We had over a $100 order one of which pizzas was a deep dish which obviously had been dropped upside down. When we opened the box, it was a mess to say the least. We called them to let them know and they said they would add one onto our phone number for free the next time we ordered from here. When we called back to order next, not only did they tell us that is not happening but they were extremely rude to me. In the past we have had other issues with orders from here but never called to complain. It's a shame because other Rosati's usually do a great job but this one is terrible. Sadly we've only ever had good food and service here once last year. But with this order,it takes the cake and a nastier review needs to be written. Two Jumbo Pizzas were ordered. One sausage and one pepperoni and sausage. What does this idiot do? 1/2 sausage on the one and half pepperoni and half sausage on the others. Next it's the two 20 piece boneless wing and we ordered Xtra Hot sauce. See the picture, we got extra ranch. Um. The kicker was when my wife was giving the credit card number and the expiration was October. He says, that's 05 isn't it? Not to mention that this time the pizzas were cut in big diamond shapes and not the regular squares. I suppose that's better than the last time we ordered which the pizza was not cut at all. Oh and this time the sauce was bland. Why? No spices on the pizza. So it pretty much sucked all the way around. And the diet Coke they brought was warm. Warm! A couple of times ago, the driver marked us as delivered, but it wasn't. I went back and forth trying to figure out where my pizzas were. He cleared his cue by accident so everyone he had orders for were all marked as delivered. Then had to ask me for a pen for me to sign the ticket and almost walked off with the pen. Food used to be good here. Service was too. Now it's gone south. I see the other store has just as bad reviews in Dekalb. Not going back. I liked Vinny's, but their sauce was too sweet. Love Giordano's but they are more expensive than these idiots. I can't do Little Sleazers or Dominos here. Pizza Hut is greasy. Love Lord Stanley but it's non delivery. We ordered a pizza from here , it was delivered. The first problem is the pizza was not cut all the way through. It was undercooked the crust was soggy we had to used a fork knife because the cheese and toppings fell off. We started eating instead of pepperoni they used pepperoncinis the receipt said pepperoni. We call and get the one delivered toppings were correct but it was still undercooked watery the bottom was barely brown and the middle was very soggy,and it was not cut all the way through.We will not order from here again. read more

Soooo I ordered from here,not too long ago and not only did they take almost 2 hours for my pizza but I found hair in my pizza it was cold and the sauce wasn't even good me and my husband couldn't even enjoy it. The food is good but the staff doesn't seem to have their act together. We've had delivery from them twice recently. The first time they left an item out completely. This time, they messed up my sandwich. I had the BBQ beef sandwich and fries with a side of barbecue sauce ordered but they decided to do extra bbq sauce on the sandwich which made it nearly impossible to eat. We called and they promised to send a new sandwich, saying it would arrive in 30 min. Over an hour later, we called and they're like, oh it's sitting here. They're supposed to do a refund. We'll see. Rosati's was usually pretty good; but recently we got carry out and it was disappointing. The pizza was really salty... perhaps due to low quality cheese. I had the cheese ravioli w/marinara sauce. The sauce was watery with too big onion chunks. All in all, it seemed like a frozen product, and not a very good one at that. While their "Slices of The Day" might not be comparable to other locations double dough like I would like it to be. I did make an honest mistake while ordering and failed to mention bread-sticks with my dinner for my family on New Years Eve of all nights, one of the busiest nights in Pizza Delivery one would have to assume. To my surprise even though I can tell some of management either didn't approve of the move or was confused as to why its happening, the phone girl promised me the bread-sticks would be done within the next few minutes. She was right, I was extremely happy and I would of been had she not of done that as it was my mistake when placing the order, a failure to mention that I wanted bread-sticks. I've managed my own Rosati's, anywhere from making the food and delivering it. I very much prefer the Dekalb location if it came to quality of product(for some reason its just prepared/cooked/tastes better), but for how limited Sycamore's pizza selection is with most of the ones that have been here the longest being just absolutely terrible. Whether it be Quality of Server and/or product with most of those. This Sycamore Rosati's pizza stands above the rest, and if the only complaint that I've ever heard was that it is more expensive than most pizza places and my only arguement is a simple fact that they use REAL ingredients. Has the worst service out of any local restaurants. Ordered baked lasagna and meatballs. Girl taking order said total was $11.42. After waiting 45 minutes for delivery they brought the wrong order. Called again told my order was $11.42. 10 minutes later they bring the order it's right but now it's over $17. Lasagna was uncooked, cold and disgusting! Total waste of money. Was just denied service in the rudest, most immature way. I called in to make an order for carry out before 7:30 (they were closing at 8 because of the holiday). Someone asked if I would hold and I confirmed, but when he picked back up he went straight into an act about not being able to hear me because of a bad connection (he never paused to ask if I could hear him). I understand that it's near closing time and you aren't going to be able to fill any more orders, but just say so instead of making someone feel really small and embarrassed. Terrible service and management. And extremely average pizza. I would like to give them 4 stars but I was very dissappointed with how long it took to get my food. The quality was great and was very good when I was delivered. It took just under 2 hours to get our food. I was told within the hour. I called them after a 90 minute wait. When I called I was put on hold for 5 minutes. Whoever picked up the phone couldnt tell me how much longer I would have to wait. We ordered a large mushroom and sausage pizza and an order of hot wings. I get you're swamped. I know rosati's is a chain, but this one is different from the rest. It's still good, but their stuffed and Pan are definitely different from the ones I've had in the Suburbs. It's very expensive for college kids. Their Demographic is probably more towards the sycamore locals. read more

When placing my order was It difficult to communicate with order taker what toppings I wanted. She could not understand that I wanted different toppings on each side of the pizza. Just ordered the meal deal from there. Forgot the coupon at home and they gave us trouble about it. My husband was the one who went to pick up the pizza and had told me what happened. I called the manager, his name is Phillip, was very rude and passive aggressive with me. He actually told me he donated my pizza to the fire department since we didn't bring in the coupon. I will never give business to them again, nor do I advise giving them business if they're gonna just donate your pizza after asking if I could bring back, or if they could honor the coupon. The pizza here is decent and I actually really like their pasta which comes with garlic bread, mmm. I do find things to be a tad over priced. Especially the nuggets for the amount you get and they are only okay. What really bothers me though is the marinara sauce that comes on the side of appetizers and nuggets. It is ice cold. I can forgive having to microwave it, but when you put ice cold sauce in the bag with hot mozzarella sticks, you no longer have HOT mozzarella sticks. Also, tonight I ordered carry out and saw what looked like a basket of big, soft, delicious chocolate chunk cookies on the counter, so I couldn't resist. When I got home we noticed the sticker on the back that told the date it was baked...a week ago. We didn't eat it, as it was hard as a rock. Bad prices, bad service. It cost us nearly $60 for one pizza and 2 pasta meals for delivery. Even after confirming my address twice to the person on the phone, the delivery guy brought it to the wrong house, and left it there! I had to drive across town to my old place to pick up my dinner. When I called the manager she basically said, "Well these things happen" and only offered me a free delivery charge the next time I ordered. No partial refund, no offer of a replacement meal since mine was stone cold by the time I got to it, just a lousy $2 off the next time I ordered.
