time. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs. Upper Crust has two major flaws that I think any patron would find difficult to over look. Very poor customer service and inconsistent food quality/preparation. Being a working professional, I have limited time to prepare meals throughout the week and often look to order out. Upper Crust has delivered to my house on five occasions and out of those five occasions, only one was acceptable. On two occasions, they forgot the pepperoni on their Pepperoni Plus pizza. TWO TIMES IN A ROW! Despite this, I decided to give them another try. On my last attempt to order from Upper Crust, it was decided that I would never give them another cent. I experienced possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced over the phone. The customer service associate was short, rude, disinterested in talking to me and had a very condescending tone. I pointed this out to the gentlemen on the phone and he became angry and confrontational with me. When I asked to speak to his manager, he simply hung up on me. I attempted to call a few more times after this and was hung up on each time. My assumption was that the gentlemen was trying to avoid me talking to his manager. That was the point I decided to never buy from Upper Crust again. Which lead me to discover another pizza joint far more worthy of my coin, Vedo's Pizza. I've been here a few times. I've heard great things from several people so I always would give this place the benefit of the doubt. Sadly after 3 tries I' d have to say I'm done here. The pizzas are kinda pricey (which is ok..) but for what I paid for them I was very unsatisfied. Today I went in there again, and ordered something completely different. Hoping for a redemption. I've gotten grub from this place twice now, and both times it was no disappointment. I've only had the hand-tossed pizza, which is a quality, crisp-chewy crust pizza that tastes homemade, not grease covered and commercial. Big salads. Standard, but well prepared, appetizers. The only better crust I've had in town is Classic Slice, but there's a few spots I need to hit before I crown a pizza sensei of Milwaukee. Upper crust is totally good stuff. When I got delivery it was prompt and hot. Not as cheap as some of the better known pizza joints about town, but still a lesser-known spot worth trying. read more

Visiting home for the holiday, some friends and I decided to order pizza here last night and were not disappointed. We got one pepperoni plus, which arrived gooey and piping hot, a calzone with one of the best crusts I've had in a very long time, and jalapeño poppers which were average quality (but still got eaten within 5 minutes). The online system told us it would be a 55 minute wait- they were here in 30! I appreciated that and the customer service we received just as much as the pizza, itself. Trying to figure out this places' niche... I jumped at it like I thought I should with no menu, called and ordered a meat-lovers for delivery with high expectations. Pizza delivered; but, the center of the crust was extremely soft and I was frustrated with what I received. It wasn't undercooked, but realizing the four meat grease was the most likely culprit, finished the first slice, and threw the box in the fridge. I told myself to relax and that we (proverbial) were going to work with it, since Yelp! reviews led me to believe this pie was something special. Please mind the alternate definitions of the word special (I'm thinking of the bricks of ham placed on the pizza). I lovingly toaster-ovened the slices for the rest of the week with mixed reviews that were not necessarily time-dependent. It went from love at second bite, to confusion as to why it felt so right, to getting downright dirty with it, and then the ounce of regret following an entire week of eating leftover za. Once smitten, forever smitten. My toaster oven is now a total mess; however, my stomach felt damn fine and still think this place still has potential. They said 40 minutes, and on Friday at 5:20 I thought that was acceptable. Maybe 50 minutes is acceptable on Friday at dinnertime and I'd have been ok with that. They were running late. But in all seriousness, how do you f--- up an order of garlic bread? I got my order of garlic bread with NO GARLIC, NO BUTTER, NOTHING. Just a rubbery piece of bread!
