I've tried pizza throughout the Naples area and this is by far the best pizza in the area. Had the opportunity to speak with the owner who cooks and his wife who waited on me and they are great people. Definitely a family friendly atmosphere. Nothing was necessarily wrong with this place, but the food itself isn't fantastic. The pizza seemed very greasy, which is fine I guess. The calzones also aren't anything special. It's not like the place was so bad that I stopped eating or anything, but I would probably try a different pizza place next time I'm in the area. This review is not about their food or pizza quality. Is about the owners and their responce to a situation that occured at their restuarant. My husband mistakenly left his wallet on the counter and when he returned home 5 minutes later he had realized what he had done . We immediately called the establishment and asked them to check for the left behind wallet. The employee on the phone told us she didnt see it, so we jumped in the car to return. As we were back and standing at the counter loudly asking both the employees and waiting patrons if the had seen the wallet, the nice girl who worked there loudly announced that the had Camara over the check out counter and she would ask the owners to review the tape. With that a man who was waiting for his owner stepped forward and asked my husband if this was his wallet. Evidently he had pocketed the wallet and decided to step forward only after hearing the attendant saying that there were cameras over the counter. I thanked the man and took out cash to compensate him. I then returned home a 5 minute drive and called the place to ask the owners to review the tape to confirm that this guy had pocketed my husbands wallet. Margie the wife owner told me that they would do that to confirm my suspicion. I called the following day to ask her again and she told me should would have her husband review their footage. I called once again the next day and she told me once again. That she would check with her husband . They never bothered to do so. After my many calls and never bothered to call me back. So in essence a robbery took place in their establishment under their Camara and they could care less to do anything to cure the curiosity of a faithful client living around the corner from their business. Can you believe that they wouldnt even bother to look at their footage to confirm a crime in their place of business.! What a nasty way to conduct business. Next time I will call the naples police to enter their place and demand them to be cooperative . Never go back. These people are not helpful to their community and patrons. Rosatis pizza is the definition of a great restaurant experience... not only is the staff amazing and very polite but they try there hardest to do the service industry the right way: by putting the customer first. You will spend a little more here than your dominoes or Pizza Hut but I've always learned you gotta pay for quality and when it comes to food I have no problem with that!!! The shop is also very clean, being in the pizza industry for almost ten years, its hard to find a place I'd eat off the floor!! Through a long process of ordering over the phone for a pizza to be delivered within 1 mile of Rosati's I waited 90 minutes + for a medium 14 inch pizza. I paid 25 dollars for a medium thin crust pizza. I felt like that was a bit pricey, yet hoped for a delicious pie. There is a delivery charge I was not told of ahead of time. I feel like being up front with charges is important. Transparency in business is crucial. I'm unsure if tip was included in the delivery charge, but I tipped the nice man anyhow. The pizza was cold. My 5 and 6 year olds ripped through it and were still hungry. I'd imagine that dining in the restaurant would be a better choice, but was not an option. My point is to be up front with up-charges especially when there are different "deals" offered where if you buy $25 worth then delivery is "free"... read more

So here's a fun fact...A deep dish pizza at Rosati's takes 45 minutes to cook. So one would think that if you called ahead before leaving your home, and even offered to give a credit card number, they would be happy to start your pizza prior to your arrival so that you weren't forced to wait almost an hour for your food. Not only won't they do that, they'll chastise you for asking since its "season"!!! I was craving spaghetti and meatballs last week, so I ordered Rosati's for delivery. The woman who took my order was nice, and extremely thorough. Delivery took about an hour and fifteen minutes. Thankfully, my family wasn't starving. The driver was courteous and the food was excellent (though a little pricey for delivery, totaling somewhere around $53 before tip, for 3 build-your-own pastas, an appetizer of cheese bread and a 2 liter of soda). I was driving through Naples on the way to Miami and decided to eat here. The "Chicago style" pizza was pretty bad. Soon as you cut it the entire filling just leaks all over the plate. We are from the Chicago area & have been desperately searching the Naples/Marco Island area for GOOD CHICAGO STYLE pizza!!! We have had no luck, UNTIL NOW!!! We have frequented Rosati's Pizza's back in Chicagoland but wondered if this could possibly be as good? When we walked in we spoke with one of the owners, Margie, who was very nice in assuring us that they use the SAME SUCCESSFUL recipes that Rosati's have perfected for years. We could not have been happier to find this all to be true, a GREAT, crispy, thin crust, real chunk sausage & mushroom pizza! Angelo, the other friendly owner, came to our table to ask how everything was & all I could do is shake his hand & thank him for opening a Rosati's here!!! Decided to take the family to Rosati's after reading the reviews. Truly this is a great pizza spot. My kids are pizza connoisseurs and Rosati's got their stamp of approval. I also tried their healthy portion of lasagna and was not disappointed. It was above average with my only complaint being a little bit too much sauce. Nothing I couldn't handle and what I couldn't finish will make for the perfect lunch tomorrow. We finished our meal with two cannolis. I appreciated the extra touch of adding pistachios however my wife is more of a purist and chose to take them off. Either way they were enjoyed. Our server was great and he accommodated our family well. Nice casual atmosphere plus great Italian food equals a winner in our book! read more

I have never complained about any business before on this sort of platform. I always believed it was best to allow the management to solve the issue, however this time management was the issue. We arrived at the restaurant tonight about 5:15. There were only 5 tables seated and 10 or 12 tables open. The sign said please wait to be seated. I am handicapped and walk with a cane and we were promptly greeted and asked how many in our party. We told them 4 as the other couple was a few minutes away. We were told we would have to wait until they arrived. We told them we were ready to order as we wanted a deep dish and know that takes longer. We were left standing in the entry of the restaurant awaiting our table. The lady running the place answered the phone and asked if they could please hold, and made a face when apparently the customer said no. As she walked away she said unbelievable. A cashier asked us if we had been taken care of we said we needed a table for 4 but the others were not yet there. She replied she would love to seat us but did not want to be yelled at. This was all we could take. After being patiently waiting for more than 10 minutes (not one other customer entered the building at this time) we turned and went to leave. At this time the manager decided it might be ok to seat us as she said sir? I did reply back to her that we were sorry to inconvenience them that we would go elsewhere. I could understand this if they were busy. I can understand why they would have a policy of not seating an incomplete party during dinner, again if they are busy. Went to the restaurant tonight wanting to spend a nice dinner with my husband. Today marked the 3 year anniversary of an accident my husband was in. It almost took his life. We spent the day together and he wanted deep dish pizza. We arrived at the location. 4 tables inside had guests sitting at them and a couple outside. The hostess told us we would have to wait until a server could get us. The hostess was taking calls for other guests to place orders, as she hung up the phone she would make rude comments about the caller. The young server told my husband and I she would love to sit us but she would get yelled at. When she said that we decided after waiting for a while that it was time for us to go somewhere else. The hostess tried to stop us as she seen we were leaving, but we left. So on a night that was very important to us your employee almost ruined it. However we went to Joey D's and they were great and took care of us, so Rosatis lost a customer tonight and we did not even eat your pizza. RUDE!!!! Felt sorry for the server.
