Hungry Howie's is ok, nothing great, but good enough when you want to order some pizza and wings. The pizza was average at best compared to offerings in the area, typical chain pizza, but not as good as Domino's and definitely not as good as local pizzerias like L'Appetito. Wings were good, again not great because they are baked. I'm not a fan of baked wings, but Howie's wings are big and come with good Buffalo sauce. Was very disappointed with their baked sub. Tried the Chicken Parm sub, barely any chicken in it, and all they did was put chicken tenders with pizza sauce and cheese. The Howie Bread was really good. So if we order again, it won't be often, and we'll probably only get the pizza when we're in the mood for something different from our regular favorites. read more

I placed my order online, I put my zip code so it can literally let me know if there is any hungry Howe's in my area that can deliver and it gave me this location I placed my order just fine and was instantly charged a few moments later i received a call from a guy telling me I was too far and my order is being cancelled and it would take 2-3 days for me to get my refund. So I was left with no food and no money to place an order elsewhere I asked him if there was anything he could do for me as this was an inconvenience and it really isn't my fault they have a bad system that isn't set up for the right distance and he told me no and ended up hanging up on me. My wife and I grew up in Michigan, eating hungry Howie's regularly. I don't consider HH the best pizza around, but after 20 years of living in places that don't have HH, we were pleased to see HH was available in Naples, and excited to taste their flavor crusted pizza once more. Unfortunately, we have now spent the first 3 days of our vacation in Naples with food poisoning. After eating the pizza, we all began to feel sick with both vomiting and diarrhea, and upon further inspection, noticed that the pepperoni (under the cheese), had a greenish tint to it. I moved to Naples Park from the Midwest recently and saw the giant sign on the truck on 103rd - $6.99 for a large takeout cheese or pepperoni. I decided what the heck for $7 and I was surprised at the (good) quality of the pizza. I get 1/2 pepperoni 1/2 cheese, customized with a sesame seed crust (free) -- I have now probably ordered 10 times in the past couple of months. The cheese is good and the customizable crusts are great and no extra cost. I haven't even tried their other stuff, I'm perfectly happy with my go-to quick lunch or dinner option. 5 stars for quality at a value price, consistency, friendliness, and speed. read more

I ordered online and when I received the confirmation email I called the restaurant because I forgot to provide instructions on the entryway. The guy that answered was a total jerk. Turns out even though they accepted my order online they don't deliver to my area (fine). I asked if I would get a refund and he hung up. I am on vacation visiting a friend down here in Naples, FL and we ordered from here tonight (6/5/15). I am COMPLETELY dis-satisfied and disgusted. We ordered 1 (8) piece chicken tender, 1 (8) piece chicken wings, 1 order of baked ravioli and 1 small pizza half pineapple and sausage and half cheese and I don't even know where to begin. First, when we ordered the baked ravioli the employee asked small or large and we asked what the difference was. He claimed the small came with 2 and the large came with 3 so we said 2, which is not even the case (1 had atleast 10 raviolis). Than when the food actually came and instead of getting 1 (8) piece order of chicken wings we received 16, or 2 (8) pieces, they delivered 2 ORDERS of baked ravioli, the entire pizza was sausage and pepperoni instead of HALF pineapple and sausage and HALF cheese and the chicken tenders were plain and we had asked for mild. Needless to say, they literally messed up every item that we ordered. Than, when we called to tell them of their mistake the employee claimed that we had asked for 16 wings, or 2 (8) piece orders, which I thought was argumentative, especially since THEY were wrong and my friend had to explain what we wanted in tenders and wings LITERALLY atleast 4 times. The employee than told him to take 8 of the wings out and they would come pick up the extras and exchange the pizza. We than said, you want the wings back after we pick them out with our fingers? (yes, I know we could've used a fork, but cmon, usually when restaurants make the mistake, they try and make up for it) and he claimed yes, we can still sell them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is one thing to have a busy night and mess up an order but re-selling someone's order, when you have no idea what they could have done to it?! I could've spit on them, or even worse, poisoned them! If you are looking for great service at a pizza and deli restaurant try L'Appeito II on Immokalee Rd. These people are polite, the restaurant is clean and there is a great and delicious variety. They definitely DO NOT re-sell food and you are guaranteed a great experience. If you are eating here however on 6/5/15 just beware the wings!!! p.s. When they said that they would come bring the correct pizza, we waited over 45 minutes for it and when we thought that was too long we had to argue to have that refunded instead of continuing waiting (and it was past 10:00p.m.) There was 1 stand out employee whom should be credited for being the only helpful person, Danny. Worst customer service experience I have ever had. I sent a request to the corporate office asking for a refund for an online order that did not process. I was still charged twice for the order so I left a request for a refund using the contact us page on the corporate website. About 45 minutes later, I received a call from the Hungry Howie's location on US 41. Before I even spoke, the employee was already cussing saying "This is f***ing ridiculous." He was extremely rude and yelled at me for asking for a refund. I understand we had a hurricane and the internet connection was down for them and that is why the order did not process. However, I still should not have been charged twice for an order that I never received. He interrupted me when I was trying to explain what had happened and what the error message was from the website. I could not even speak for 2 seconds without being cut off. I will never be purchasing from Hungry Howie's ever again solely because of this experience with this individual store. read more

Awful pizza, awful timing waited over an hour, and then when the pizza got here it was lukewarm and WRONG. I had ordered ranch flavored crust and they put ranch all over the pizza. When I called the gentlemen was rude about the situation. Not a go to place in my opinion, awful. read more
